This is an awesome rustic vintage Gibraltarized Hartmann Cushion Top Wardrobe Trunk! It would make a great addition to your house: You can use it for storage. A coffee table or even convert it to a liquor cabinet.great possibilities and awesome character! Hangers and drawers are included. The trunk also has the initials"S.G.P. on it! The main lock was broken by someone else to get into the trunk so that is not functioning(you can see in the pictures how the lock has been bent) This is believed to be from the 1920s and thus certainly has a lot of cool vintage wear. The bottom side of the trunk has parts where the black coating is missing(seen in pictures) The cloth is old and has wear to it from the years of travel. Heavy large black vintage trunk. Possibly art deco? The outside looks like leather. The insert maybe wood. It's heavy and made really well. There is no hanging lock with a key. There are some markings- 1932 underneath the whole of the lock and above there is marking: Long Lock" The size is 31" long x 17" wide by 13" high. Can be a great coffee table with inside storage.

It includes a“Long” lock and a black rubber handle. I am not sure what material the actual trunk is made from, but it is not wood or metal. It appears to resemble some type of heavy duty flexible cardboard material. The inside is lined with paper and the outside has a covering as well. This steamer trunk is in very good condition with some only one or two tiny nicks on the outside of the trunks covering. Inside is clean with no rips or tears and there is no odor. ANTIQUE/VINTAGE/OLD TRUNK HANDLES AND DRAWER PULL
Offered are the handles and latch off of an old wooden trunk. The trunk fell apart from being in a damp environment but the hardware on it was saved and hopefully can be used to help fix or restore another trunk or piece of furniture. There are 2 side handles that measure 4" side x side and 4" top to bottom. The latch that lifted the lid measures 5" wide x 1.5" top to bottom. The pieces are in good condition. Large Vintage Chinese Trunk Chest Document Box with Rice Paper Interior
I am offering a lovely vintage wooden trunk measuring approximately 23 inches long and 12 inches wide and 9 1/8 inches tall. The box has lovely and beautiful metal decorations. The inside of the box is lined with I believe rice paper which has Chinese writing on it. The box is in very good condition but does have a few scratches and some small nicks(see pictures) The postage is estimated and will refund any significant overcharge.

Vintage Hand Carved Large Chinese Chest/Trunk Purchased in Hong Kong 1950's
Here is a unique find. This was a recent auction purchase that was brought over from Hong Kong in the early 1950's. It was purchased by a Minnesota military pilot who lived in Hong Kong in the early 1950's. When he and his family moved back to Minnesota in 1954. They brought the chest with them. I don't know the age of this chest other than when it entered the country. The chest is very intricately carved with wonderful detail. The chest measures approximately 39" wide. 19" deep and 23" from floor to the top of the lid. The lid of the trunk has a broken brass interior lid stop that prevents the lid from being opened to far. There are a few small marks on the lid probably from someone forgetting about the broken stop while opening the lid. One of the Asian men has part of a lock of hair missing on the lid. The back ... moreright joinery of the trunk does have some movement and cracking however the lid still functions as it should. I am guessing the humid climate in summer along with dry winters have had some effect on the wood. The latch will need to be reattached by removing the three screws and putting it back together. It is shown in the pictures however is just laying on the hasp. There is a very unusual brass lock that needs to be repaired. The brass claws will need to be reattached to the locking mechanism and the H key for the lock is not present. There is also a dime size blemish in the front of the chest. Looks like it may have been bumped while moving. This item will be for pick up only however we can bring it to a shipping location in Minneapolis area however all logistics will be the responsibility of the buyer. Trim and wheels. Both side latches work. The trunk was loved and used! The cloth lining has a rip on the bottom, front right and is worn in spots. The rear center brace is split at center. Vintage WWII Japanese Footlocker/Trunk. Made of wood(not sure what kind) Is a little"rough around the edges" but sturdy. Several nails have been hammered inside the lid(see pics) One latch is missing(see pics) Dovetail like construction(but NOT dovetail) Name engraved is Hachiro Kita. There is some writing on the front of the box in(I think) indelible marker. I'm not certain what the inscription means(if anything) My guess is that this was used during the period when the U.S. created'camps' for the Japanese that lived in the States during the war. Did some brief internet research on Hachiro Kita and it looks as though he may have lived in Colorado during that time. None of this information is confirmed. However. If you have any insight. The Genuine National Vulcanized Fibre Trunk was only in production from 1922-1965. This trunk looks by age to be from the 1940's. I did not take it to antique dealer to get the exact year it was made. For lack of time. This was bought from an antique distributor who did not know the exact date, so this is up to the buyer. Because the company went out of business this trunk would not be any older than 1965. There are 2 wardrobe drawers that are really deep about aprox 11.5" Length: 36" Width 12" from the outside. ... moreIncluded are 4 wooden hangers. Wonderful antique wardrobe trunk found at an auction. The trunk has the manufacters name plate P Becker& Co. Makers Chicago. I could not find much history on this just that around 1930 they went from making trunks and suitecases to table tennis. Anyway this trunk is very heavy. It is in pretty good condition. It does need some cleaning up which was going to be my project but I need to find my garage before winter. The trunk is 43" tall and 21x24" on top. It opens sideways. This nice tool chest was obviously hand made to hold an individual's personal tools. The chest is hinged with no latch and there are nice handles at either end. The lid is held perpendicular by a chain when it is opened. The chest measures 26" L x 11.5" W x 10"T. The toolbox is divided into several different compartments inside. Vintage Trunk Antique Humpback Steamer Storage Wardrobe Chest Reptile Texture
Up for sale is this vintage or antique early 20th century humpback trunk. The front. Back and top have metal panels with a reptile skin texture. The side metal panels are smooth with a blue tint. The humpback top has wood banding. There is metal banding on the edges. It has metal one directional wheels on the bottom. There is extensive patina on the metal and wear on the wood finish. Part of the metal lid strip is missing on the front corner, and the leather handles are missing. It has 2 broken hinges and the inside shows use wear as in soiling, filth, staining. The lid on the insert is detached but is included with the trunk. It has a strong smell of moth balls. The lock does not latch and we do not have the key. However, the other 2 latches do function. This trunk measures approximately 30 inches long by 16 1/2 inches wide and 20 inches ... moretall. This trunk is being offered"as is" with no warranties and no returns.
