The chest is in amazing condition, with very little ... moresign of wear at all. The chest has the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. There is a small sticker remnant on the mirror frame as well. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that was originally contructed between 1920 and 1940. The chest has cabriole legs that taper slightly towards the bottom. The attached mirror section has amazing lion's paw feet on the upper shelf detail, which gives it a wonderful and unique style. The drawers have dovetail joints.

It is an antique chest. The chest has mahogany veneer. The drawer sides and bottom are made of oak. The drawers have square nails and the underside of the drawers are hand chamfered. The interior of the pulls have carved mother of pearl. It is 48 1/2" tall x 21" deep x 49" wide. The chest is in fair used condition. The drawers open and close fairly smooth. The veneer has some warping. Chips and old repairs. The top is loose and has some dings, staining and remnants of tape. Overall, it presents well. A true antique. Beautiful. Petite carved wood chest of drawers with marble top. The commode was probably some sort of burled wood that has now been painted a flat black. Because it was painted over burl, you can see the varying textures on the sides. It looks like the hardware or at least screws were replaced at some point as some of the screws are quite long when you open the drawers. The bottom drawer is hard to open. Some chipping to paint. The marble top is a beautiful shape with varying veining of purples and pinks. The piece is a great size and would work as an end table, nightstand, storage piece in a powder room, etc. I would recommend white glove shipping to protect the delicacy of the marble, but I'll leave shipping arrangements up to the buyer. Circa 1880- 1900, but please make up your own mind about this. The chest of drawers measures approx 11 3/4 inches(300mm) wide. By 6 1/4 inches(160mm) deep, by 10 inches(250mm) tall, and is made from solid oak, with pine linings to the drawers. There are three pull out drawers. With cast iron handles. There are small pieces of moulding is missing from the top left corner. And the bottom drawer front(see photos) Other than that it is in good coverall condition with very light wear consistent with its age. But no damage or woodworm. Antique New Hampshire Chippendale Chest of 5 Drawers c. 1800 Pine
Fantastic antique New Hampshire Chippendale chest of drawers. Constructed from pine. This piece has been stained a beautiful deep reddish brown tone. The chest has five graduated doors, each with sturdy dovetail construction and brass willow mount pulls and escutcheons. The chest has a classic overhanging molded top, which is balance my simple bracketed feet at the piece's base. This chest probably dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. Overall. The chest is in fair to good antique condition, but does have some wear and dings commensurate with age and use. One of the escutcheons also has a break near the top, as you can see from the pictures below. Otherwise no significant damage or visible repairs. This chest stands 41" tall and measures 38 3/4" wide and 19 1/2" deep. Beautifully ornate relief carved Reischmann dresser and matching side table. Rare piece. Not much info out there about this NYC mfg but they seem to have been in business in the late 1800's into the early 1900's. Top drawer has jewelry section. Nice shape. Drawers slide nice for a piece this old. The pulls that are missing are there- just removed and waiting to be put back in. No idea what the jewel is in that pull. 2 pieces of furniture. This is a Victorian 3-Drawer Chest with a white marble top. It is hand-carved of pine wood with traditional Victorian leaf-shaped pulls. The drawers have hand-cut dovetailed joints. Outstanding antique campaign chest of drawers constructed from pine and stained a deep. Slightly reddish brown. This piece, designed for easy transport during a military campaign, looks like it comes apart in two pieces. The chest has four graduated drawers, each with brass bail handle pulls and key surrounds. The faces of the drawers have been attached with fine dovetail joinery. The entire chest rests on bracket feet that are both solid and decorative. The wood has a wonderful aged patina and the finish has minor wear and some alligatoring, showing off the piece's age. This chest most likely dates from the 1800's. The chest is in good antique condition with age-appropriate wear. There are some breaks to the framing of the drawer faces. Antique Blanket Chest with 2 drawers ~ red paint ~ fish tail hinges ~ 32" tall
Description This is a large antique blanket chest with 2 drawers. It is all hand dovetailed. It came out of an estate in Pennsylvania. The chest has red paint however someone removed the paint from the lid. It has the original fish tail hinges. One hinge does have a crack at the bend but still works. The inside is clean. The original till is in very good condition however there is a black stain on one side of the bottom. The 2 lower drawers are in very good condition and have sandwich glass pulls. Which may be original. One pull has a large chip and the other one has a small chip. The drawers are hand dovetailed with chamfered bottoms. The feet have extra nails coming from the top, probably to secure them over the years. The chest has the smell of mothballs due to an old box found in one of the drawers. It will need airing out. Antique American NY or MA Early 19th Century Federal Chest of Drawers
