Up for auction is this very cool silverplate creamer and sugar bowl put out by the Hotpoint Appliance Company. This pair measures just over 4" tall and shows the usual wear to the outside. And some on the interior as well, but still gives it a great patina. This was most likely a give away item that one would get for purchasing a Hot Point appliance in the 40's or 50's I am guessing. Vintage Corbell & Company Cream & Sugar Ornate Silverplate-bird handles, faces
This pair of ornately detailed footed cream and sugar will catch your guests attention. The set is heavy and will not tip over easily. Please check out the pictures where I have tried to show the variety of details. The handles on the creamer and sugar have a bird's head on them. The feet resemble shells. At the top of each foot is a human face wearing a hat of flowers. The body has a center medallion space to add your initial if desired. But these are not monogrammed. The body features flowers and leaves. The set needs to be polished and has some tarnish. On the underside of each piece is an impressed mark that indicates they were made in England. The mark is in Old English writing; C& Co, a building, and two more initials I am not sure off.

It needs polishing and the inside needs cleaning. I purchased this at an estate auction and am uncertain of its age but believe it to be several years old. Became successor of the Stevens Co. in 1899 and remained operating until 1943. Both pieces are clearly marked on the bottom as being“quadruple plate” which has been described as: Quadruple silver plate hollowware was some of the highest quality made during the later part of the 19 th century. Within the silversmith and silver manufacturing industry. Meriden B. Company Creamer Silverplate #2011 Beaded Lip & Bottom Silver Plate
Meriden B. Company collectors. Here is a creamer from their silverplate silver plate collection. The shape is classic frontier era. The piece has beaded edge on top. The base is comprised of two rings of the same beaded style. The piece is numbered, has the single scale imprint, has the"MADE AND GUARANTEED BY" IMPRESSION, and of course the U.S.A. imprint. The piece is not banged or dendted so it has it's original shape. It has light handling marks all over as one would expect. But nohing significant enough to mention. The piece has normal oxidation, all of which will come off with silver cleaner. However I never remvie the tarnish, I always leave that up to the buyer. The piece is medium weight so shipping will run $7.00 to anywhere in the USA. I accept Paypal.

Creamer Set 2 Corbell & Company Silverplate Vintage
Up for auction without reserve is this Vintage Corbell& Company Silverplate set of 2 Creamers. Both pieces are in good condition but could use a good overall polishing or could be left the way they are. One of the creamers is 3 legged(5 ½” tall) and the other is a pedestal style. The pedestaled creamer(6” tall) has the top decoration piece partially broken off. Both have very detailed scroll designs and are clean inside. Corbell& Company Silverplate was formed in 1946 and moved to Arizona USA in 1951. Both pieces are marked on the bottom. Please see photo for quality of product. This is a Vintage Meriden B. Company small silver(plate? creamer pitcher. It measures approx. 4-1/2" h x 6" from spout to outer edge of handle) It has etched and embossed flowers. It could be polished but it's very nice as it is. It is stamped on the bottom Meriden B. Company. It also stamped 1915 and 4888. In the company logo is a symbol that appears like an old weights and measures scale.

Creamer measures about 3" tall and 3" wide; sugar bowl stands about 6" tall to top of lid by 6' wide from handle to handle. There is a nick in the finish of the lid and some minor spots and scratches suitable to age and use. Needs some detailed polishing as there is still a bit of tarnish present on the handles. Etc.
