This is a very fine quality and large silver bowl made circa 1890. The bowl has gently curving sides and stands on a stepped round pedestal base. The side of the bowl are finely chased in high relief with buildings. Figures, a man ploughing with his oxen, a man collecting coconuts from a tree, with plants, bushes and trees against a textured background. The base of the bowl also has a band of chased buildings and trees. The inside of the bowl is gilded. The bowl is large. It is 8-1/2 inches/ 216 mm in diametre and it stands 6-1/2 inches/ 165 mm high. It weighs an impressive 666 grams. The sideof the bowl is stamped TP 90 for 900 grade silver. The pattern is very intricate and has a zipped edge. Im not sure of the pattern name for the cut on the base. Overall condition is excellent. There are a very few light flea bites to an odd area of the more heavily cut pattern areas. There are no other marks. It has a Victorian design. I cannot find any information on this pattern. I don't know if the number is a pattern number or a manufacture date. If you have any information please share with me. This has an old design that looks like a hair barrette or trellis with flowers on either side. At the top of the bowl is a rope design. Above that is a design with an Art Nouveau type of C surrounded with three flowers. There is also a design to the middle line with lit tle boxes and leaves inside. There is a th ird high-low design on the outer edge that looks like trees. This same design is along the bottom of the pedestal. There ... moreis a little dent in the pattern on the top edge of the bowl that is hard to see because of the pattern. There is a little t arnish but it needs a good cleaning so that may be resolved. There are a couple of dark spots in the bottom of the bowl. There is no monogram. There are a some silverware marks as it's been used but that's to be expected. You can see the shine from the photos as the light hits it. It was hard to take pic tures of because it re flect s the surround ing lights and colors. The bowl weighs 2 lbs. It meas ures 11 3/4" across the top. The pedestal meas ures 5 3/4" across the bottom and it's hollow inside. It is 4 7/8" tall. This will be shipped with insurance and signature. Marked with a web with a center W, the number 677 and quadruple plate on the bottom. Th is is not perfect. It needs additional cleaning but responded well to the cleaning done with just a cloth so far. There are tiny dents o n the bottom edge of this piece when closing examined. This is a vintage Victorian. I believe Webb Glass peach blown bridal bowl and basket. The basket says it is, Made and Guaranteed by Meriden B Company, 1738. The basket measures 11 1/4" tall x 5 3/4" in diameter at the base. The bowl measures 11 3/4" in diameter. It has a clear opalescent glass rim and a semi-polished pontil on the bottom. It is in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repair. It does have a couple of bubbles. The basket could use a polishing, but is otherwise in very good condition. It is listed in my store. Up for a no reserve auction is a very beautiful sterling silver nut dish made by GORHAM. Retailed by Spaulding& Co circa 1908. The dish has a gorgeous patterned edge. The dish measures 4" by 2 3/4" and is about 1" deep. The dish has a monogram of"RME" Which is shown in the 5th picture. The back of the dish is clearly marked"STERLING 6074A" with the Gorham hallmarks and Spaudling& Co and the date mark for 1908. The dish is in very good condition overall with no major dings, and no holes or repairs. There are two very small dings, on is in the bottom of the dish and one is on the side. Up for sale is this magnificent antique silver plated compote/epergne.It was made by Wilcox Silver Co and is so marked on the bottom.It features a cherub holding the epergne horn and a bird on the other side.There are various dark black patches over the piece.I polished a section on the top and it came out quite nice.I believe the plating to be in excellent condition.Just in need of a good polishing.The glass horn is lightly cut with a fern design.It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks.There is a name engraved on the base,not sure what it says.Please note there are 3 branches that support the center bowl.The middle one is cracked through,but the others still support the bol-see photos.It is not a noticeable thing.The entire piece measures approx. 10" at it's tallest and 13" at longest x 9" at widest.A beautiful ... moreand unique piece.As found in a local estate.

Antique Sugar Bowl(Marked Barbour Silver co. 2445) Barbour Silver Co. appears to have been a marketing company for I J Stearnes& Company of thier silver plate goods started by Samuel and Charles Barbour in the late 19th century in New Haven. Connecticut. It was originally called Barbour Brothers Company, located at 64 Market St. in New Haven. By 1892 the company was renamed Barbour Silver Company, but by 1898 it was purchased by the International silver company. It has Stunning colors of a lush, dark rosy pink which fades into a pale blush pink then into milk white. The pink and white glass is encased inside a layer of clear glass and has clear glass edging around the ruffles. The exterior is white with an smooth pontil mark. Hello. This is a beautiful antique Brides bowl with metal basket. The metal(Unknown, might be pewter) basket stands 12" tall and has a wonderful detailed and ornate design. The widest area across from ball to ball is 12" The bowl is a double crimp ruffle with a clear crest at the top and is a pinkish cranberry color. It has three groups of hand painted flowers with one on the bottom. The flowers are a mix of pink shades with yellow buds, blue petite flowers and green accents. The artist did a wonderful job of paint blending to create the colorful roses. This large bowl is 10" across and 4" tall. The bowl is in excellent used condition and so is the paint. No damage. The metal basket has the patina a basket of this age would display. with no repairs.
