This is a great vintage small suitcase. It's classic mid-century modern! The surface is a linen look blue with blue edges and handle. The inside is blue fabric lining. Elastic pocket at either side. There are ribbons on the bottom to tie your belongings in. There are small straps on the lid, I'm guessing there was a mirror originally. The back of the suitcase is wider than the front. It is 15 1/2" wide, 12" high, the depth at the bottom, 5 1/2" the front, 4 1/2. At some point, there was a price written on it in red crayon or grease pen. Antique Trunk Hardware Lot of 79 Trunk/ Suitcase Latches.These latches measure roughly 1 1/2" high by 1 1/4" wide. The 32 latches on the bottom row have no spring. The 24 latches on the middle row have springs. The 23 pieces on the top row are the latch tops. I do not know if the tops fit the bottoms as these all came to me like this. Very cool old"Steam Trunk" suitcase with CAMP O-TAHN-AGON Three Lakes. Wisconsin and Carolin Zilisch Menominee, Michigan printed nicely on the side. It's the first time I've seen a trunk with this kind of advertising, it's very unusual! It measures 30" x 16" x 12" deep and has the inner removable shelf. US Army ? Antique Vintage Military paint Suitcase Trunk Case
I do not know if this is a military issue suit case or for civilian use. It is an Old find. It looks it has been repainted in the past in Olive Green. It has metal panels. Leatherstrip handles and brass locking devices. I do not know at what State this suitcase was made but the main lock has a New Jersey factory logo. What you see it what you will get. It is a FULL size case and i can get actual dimensions upon request. It is in good condition with many Oil Can dents here and there.

This is a vintage Electronics hard shell carrying case or trunk with the Reddy Kilowatt man on the sides. It was bought from an old school and its in fair condition but very unique. I do not know the history of this item.whether the Reddy Kilowatt man was on the case to begin with or if the decals had been placed on there from someone at the school. All of its hinges. Latches and corners which are metal are well connected, but the trunk has wear. The exterior is a hard shell with signs of wear. I'm not sure what its made of. Part of Comdy No.19 KT of Vallejo, California appears on the side of the case. The leather is embossed in an oval above the latch with: Henderson Ames Co. Kalamazoo, Mich. I believe it to be made between 1893 and 1923, as that appears to be the active dates for the company. Suitcase measures approximately 22" wide X 12 1/2" deep X 11" high. It is in very good condition consistent with it's age with good hinges. Locks, and hardware. Vintage Black Suitcase Shoe Travel Trunk from 30's or 40's Wonderful vintage suitcase that is divided with 8 compartments to carry your shoes. The suitcase is vintage I think from the 1930's or 40's possibly earlier The outside is a textured black covering over a wood frame with a navy blue Moire lining. There is one long hinge across the backside Not sure who made the suitcase. The locks are marked British Make and there is an oval with a feather mark The suitcase measures 25-1/2" wide by 12-1/2" by 7-3/4" deep. The suitcase is in good condition with some nicks. Marks and bumps on the outside, chips on the outside corners. The handle has missing leather. NO KEYs for the suitcase This is an old case that does have an old smell on the inside. Very cool vintage suitcase from the WW 2 period. Has a beautiful dragon and the sailor's name painted on the front of the case. I did find a James J. Tamulonis on ancestry. Had him on muster rolls for the USS Hansford from Nov. 1944-April 1946. Can't guarantee it is the same man though. Leather with brass. Measures 24 x 12 x 7" Has a wooden frame inside of case. Is very worn. But still holding together. The frame is not straight, and the ticking inside is coming loose. Condition is ok for its age, hard to find one much cooler than this.

