This has age wear and will not look new. Love the taupe/beige/drabware/brown color band on piece……..classic and so handsome!

A very rare signed Wedgewood creamware sugar bowl with lid (sucrier), in excellent antique condition. This piece is late dates to the late 18th century. ... moreThere are no chips, cracks, or repairs. I see the usual light crazing in the green colored glaze, both on the lid and bowl. The bottom has the Wedgewood signature impressed in capital letters. There might be an additional letter, but it is very light and I can’t make it out, possibly an “ A.” Again, a very rare sugar bowl, cream on cream color, in unbelievable condition!!!

Antique Wedgwood Queensware open rim Basket Tray early English Pottery Creamware Good looking early 19th century embossed signed"Wedgwood" Queensware ... morebasket and undertray. It displays nicely with some rather light damage. The basket has two very tight hairlines in the bottom corners from stress(they follow the curve of the bottom at each corner end) They do break the exterior glaze and measure about 4-5" but are not obvious. The base rim has 4 small chips and the tray has one small chip on the back edge. Otherwise fine. For the record there is a tiny nick off of a stilt mark on the edge of the basket as made and typical and a couple of tiny glaze rubs as you might expect. Overall, better than what normally turns up. ANTIQUE EARLY 19TH C. CREAMWARE RETICULATED CANDLESTICK CANDLE HOLDER NR
ANTIQUE EARLY 19TH C. CREAMWARE RETICULATED CANDLESTICK CANDLE HOLDER NR, A lovely antique creamware candlestick with hand cut reticulated decoration at the base and applied flowers and leaves on the double handles. Probably England or France- ca 1800-1820 This candlestick is charming and all handmade. The body is creamware and the candle holder stands 11 3/8" high. The circular base measures 5" in diameter and has cut out floral shapes. It has double handles that are decorated with small flowers and leaves. These are incredibly delicate and very intricate. The holder is fluted from the top down to the base. There are no maker's marks to positively identify this stick. But I've seen other examples like it and they have been designated as English in origin. Condition Considering how fragile it is. This candlestick is in good ... morecondition. There are some small glaze flakes to the top of the holder and at the edges of the base. One of the leaves of the floral bouquets has chipped(9th photo) There is a spot under the base where there is no glaze. I think this is an old repair, although it doesn't fluoresce under a black light(see 10th photo at about 7 o'clock) Guaranteed authentic, this is a great creamware candlestick offered at no reserve. Antique Creamware Oddfellows Odd Fellows Armorial Fraternal Mug 19th Century
This lovely old mug stands 3 5/8 inches tall and is 4 inches across the top. There is an applied strap handle. The design is painted over a printed design. There is a hairline that enters the design on the left side. There is flaking on the paint on the rim. The handle has brown spotting. That is the only damage that I can find. No marks to the base. As expected, and I don't know the maker. But it is British in origin. Probably post 1850, but again I can't say for sure. Might be a tad earlier. I guarantee everything that I sell. Antique Plate - Two Girls on Lawn - Pearlware? Creamware? English?
Here is a very old antique p late that I found at an estate sale. It has no markings as to the maker. It depicts two young girls on the grass lawn. And it looks like one of the girls is eit her combing the other one's hair. Or weaving a garland of roses into her hair. It mea sures 7" in diameter. There is a little impressed mark on the back. B ut it is impossible to tell what it is. There are no c racks. No chips- there is some light brown staining on the outer rim of raised flowers and leaves. However. The center of the plate with the de pic tion of the two little girls looks fine. I will start this auction at a low price because I don't know anything about this plate- age. Manufactu rer. English Creamware Compote w/ Pierced & Molded Edge c 1810
An English Creamware Compote decorated with a molded edge(plumes and swags) and pierced decoration. Both on the flat edge of the compote and on the bottom of the bowl. The bowl sits on a pedestal base and is a nice buttery color. No maker's markings, but it has the feel of the c. 1810 Wedgwood Creamware. The top is 9 ½" x 8" the oval base 5 ¼" x 3 7/8" and it is 2 ½" tall. Interestingly, the pierced bottom of the bowl resembles a Christmas Tree(making it, of course, the perfect Xmas gift! The piece is in very fine restored condition. There are no chips, cracks, lines, etc. some very minor nibbling on the foot rim) but the pierced center of the bowl appears to have restoration. It was done when I got it, so I cannot be exactly sure of what was restored, but it may have been some of the pierced decoration ... moreand perhaps some associated hairlines. The restoration is confined to this area of the base only, and does not extend to the edges, etc. A very eye-catching piece.

