I do not know much about it- from my research"silver soldered" indicates that the item has a very thick silver plating and the solder holding the different parts together is made of a silver alloy. The piece seems to be either VERY old or has had a LOT of wear(or both) as the details are worn off and it simply looks old. There seems to have been a monogram on the one side(left side when the creamer is facing forward- the side shown in first pic) I am not sure what the letters are as it is pretty worn off- it may possibly be"UL" but it is really hard to tell. This is a beautiful little individual creamer that would have held 2 ounces of cream on those days of elegant afternoon tea, set with delicate china and silver service. This little creamer has a twined design around the top edge, graceful tall pointed handle, and sturdy foot. The side has a raised oval medallion with a face that looks like the ancient Mayan designs. Inscribed into the foot are several hints to the maker, if I could just read them. It says: COOPER-CARLTON, AMC, EP. 14920 2 OZ. This pitcher is really unique. Measures 2.50" high at tip of handle. Measures 1.675" wide. And 3.75" long from tip of handle to tip of spout. In the middle of the pitcher is a giant C with U and L inside the C. On the bottom it reads Reed& Barton. Silver Soldered, 402, 2 oz. Union League Club, Chicago. I am guessing at the age. But I do know it is really old. The Union League Club trace it's roots to 1862. Since its role in 1879 the club has been credited with paying a role in establishing most of the city's major cultural organization in Chicago.

This is a very old creamer. We believe it is from the skirvin hotel in oklahoma city. It is quite cute. It has an engraved S on the side and is 4" across by 2 3/4" high.