OLD antique Steamer Trunk Wooden Trim luggage suitcase HAMBURG AMERICAN LINES
You are bidding to purchase an amazing primitive antique steamer trunk that is unmarked. But reminds me of the Louis Vuitton ones. And covered with a textured substance that reminds me of leather. But I’m not sure that’s what it is. I appreciate any information you can provide about this well-traveled piece of history. It is wooden and has rounded corners and measures approximately 33 x 21 x 13 inches and has leather strap handles on the ends for easy carrying. One end of the strap is secured to the trunk and the other end will slide back and forth to a metal stop so that the leather handle will lay flat when not in use and pulls out for a comfortable grip when moving it. This case features a rounded wooden trim with metal(possibly brass) guards on the corners. It has 3 metal hinges to hold the lid in place and a metal trim band around the ... morelid and along the front side corners. There are several labels or stickers on this case. Some of them read: On the right end: HAMBURG-AMEWRIKA LINIE D. DEUTSCHLAND(I believe this is the Hamburg-American lines) Another one also reads HAMBURG AMERIKA LINIE A third one on that end is worn but is also from Hamburg America Line(per the logo) A forth one on that end says OBERSEE-GEPACK-NR. With a number that looks like it may be 23803 followed by S. DEUTSCHLAND HAMBURG-AMERIKA LINIE(THE LAST LINE HAS BEEN WORN AND IS MOSTLY ILLEGIBLE) The white label on the other end has a number 9. And the text is illegible but looks like it might also say Hamburg. The label on the lid is the amazing oval paper orange label that has a steam boat on the upper portion of the label. Vintage wood bound steamer trunk. There are no identifying marks on the hardware or trunk other than the number 75 below the keyhole on the latch. I believe this trunk was made in the UK as the estate I acquired it from had many vintage items from Europe. However that is not for certain. I am not a collector and know very little about old trunks. So I have taken pictures from every angle so you can see the entire trunk. Please note the third picture, upper left hand corner, a small piece of material is missing. Also note the last picture.the wood banding was broke and repaired at some point in time. Vintage or Antique Hartmann Tourobe Wardrobe Travel Steamer Trunk Suitcase
This is an antique or vintage Hartmann Tourobe made in Racine WI travel wardrobe trunk. Trunk measures about 35" x 20" x 12" This has been used. There are surface scratch/rub marks on the outside of the trunk, the leather handle is broken off, the closures work but there is not a key to lock them. Trunk is has markings on the end that say Lt. Comdr. Johnstone MCVS U.S.N.R. on the end and a sticker that says Gibalterized. The Hartmann Tourobe Racine Wi sticker is intact. There are travel stickers attached to the outside and a tag that says Railway Express, Inc. War Won't Wait, if that helps to date it. This outside is black with metal, and not sure what the main material is, maybe a pressed wood. The inside is blue with 3 compartments on the fold down side, 2 of the compartments have cloth ties, the top cloth part folds ... moreover and snaps at the end, snap pieces are intact. The other side has 2 wood hangers and the metal pieces that hold the hangers fold in to hold the hangers and can be folded out when the trunk is opened. There are some water marks on the cloth cover of the fold out part and a musty smell to the inside of the trunk. The red stripes on the outside of the trunk do have rub marks.

It is 12.5"x37"x21" Made of a thick resin board that is riveted and has unique metal corner caps and metal support brackets. The leather handles on both ends are damage one is missing. The metal has tarnish and wear. The outside finish is worn and stained. The inside of the trunk has a removable storage unit that has a buttoned lid. The buttons are also marked Indestructo. Cave& Sons started in 1839 and made quality trunks and have made reproduction Osilite trunks. But from all signs this appears to be original. Not Sure on age or date that it was made. Antique Early 1900's Czechoslovakian Wood Military Suitcase Trunk
I had this listed before and a kind e Bayer sent me more information on it. It is a military suitcase issued to soldiers. Both enlisted and officers The name Barbora is a name of a mine that was renamed 1951. Zdar Buh" means Praise the Lord, traditional greeting of miners. There are some more numbers and letters in ink inside the box, possibly a serial# of his rifle. Also the owners name carved in front. The box is 24" long, 12" high and 12" deep.The box corners are mitered and there is one tray inside. The top is lightly rounded. The last picture shows some carvings on the top side. Shipping cost is estimated and I will adjust it to true cost when it is actually shipped.