Enjoy this scarce size piece the way it is or a restorer could make it look perfect with little trouble. Personally, I would enjoy it the way it is. Please view my pictures for further condition. This auction will be No Reserve. Please contact me with any questions. Shippin is $12.00 in the lower 48 states. Satisfaction guaranteed. Good luck!

Antique English Creamware Ceramic enamel floral decorated pottery plate c1790
English Creamware purple monochrome enamel decorated feather-edge pottery square shaped serving dish. The enameling on the molded shell-edge is feathered carefully into the grooves. This dish is decorated in the manner of James Bakewell. An enameler who worked for Wedgwood from 1769-1777. Bakewell's signature decoration was of flowers painted in a very relaxed and flowing style in either the rose-purple monochrome or yellow and black enamel colors. He did sign some of his work with either a"JB" or a"B" painted in overglaze purple on the bottom. This dish is unmarked and we date it to c1790. It measures 10 inches long and is 7 1/2 inches wide. You can see a very similar dish on page 33 of Robin Reilly's book, Wedgwood The New Illustrated Dictionary. That one, however, is signed with a"JB. CONDITION: Restoration ... moreto glaze wear on the rim A LITTLE BACKGROUND: While cream-colored earthenware first appeared in Staffordshire sometime between 1730-1740. Production later spread to Derbyshire and Yorkshire and then to Europe. In the 1760s Josiah Wedgwood proved his genius for developing a superior material from a standard formula. After much experimentation with the addition of cornish Clay and China Stone, he is credited for literally"inventing" a new ceramic body. At first the Wedgwood version was known as Queens Ware but as other competitors joined the hunt the material became known generically as Creamware. Dishes similar to the one pictured here were also made at the Leeds Pottery in Yorkshire and also at that the Melbourne Pottery in Derbyshire. Please let us know if you have any questions. And. Antique English Creamware Whieldon style Pottery Tea Pot c1770-1775
Antique English Creamware Whieldon style tortoise glaze pottery Tea Pot. Enameled in brown manganese. The entwined rope handles end in floral terminals. The rim is beeded as is the foot. The spout is ribbed and molded. The lid has a beeded rim and a floral finial ending in molded leaves. c1770-1780 The spout, handle, terminals and floral finial are all attributed to the Leeds Pottery, see Donald Towner's book, Creamware, pages 191-211. Early Leeds creamware, that made before 1775, was a deep cream color with a yellowish glaze. When you take a look at the pictures above, you'll see that accurately describes the color of this tea pot. CONDITION: There are minor chips on the inner rim(note picture#7) and a rim chip on the foot(note pictures 8 and 9) This pot has not had any restoration. A little background on Creamware and the Leeds ... morePottery: Cream-colored earthenware first appeared in Staffordshire sometime between 1730-1740. Production later spread to Derbyshire and Yorkshire and then to Europe. In the 1760s Josiah Wedgwood proved his genius for developing a superior material from a standard formula. After much experimentation with the addition of cornish Clay and china Stone, he literally"invented" a new ceramic body. At first the Wedgwood version was known as Queens Ware but as other competitors joined the hunt the material became known generically as Creamware. Of all the potteries which existed in South Yorkshire in the 18th Century. By far the most important one was the Leeds Pottery. While there is some debate regarding the founding of the factory-some say 1760, others 1770-it is with some certainty that one can say that its first pieces were being produced by the end of 1770. While creamware was what the Leeds Pottery was known for, they also followed the pattern set by Thomas Whieldon, of making a great variety of different types of ware. Factory marks are exceedingly rare, so as with this pot, you will find most wares unmarked. AN IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SHIPPING: The domestic rates quoted a

Mocha Marbelized & Combed Creamware Tea Caddy Circa 1790 Staffordshire Beauty
Without a doubt. This is one of the finest pieces of mocha that we have handled in over thirty five years. It is a circular form tea caddy that is 4 1/2" tall and 3 3/4" across the base. It is marbelized and comb decorated in five colors of slip- blue, black, brown, brick red and tan on the cream colored ground. There is absolutely no flaking of the slip which is most unusual on a piece with this many colors of slip. Other than the chipping on the top of the collar that is not visible when the perfectly married and fitted lid is in place, there is no other damage. There are no repairs of any kind. This handsome piece was produced in England in the 1790- 1810 period and has an incised band around the foot and at the base of the shoulder. With the prices I see asked for much more common earthworm and cats-eye decorated tankards, this ... morewould seem a relative bargain at our opening bid and a fine addition to even the most advanced collection of mochaware. Please view my pictures for further condition. This auction will be No Reserve. Please contact me with any questions. Satisfaction guaranteed. Good luck!