This is a nice antique American New York or Massachusetts early 19th century Federal chest of drawers. I'm leaning more towards Massachusetts because the estate it came from collected earl American Massachusetts furniture as well as antique Massachusetts artwork. In pretty good shape considering it's age and retains a very old possibly original finish. It does have some imperfections throughout which is to be expected as it is nearing 200 years old with the worst being the cracks to the the top and one side but overall very nice shape and it comes exactly as shown. I believe the handles and hardware to be original with the exception of the 2nd drawer keyhole being replaced and it has some holes by the keyholes because someone had covered over the original hardware with Eastlake hardware which I removed to find the originals underneath ... moreas well as it having some paint flakes to the top of the carvings on the side. Dark brown wood and in awesome condition for its age. Has a couple of light scuffs on the top but nothing too deep. Estate found. Antique. Handmade tall Wooden box or chest with 6 drawers and their original metal pulls. from c 1900- 1910. A wonderful piece of Americana and folk art. the box measures 13 1/4" at its widest point x about 15" tall and about 8" deep. the drawers vary in size. 5 of the 6 drawers sit on a platform with the longer. Wider drawer underneath. the box before packaging weighs 5 pounds US weight. clearly can see the joined portions of the wood throughout. the pulls have a"butterfly" end on the inside of the drawers. the front and bottom wood is brown color. the rest of the wood is painted green. Condition: Very Good. on the outside. Has paint loss, staining; long crack down the back side; 2 holes on the back top from where it was hung. Circa 1820 Mahogany Ring pulls Minor cosmetic wear throughout Sturdy and strong, Handmade in Georgian-period England around 1820. This wonderful chest exhibits all the fine quality and beauty characteristic of Georgian furniture. The mahogany, for instance, remains as rich and striking as ever, while the excellent choice in solid brass pulls compliment beautifully with the wood. They are of a classic round design with ring handles. Each drawer has a lock but no key is present. You can also see on the top where the sides and top are joined with hand cut dovetails, a sign of authenticity and quality. While in our opinion they add character and charm to the chest, we understand this will not be the case for everyone. This is a beautiful and quite rare antique miniature chest of drawers. It appears to be a furniture salesman's sample. The style appears to be an 18th century style. This piece is quite old and appears to be at least early 19th century and possibly earlier. Many of the drawers appear to be made from pieces of wooden antique cigar boxes. The chest of drawers measures 14" tall x 9 3/4" wide at widest point x 6" deep not including the handles. It has wear from use but overall has a great antique style and looks amazing. CHEST OF DRAWERS ANTIQUE CHAIRS TABLES BRONZE SCULPTURES FINE PAINTINGS SCHOOL OF ORIGIN SUBJECT LAMPS. LIGHTING FINE AMERICAN FEDERAL MAHOGANY BOWFRONT CHEST OF DRAWERS Mid-Atlantic States. Probably Maryland, c. 1790-1810 Item# 120101KVP05 A harmonious and exceptionally well proportioned form. This fine chest of drawers exhibits a delightful mellowed mahogany throughout, remaining in nearly pristine condition. Crafted of solid mahogany and mahogany veneers, the golden grain flow is magnificent and unbroken. The top is a thin plank of mahogany with an inlaid rim flanked by stringer inlay outlines, in profile conforming to the gentle bowing across the front of the facade. The drawers are also bowed, the fronts formed of sawn poplar in a laminated stack finished in a delightful mahogany veneer. Each retains fully original oval brasses flanking ... moreoriginal keyhole escutcheons over original cut steel locks. Ovular stringer inlays outline each of the graduated four drawers. They are hand dovetailed back and front, the bottom board chamfered to rabbet into the drawer frame and secured with glued blocking at regular intervals along the edges. The drawer blades tenon into the case behind mahogany veneers, a pine core backing each blade routed to receive the dust board between each drawer. The back of the case features original poplar planks. Many with original iron nails, but re-secured with nails and screws throughout. An original yellowed hand written label is illegible, but still present on the back of the case; it is a 20th century note of provenance, seeming to describe this"Chippendale Chest of Drawers" as belonging to an illegible relative and is apparently dated 1902. The chest rests over four entirely original French feet, each with soft outward splay and retaining original blocking along the underside. Original in almost every single aspect of the chest. This work of art is remarkably well preserved. As an investment grade antique in every aspect, this is a very fine acquisition for any serious collector
