Martin Freres Cocobolo Wood 8 Key Irish / Romantic Flute
Martin Freres 8 key flute in cocobolo wood. Which is absolutely stunning. 8 solid silver keys. All new pads, tenon cork, and head cork. Freshly oiled. Unlined headjoint. Wonderful small round French embouchure hole. This is the most in tune period flute I have personally played and would make a wonderful flute to play the late classical through 19th century music. The flute plays at 440 with the headjoint pulled out 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. The key work on this flute is of exceptional quality- shallow and dainty pad cups, little rollers for the C and C# footjoint keys, the arm to the low C is beautifully curved to the outside of the flute, and all tenons have silver sockets. There is a repaired crack in the barrel of this flute, and an old repair to the crown assembly which are purely cosmetic- see pictures. Comes with a custom maple case I ... moremade specifically for this flute. Mid 19th century Martin Freres flutes were of exceptional quality and nothing like the 20th century company many might be familiar with. A ring key flute in cocobolo by Martin Freres was just listed for $4,000 obo here on ebay and sold. Other sites have flutes of this maker listed for the equivalent of $4,200 and a 5 key boxwood one pitched at 430 for $1650. This flute is worth the money and you won't be disappointed! Brilliant example of Nigerian colonial folk art. Circa 1920s-1930s this true collectors pieces is hand-carved and painted. Depicting an african man in a suit with red polka dot tie. 1047 The wood is chippy and the iron is rusty. They do that on purpose to give it that"weathered" look. You could use it indoor or outdoor(just spray a clear coat of accrylic on it) These work well as decorative wall hangs OR incorporated into your garden decor. This one measures 39 7/8" tall. 11 3/4" wide. Do note: There's no"hanging" attachment but as you can see by looking at it.You can simply hang it from an opening OR screw it directly through the wood to your surface. 1045 The wood is chippy and the iron is rusty. They do that on purpose to give it that"weathered" look. You could use it indoor or outdoor(just spray a clear coat of accrylic on it) These work well as decorative wall hangs OR incorporated into your garden decor. This one measures 36" tall. 11 3/4" wide. The platform is wood. The scale is brass. The weights are labeled 1 oz, 2 oz, and 4 oz. The scale is 8" wide and approximately 4 1/2" tall when the scale is horizontal. I'm sure the brass would clean up beautifully, but being an antique I didn't want to polish it. The new owner may do as they wish.

This amp is a BLUE STRIPE and has reverb, EQ, SimulClass, loop and an EV speaker. Basically, it has every option available on a MkIII. It has good tubes that are a combo of vintage tubes and hand selected modern tubes. It has no known mechanical or electrical issues. It sounds huge and will cover every base from smooth jazz to all out metal. This is the tone of Santana, Metallica, John Sykes, Larry Carlton and everyone else who has gotten down on a Boogie. Pads and cork are older on this horn but still cover and the clarinet plays well from top to bottom. No cracks or other major problems. Plating has some ware spots and lite spotting. What is the difference between plateau and normal open hole clarinet? Ans. Plateau clarinets don't have any open holed keys that require the player to seal with their finger tips. Instead they have all padded keys. Normal clarinets have seven open holed keys and Plateau clarinets have none. Cherry Wood Viola, beautiful instrument
Viola is 14 years old. But has never been played. My mim bought it for me because I wanted to take band in school but ended up becoming homeschooled and couldn't find a teacher to teach me. I used to play around with it a little, but it's never actually been played. I just had it restrung and tuned, so all strings are brand new. There's a small chip on the corner as pictured, but barely noticeable from front view. The bow is loosing some of the strands of hair, but it can still be used on the viola. The carrying case is also included.

Antique Victorian Carved Wood Wall Hanging Mirror Comb Box Towel Holder Cabinet Here's a Victorian era beauty that will appeal to all generation lovers. It's a solid wood wall hanging cabinet- with simple spoon carved wood decoration and an original beveled glass mirror. It's a fabulous multi-use piece- with the mirror. A hinged lid comb box, and a towel bar at the bottom. I would have hung in a bedroom for morning wash up with the pitcher and wash basin- is it was a pre-indoor plumbing piece. Now, it'll look great in your bathroom, bedroom or kitchen- wherever you hang it- it will shine. It measures 26" tall in total, 14" widest at the back, and 5 3/8" deepest from the back to the front of the comb box. The comb box measures 10 3/4" wide by 3 3/4" deep at the box, and the lid hangs 1" over the ... moretop of the box(by design) so it's 4 3/4" deep. The mirror is 9 1/2" by 7 1/2" and has a 1" bevel all the way around. It weighs just under 6 lbs. You can see small black spots of silver loss all over the mirror- totally expected with age, and the reflection is still very good- there's lots of small spots, but you can still see images very well and crisp in the mirror. It's in excellent solid and sturdy condition- I'm showing in photo 3 that it appears to have a repair- you reallyreally have to look close to notice, but it looks like the left"point" broke off and was glued back on at one point in time. The seam is so thin- it's very hard to see. There's finish wear all over- scratches, scrapes, dings that are minor and will really minimize with a coat of polish or a little stain tough up- the worst is on the top right and I'm showing it in a close up in photo 5- it's very light scratching and scraping of the finish only there- not the wood. The mirror at back has newer nails and a piece of wood added for support on top, but it still could use some more nails as it will move back and forth in its spot if you force it- t

Probably some naughty church boys from the past. The average person cannot see the top when standing in front of the piece. I am 6' 2" and I cannot see these marks without standing on a stool. I believe there may have originally been two additional carvings on the two vertical boards toward the back on each side. I can't say for sure. But there be appears to be some light wear in these locations. The piece is signed in the back I believe M.I. Belgium B.G.E. The only reference I could find to this signature is MI Belgium Ministre which published some religious books. The front opens and the back is on hinges so both sides open. From auction records. Newly Overhauled Buffet Evette E-11 Bb Wood Clarinet Beautiful Condition
I have for sale a very nice but older Buffet Crampon Evette E-11 Bb clarinet. Serial#203075. The modern E-11's were first made in France under the name Evette but in the 1980's, production was moved to Germany and the name was eventually changed to E-11. This clarinet was made in Germany so it's an early E-11, probably around 30 years old. It has been taken apart and cleaned, wood oiled and keys hand-polished and given all new cork pads on the upper joint and new bladder pads on the lower joint. The wood is excellent with no cracks or repaired cracks but just minor scuffs and scratches. The keys are also excellent with just 2 keys showing minor plating wear. The keys look beautiful and the wood looks beautiful. It has been play tested and plays easily and sounds great. This clarinet will hold up to any new E-11 being made today ... morebut the wood in these older clarinets is actually better wood than the wood being used today. The wood in these older clarinets is denser and tighter grained. It comes with a used Vandoren B45 mouthpiece that is in great shape and works great with the clarinet, a cloth ligature that screws from the left and a plastic mouthpiece cover. Antique Landers Frary Clark Food Cabbage Chopper Steel Blade Wood Handle
Primitive food chopper features a curved steel blade. Metal(brass? ferrules, and a curly maple cigar-shaped wooden handle. Chopper is tarnished and worn as can be expected of an early kitchen utensil, but the blade has no nicks and the ferrules are tight. A magnet sticks to the blade but not the ferrules. Hard to see on photos, but blade is marked“Landers Frary& Clark Ltd Works” From my dad’s basement. This vintage item is packed for safe transit.