Antique English Creamware Pottery Tea Pot, hunting scene, Wedgwood, c1775
Antique Ceramic English Creamware Pottery Tea Pot painted in enamel colors; on one side with a red-roofed house. Fence, trees and corn husks and on the other with a farmer walking with his rifle and with the red-roofed house in the background. The spout is molded at the base with acanthus leaves and the loop handle is ribbed. We attribute the Tea Pot to Wedgwood. Because of the pierced globe-knob(see Donald Towner, Creamware" pg. 207, fig 3) the use of which was typical of those found on Wedgwood pots and also because of the enameling which can be identified as the work of David Rhodes. The treatment of details and the colors used, red, black, green, rosy purple and yellow, in decorating this Tea Pot are both typical of Rhodes' work(see Donald Towner, Creamware" pg. 54 and"Creamware and other English Pottery at Temple Newsam ... moreHouse, Leeds" pg. 170) CONDITION: The tip of the spout was restored. There is also a minor hairline where the spout meets the pot(pictured in closeup) MEASUREMENTS: 6 1/2" High to the tip of the knop and 8" Wide from the tip of the spout to the widest point of the handle. RARE HUGE ANTIQUE CREAMWARE LIDDED TUREEN HAIRY PAW FEET SIGNED ENGLISH,FRENCH ?
I BOUGHT THIS LARGE STUNNING PIECE OUT OF A REALLY FINE OLD ESTATE SEVERAL YEARS AGO THAT WAS A COLLECTOR OF FINE EARLY POTTERY AND PORCELAINS FROM UPSTATE NEW YORK. DESPITE SOME FLAWS TO IT I BOUGHT IT AS IT IS EARLY AND A LARGE STUNNING PIECE THAT IM SURPRISED THAT BOTH PIECES SURVIVED TOGETHER ALL THESE YEARS. IT HAS IMPRESSED MARK UNDER BASE. IM UNSURE IF THIS IS ENGLISH OR FRENCH FAIENCE. I HAVE SOLD NUMEROUS ENGLISH CREAMWARE ITEMS OVER THE PAST SEVERAL DECADES AND THIS IS DEFINATLY THAT. IT HAS AN OFF WHITE COLOR AND HAS A MORE FAIENCE TYPE CLAY BODY. THOUGH IT HAS GOOD WEIGHT FOR ITS MASSIVE SIZE IT IS STILL MUCH LIGHTER THAN A IRONSTONE BODY WOULD BE. MARK UNDER BASE APPEARS TO BE FMC AND WHAT APPEARS TO BE AN A UNDER THAT. IM UNSURE OF THOSE LAST 2 LETTERS BUT F IS DEF THE FIRST. THIS IS AS FOUND AND UNTOUCHED WITH NO RESTORATIONS. ... moreA LOT OF HAND WORK WENT INTO THIS AS YOU CAN SEE INCISED DETAILS ON THE DETAILED CLAW FEET THAT HAS HAIR ABOVE THAT. SOME AGE GLAZE RUB WEAR. STAINS ON INTERIOR WITH SOME ON OUTSIDE OF BODY AT BASE OF BOWL. NO SLOT IN THE LID FOR A LADLE SO I BELIEVE THIS COULD BE A LARGE LIDDED FRUIT BOWL. IT HAS A VERY DETAILED PINEAPPLE FINIAL. A BIT OF WEAR AROUND ITS EDGES AND AT TIPPY TOP BUT NO LOSS TO THE BODY. ONLY ONE TINY FLAKE ON INSIDE LIP OF LID. BASE HAS GLAZE WEAR AT EDGE OF HANDLES NO CRACKS. MINOR INTERIOR EDGE FLAKE AND ONE VERY VERY SHORT TIGHT LINE ABOUT 1/2 INCH LONG. 2 FEET AT TOPS HAVE TIGHT LINES THAT I VERY STRONGLY BELIEVE ARE FROM ITS IN FIRING AS YOU CAN SEE SLIGHT CURVE INDENTS ON THOSE LINES THAT ARE CLEARLY GLAZED. AGE STAINS IN THOSE LINES JUST MAKE THEM SHOW UP A BIT MORE STRONGLY. EVEDENT CIRCULAR RINGS ON INTERIOR FROM BEING HAND CLEANED BEFORE GLAZING. SHORT FIRING LINE INBETWEEN 2 FEET IS ALSO CLEARLY IN MAKING. SOME MINOR GLAZE WEAR ON THE HAND INCISED COIN EDGE WORK. HANDLES.FEET AND FINIAL ARE SOLID CLAY AS I SEE NO BREATHER HOLES. IT MEASURES 14 7/8 HIGH TO FINIAL BY 13 1/2 WIDE INCLUDING HANDLES. IT WEIGHS 8 POUNDS. IN CERTAIN AREAS IN HAS SOME TINY

