This is a lovely set of art deco monogrammed sugar and creamer by Wallace. Both are marked on the underside with"Wallace E.P.N.S. N66930" I can see no dents or damage to either piece. Although they do need a good tarnish cleaning and polishing. The monogram is really pretty, but I cannot decipher what the letters are. They have very elegant handles in the art deco style. The creamer is 3 3/4" high, 2 1/2" wide. The sugar is 3 3/4" high and 2 1/2" wide. The detail around the rim of each piece shows very tiny dots between the two collar pieces. What a beautiful pair of silver pieces these are! The shine is gorgeous! The proportions are very pleasing. Very graceful. The nicks and scuffs are not too obvious. These pieces are still so absolutely pretty. The sugar bowl has significant pits in the inner surface. This shouldn't be too great of a problem if you use packets of sugar and sweetener instead of pouring sugar into the bowl. It's large enough that it's easy to pick up packets out of it. I do not know a lot(really not anything about silver) so I don't know EPNS BMM signifies and also do not know if the date 1918 is the actual date or part of its pattern name. This was left to us by a relative and we never use silver so it is wasted on US and I am looking for a good home that will appreciate its beauty. This is a smoke free home and we have no pets. 19th Century Waste pots(the shorter ones seems like a sugar bowl but has no top) in fair to good condition. Both need polishing and possibly replating. The Taller one(approx 6" tall x 5.5" wide at the handles) is hall marked: FB? Silver Co Taunton. Mass. Quadruple Patented 1217" also with a crown and 1883. The? Is because the name has rubbed off. The shorter one 3.25" tall x 6.5" wide at the handles) is hall marked: Quadruple Plate 1985(that is a manufacturer's number. Not the year) I simply cannot read the manufacturer name, it is too faint. Both are beautifully etched. They do NOT match. There is some plate loss, and there are nicks and scratches. Pictures of the interiors are included. I am not an expert. I am making the best description and taking the best pictures I can. I have been selling on eBay for two ... moremonths and almost quit due to the shenanigans and malarkey of one buyer.
