WALLACE followed by a number that I cannot be quite sure about but seems most likely to be O339 although the last figure is notably lighter and may be an S and the two 3's could possibly be 8s. Under that are the words SILVER SOLDERED and 5 OZ. There is also an insignia on the front which I think may have the words WASHINGTON HOTEL COLON and some other letters. All in an oval around something that looks a bit like a shield or something. I have no information on the age of the item or where it came from although my impression is that the previous owner had it for several decades before it came to me around 20 years ago. Condition is excellent- the usual tarnish one might expect with silver and some minor indications it was actually used and perhaps fairly old but nothing that detracts from its appeal or value that I can see.

Vintage 5 Piece Silverplate De Uberti Italy Sugar Bowl, Creamer, Bread Plate +
This is a vintage silverplate 3 piece De Uberti Set. sugar bowl with cover. Creamer and bread plate. The knife& fork is Rogers. Knife is#12, the knife and fork is 2 different patterns. The De Uberti set is matching, Made in Italy. The bread plate is 8 1/2 x 6 with an inlay of 6 x 3 1/4. One area has a ruffness on the side, the creamer is about 3 to 3 1/2 inches tall at top, 2 inches across the bottom, the sugar bowl is about 2 x 2 inches, and 10 inches around, It just needs a cleaning. ANTIQUE VICTORIAN 5&3/4" SYRUP I don't know the maker on this piece. It is in good condition. The plate is very good. Not worn off with exception to the spot I showed on the very bottom. Pretty floral and scroll pattern with a wicker covered metal handle. The wicker is in fine shape. No cracking. The hinged cover fits nice and snug with no issues. The only issue is there is a slight impression to the right of the cartouche(spot where there would have been monograms) You can barely notice it as you can see in the photo. Antique James W. Tufts Boston Quadruple Plate Creamer Very Sturdy With Original Patina Appears to Read 3902 Under The Makers Mark This is a very old creamer. It stands 5 inches tall and weighs a little over 5 ounces. Those looking may very well be able to identify it's age by the markings or the style it is made in. I will leave that up to you to decipher. It is very solid without cracks or breaks. It stands on the base soundly and is in good condition. But it does have a slight out of round appearance. It is no matter, as it has it's original patina and has held it's age appropriately. The inside of the creamer, as shown, has some splotches in it. Here's a beautiful. Old quadruple plated silver plated sugar& creamer set from the Van Bergh Silver Plate Company of Rochester, New York. This set. Patented in May, 1898, is in great condition for its age, which I tried to show in photos. All the silver plating on each piece appears to be completely intact. Each piece has an engraved florar/fleur-de-lis styled markings. The rims and handles are also adorned with a beautiful raised relief floral& wreath design. Each piece is marked on their bottoms and is also stamped 5. This is truly a gorgeous set. The sugar bowl has a small blemish right under the rim.see last picture) The sugar bowl is also missing its original lid. The creamer has a couple of small dents. The Creamer Bowl is in the same condition as the Sugar Bowl, with one exception, which is plate loss to the inner edge of the spout lip(see photo#7 for this detail) and slight plate loss to the bass rim edge. Light minute scuffs here and there due to years of wear! The interior of the Sugar Bowl has minimal light stains. And the Creamer has a dark layer of stain, however. Both can be scrubbed with a mild abrasive cleanser to rid these stains, and brighten to a stainless appearance. Could use additional polish all around to the intricate crevices.
