Here is a pair of fine antique Asian bronze vases or urns. Most likely Japanese or Chinese. Each features a motif of raised birds, tree limbs, flowers and leaves with clouds above the scene. Top neck features a raised design with a diamond patterned rim edge. The color is a deep and dark brown with scattered green patination to a dark chocolate brown near bases and top rim. There is a very minor impact mark to the flared area near bases(unnoticable without very close inspection) with minor impacts at the base rim, otherwise both are in VERY FINE +++ condition and much nicer than pictured. The detailing is fantastic with a great nature subject matter. Each measures just over 10" high with 6 3/4" wide top openings. I believe these date pre 1900 and are both unmarked. Pair French Empire Antique Spelter& Marble Urns Rams Description of item for sale: This special pair of urns is from France and they date to the mid/late 1800’s. The pair is in very good antique condition with only a chip on one marble base(see photo) The finish is a mix of a dark bronze color on the urn bodies with a dark silver color on the rams’ heads and legs. The patination is quite pleasing and we believe it is original with no refinishing. The urns are made from spelter and the bases are Carrera marble. Other than the marble chip. These pieces are entirely without damage. Dimensions: 13.5“ high, 7“ across at the handles, 4” deep.

This pair of french Ormolu mounted porcelain Urns/ Lamp bases with gilt base pedestals are vintage. Dates to the middle of the 20th century, possible earlier. Features vase shaped bodies with hand-painted Cameo portraits of Neo-Classical man and woman surrounded with geometrical and wreath motives gold painted. Have pineapple finials. Base has an arranged oppenning to accomodate lamps wiring. Each urn hand signed by the artist and'made in France' 24.5cm. 9" high. Condition- Some lost to gold coloring. Not critical. Creme body has some age patination. Needs some strengthening in the combined porcelain body and pedestal- easily to be fixed. Otheerwise very good conditon with no chips no cracks. Payment by Paypal. Pair Samson 19th Century Urns Vases in Chinese Export Style Gold Handles
These were made in the Chinese Export Style which means they were manufactured in France and had a fake Chinese mark on them. The French were trying to copy the Chinese in this instance. Quite ironic. Huh? These are in really good condition. I don't see any cracks, chips or areas of paint loss. The only thing is there is a loose screw in the bottom. The bases are screwed on. I am assuming this is original. The reason I think they are original to the vase is because the base swivels from the top and it is clear the base is a separate piece from the top. There are two marks. one that says"Made in France" and the other is the faux chinese mark. Note the neat heart design on one side. Very romantic. And they are very heavy. The only other condition issue to report is a loose bronze band or collar under the lid. This is best seen in photo#9. There is also a few minor chips on this rim. These tops are marked"MP Sevres" This pair of urns measure approximately 5 7/8" diameter at the base and are approximately 11" tall. Each base is marked, Made In France" They are bronze. Both pieces are in a unique form and are completely hand painted. The rims and handles are gilt. The front of each piece has an agricultural scene and the backs have sprigs of flowers. The undersides are marked with the George Grainger& Company mark that was used between 1889-1902. This pair is in fabulous condition. Especially for their age. There are a couple of tiny spots along the rim where the gilding has worn but there are no chips, no cracks, no splits and no repairs. A Pair of STEVENS BRUSSEL Allergorical covered urns. Artist sighned"CL Wagner" Belgium, Circa 1865, 17" High, and about 10.5" in Diameter. These are spectacularly appointed with Putti figures, animals, fruit and foliage. The glaze on the underside of the lids is a little spotty but this is in the making and firing, as it was intended to be. One has a slight lean to it, again, these are HAND MADE top to bottom!