ANTIQUE CREAMWARE PLATE P.H. CHOISY EARLY 1800,S
JANVIER" JANURARY SEPIA TRANSFERWARE PLATE P& H CHOISY c1810 You are bidding on a very early 19th century transfer printed creamware plate. It is impressed on the back P& H CHOISY within a shield. Henn Workshops Pottery set of 4 Creamware Mugs with paperwork!
Hi! Welcome to my auction for a lovely set of 4 Classic Mugs from Henn Workshops' Creamware series. The Henn workshops stopped production in 2008. Making it's items very sought after and collectible. All that's left is their remaining inventory, and whatever people are willing to let go of on sites like eBay and other more specific collector websites and forums. The Creamware series is the most sought and most difficult to collect. That said, it should be collected by aficionados, not collecting dust in my condo! Collectors and pottery-philes. Lucky you! Due to the rarity of this series. I will not be breaking up this lot to sell pieces. I want this set to be some lucky ebayer's eureka! This lot comes with authenticity documents, but not the original packaging. Good deal! I'd take governance over packaging any day: Collectors. ... moreIf you'd like additional pics, message me asap. These are at my country home, so it will take time but bear with me. It is as important to me as it is to you that you have all the information you need to bid confidently. I am happy to combine shipping. Just let me know prior to your checkout. VERY IMPORTANT: All zero feedback bidders MUST contact me prior to bidding or their bid will be cancelled. I hate to seem rigid on this. But too many bad experiences during my short time as a seller have made this necessary. Please ask all questions prior to bidding! I am always reachable via ebay's messaging service. Happy Bidding! Posted with On Mar-18-13 at 22:30:03 PDT. Seller added the following information: All of the Henn items I have listed were purchased directly from a Henn Workshops agent when the company was still in operation and quality-checking their product and I am the original owner. THESE ARE NOT ITEMS FROM THE COMPANY'S CLOSING SELL-OFF PIECES.

Pictured is cream-colored ware, painted, printed and color glazed wares, stoneware’s ... moreand other pottery. Also included are pictures of dinner services, the remarkable Royal Dessert service, teawares, cabinet pieces, vases, baskets, ink stands, scent bottles, miniatures, and figures and busts. VINTAGE CREAMWARE OR YELLOWARE CHILDS PITCHER WITH EMBOSSED ANIMALS & CASTLE
This cute little piece is in good condition but dies have some glaze chipped off of its top edge mainly on one side of the spout. I have lots of photographs for you to see. It has some tiny overall crazing but there are no cracks. This piece is 2 7/8" tall to the top of the applied handle. 3 1/4" from the outer edge of the applied handle to the top of the spout and 3 1/4" across at ts most bulbous point. Though unmarked I feel like this piece is probably from the late 1800's. I believe the top glaze that is chocolate with blue swirls is called slip decorated. If anyone can identify this piece I would really appreciate a message. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. The winning bidder is to pay Parcel Post or Priority shipping, yor choice. Either method will include delivery confirmation. I never charge ... morea handling fee. Thank Yo! I believe that what they ha ve are factory seconds. Most of the pieces were scratched. Chipped or had obvious manufacturing defects. I picked the pieces that I thought were the best available. Having said that. Some of the pieces I got do have s omething small defects that I ... morediscovered after I brought them home so I have priced them accordingly. I sell on Ebay as a retirement hobby although I do treat everything about it seriou sly. I am satisfied with making a minimum of profit and am not concerned a bout the original price. Or in this case the factory seconds price. If you have a chance. Please check the feedback on the Henn items that I have already sold. If you have any questions at all. Please ask. GREAT WAR 1914 PITCHER POTTERY CREAMWARE CREAM WARE ADMIRAL ROYAL NAVY creamer
This is for a pitcher from a recent auction. It measures approx 4 1/4" tall. And has what appears to be Royal Navy commanders on opposite sides. I do not know who they are. The base has a stamp reading"published during the great war 1914" It appears to be creamware, and has some chips on the top edge either side of the handle, but there are no cracks, and the piece, when held in an open palm and tapped with a fingernail has a short but sharp high pitched tone. I am selling it as-is because of the chips. It is a rare piece of commemerative pottery that deserves a display.
