Vintage Crystal Lake NY New York 4 Carved Wood Tree Trunk Souvenir Bowls Set
For sale is a set of 4 antique bowls that were obviously souvenir items as they all have Crystal Lake. N.Y. written on them in a black ink. They are quite beautiful in their rustic nature with the exterior being natural tree bark. This might have been some sort of smoking and tobacco set because the large item in Photo#2 is an ashtray with a glass insert. It has a few cigarette marks on the lip. The other three bowls might have held cigarettes, tobacco or matches. I don't think these were designed for food service. The lidded bowl in Photo#3 has a carved hole in the center but I can't imagine why it would have a hole. All in all, very beautiful! As a gauge of size, the ashtray item is 8" across. The drawers include 1 hat box. 1 folded box and 2 small drawers The original lock is intact. But I do not have the key. Has all the original wooden hangers. Vintage Milk Glass Candy Container Trunk / Suitcase
This milk glass vintage Trunk/ suitcase is a candy container. The bottom is tin and slides open. Measures about 3 1/2" long and just less than 2 1/2" tall. C around 1906. The tin on the bottom has been painted and some paint is wearing off. Very nice piece. Came from an estate sell here in Vermont. Thanks for looking.

Recent estate find is this pair grand trunk railway uniform buttons they are in as found uncleaned condition. The small one measures aprox 9/16 inches in diameter is a silver pewter in color and is marked Montreal erenst and scott on the rear. Button 2 measures aprox 7/8 inches in diameter is also a silver pewter in color and is marked on the rear j.r.gaunt& son Montreal. They are both in very good condition. The interior is linen lined and contains the special fitted compartments made for shirts, shoes, and various other garments as well as umbrella straps. The four bottom wood slats are present as well as the heavy duty rollers. The trunk bottom is in very good condition, with zinc covering and hardwood slats. The brass hardware is all present and has not been highly polished, to preserve the aged patina. It could be polished if desired. The leather trim, corners, and handles are intact with typical signs of wear. The leather has all been treated with professional leather treatment polish. It is hard to find ornate trunk handles of this style that are still intact. The trunk is a great size for use as a table if desired. Condition notes: This trunk is in very good used condition. But there are signs of age and use which are typical for a trunk of 100 years or more in age. There are some minor issues I want to describe. Beautiful Antique Flat Top Trunk Very nice mid-sized flat top trunk from the 1890's. This trunk has been 100% restored and is excellent condition. I did not personally refinish this particular trunk. However, I did put a fresh coat of Tung oil over the entire trunk and have repainted all the hardware with a flat black paint and it really looks great. Very solid trunk all around, nicely built, hinges are strong, all hardware is included. The handles have been replaced with new 3-ply leather for many more years of life. The interior of this trunk is a simple pattern with a vintage print attached in the top. The wallpaper does have some minor staining, but nothing serious. This trunk also has two trays, an upper tray made to hold larger items/garments and a lower, much shallower tray made to hold smaller/lighter items. Vintage Travel Wardrobe Steamer Trunk Nice and Clean
Up for auction is this very nice Vintage Steamer Trunk it is in good condition considering it's age. It does not have any name on it that I can see. It has on the leather handle some indentions of words but all I can make out is R-407. The lock has Everlasting lock D63 but the lock is broke which could be replaced. I guess it wasn't everlasting. There is a little water damage on the inside please look at photo's 3&4. This is a great way to store your special things you want to keep.Thank you and happy bidding.