Claus, France. They are fully hand painted and in the Meissen style, and both are extravagantly festooned with hand-formed and applied flowers and leaves. Each is topped with a similarly decorated lid, topped with a figure of a child. The colours are bright and vivid and they have the crossed swords mark for Claus and a 1777 pattern number. Each has had some restoration- the child with the umbrella finial has a repaired and repainted base and the lid has a large firing crack(on the interior edge and not visible when on display) It also has some gold wear to the lid's rim, and the base has a large ... morearea of restoration and painting to the upper rim and a firing crack to the outer shoulder. The other urn's lid has a similar interior firing crack, and the base has a similar repair to its rim as well(which also has a crack on the repaired area) Each urn has some minor expected chipping and losses to the flowers. This pair is in very good/reasonable condition with a good appearance, and they could be completely restored if desired. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. WE ARE OFFERING Antique Pair of Tall Porcelain Hand Painted French Sevres/ Meissen Style Covered Urns For your consideration is this lovely Pair of Antique Porcelain Hand Painted French/ Sevres/Meissen Style Lidded Urns. The Urns each measure approximately 17 1/2" tall. Measuring to the top of the lid covers, not including the finial. They are Cream or Antique White in color. With the Urn on the Left(in pictures) being a bit yellower. They each feature a handpainted portrait center and are handpainted on both sides, see pictures) with surrounding accenting gold work. They also include gilded bronze or brass ornate mounts. Each Urn has been dusted and lightly cleaned-there appears to be a bit of tape residue on the back of the right Urn-so they may need some finer cleaning. The gold colored metal brass mounts. Handles and trim, show age ... morewear with some of the gold color missing in various areas. Some of the gold gilt flower decoration is gray colored-not sure if its suppose to look that way for variation or has lost gilt over the years due to aging. The Urns may need more tightened from the bottom, as they are somewhat loose, but they are completely intact. Pair of Meissen– Samson Floral Urns Samson began his career by making service and set piece replacements in the late 1830’s. In 1845 he opened the ceramics firm Samson. Edmé et Cie at 7, Rue Vendôme(later Rue Béranger) in Paris, with the intention of supplying reproductions of ceramics on display in museums and private collections. The factory was moved to Montreuil, Seine-Saint-Denis in 1864 by Samson’s son, Emile Samson(1837—1913) The firm either drew inspiration from other factories, or directly copied their pieces. Designs from the factories of Meissen, Serves, Chelsea, and Derby were among the reproductions Samson, Edmé et Cie produced, along with designs copied from and all the major factories of England, France and Germany. During the eighteenth century. The market for fine china was considerable and Sampson’s firm ... morereproduced ceramics in a breadth of styles including the faience and majolica types of Italian pottery, Persian style dishes, Hispano-Moresque pottery(a blending of Islamic and European motifs, produced during the 13th to 15th centuries) plates in the Fitz Hugh pattern, as well as plates designed by his fellow Frenchmen, Bernard Palissy. Another frequent style copied by the Samson firm was the famille rose and famille verte styles produced in China between 1720 and 1790. Imari wares, named for the Japanese port where a type of richly decorated porcelain made at Arita was shipped, were also copied by Samson. What a great find. Fabulous Pair Of Antique Asian Bronze Urns/Vases With High Relief!
This is an absolutely incredible Antique Pair of identical solid Bronze urns or vases. That I found at a local antique store! I was told that these are from the turn of the century, which seems correct since I have never seen anything like these! Extremely heavy, super high relief carvings cover every inch of these solid Bronze urns! I am amazed at the artist who sculpted this pair and that the pair is even still together as a set! These are absolutely of Asian descent with what I believe to be peonies sculpted in detail! I was taught that placing peonies outside of your bedroom brings love into your life-which I am sure we could all use more of! These have removable lids that are also very detailed! The handles on each side of the urns remind me of the antique censors and are quite unique! I was super shocked at the weight of these pieces ... morewhich are very sturdy. They both stand correctly also. I could only find a couple very tiny imperfections.small"chips" to the relief; which most people don't even notice. I am amazed at how well these have survived history and would not be surprised to find out that they are actually much older than what I was told! I did photograph the"chip" so you can see what I believe to be a tiny imperfection on Outstanding Art that is RARE(photo#8) These are something that I would expect to see in a museum! I could not locate a signature, but these are so intricately sculpted that it could be hidden among the detail! These are 11 1/4 inches tall with their lids and about 9 inches without their lids! These are 3 1/4 wide at their base& are 5 inches wide at their widest point! They are 2 inches thick at the base& about 3 inches thick at their widest! This is a pair of decorative urns that are 12 unches tall and have no damage of any kind. I believe they are made of cast bronze. The urn part is in cobalt and gold.A fancy gentlenan and lady are mounted in the urn. The base is beautifully moulded and stands on 4 legs. There is a small house mounted in the base. The base also has very fine moulding. This certainly is a fine display piece that is shown of these items on the mantle.

Up for sale is this Gorgeous Pair of 19th Century Louis XVI Porcelain and Bronze Mounted Urns. They measure approximately 33 1/2" from base to tip of finial. And measure 9" at the widest point across. Attached are a pair of column-like handles which acorns sit atop, connected by a draped laurel garland. The bands around the top and the base are decorated with intricate scroll work and fan pattern, as well as a base wrapped with a laurel garland border. They are both a deep cobalt blue in color. The top has a removable finial of an acorn. They are both in excellent condition, however, one of them has a hairline crack around one of the necks, which is only visible upon inspection, and a small chip at one point of the crack. The other urn is in impecable condition with no cracks or chips, and both are in amazing shape especially for ... moretheir age. This is a beautiful and scarce Pair of c.1815-1820 Derby Pot Pourri Paw Footed Urns with Covers in Imari type decoration. The covered urns each stand approximately 5-1/2" tall to the top of the finial. The matched pair of Derby pot-pourri urns with covers each show the c.1815-1820 crown. Crossed batons and D mark in iron-red from the Robert Bloor& Co. period of Derby. Of squat waisted form. With a cone finial, the rims pierced, the rim of the bowl applied with four richly gilt masks, the bowl on four paw and leaf feet above a waisted square base with canted corners. The condition is great with o nly very minor wear to the gilt decoration and underside of the base(commensurate with age) Along with very minor, faint, crazing on the interior of one urn. Pair of Antique French Sevres Porcelain Turquoise / Teal Urns
This is a nice pair of antique French Sevres porcelain turquoise/ teal urns. They are in pretty good shape for their age with some imperfections more than I could picture but they are all similar to the ones pictured. They are slightly different as the pics show with some discoloration. One has had the finial repaired and imperfections like that shown in pics 11& 12 with some missing enamel and those scratched, they are not cracks. Also they will need a little tightening which I will let the new owner do. I believe they are 19th century adaptations even though it has the 18th century marking underneath as pic 10 shows but I will let you be the judge. This is a magnificent pair of Meissen Gilded vases circa late 18th century. A wonderfully crafted set that would be fabulous in any collection. Beautiful white porcelain with with gold accents on the leaves. Doves, and faun horned Man face. There is some mild wear to the vase appropriate to age. One dove has a repaired wing. One dove has the tip of wing broken off, one of the faun heads has a broken horn, the other faun head has a rub on the nose, and there looks to be a small repair to the base of one of the vases. Pair of antique hand painted porcelain vases or urns. Both pieces signed"H. Portevin" and feature a classic romance scene. Top and bottom are a striking deep royal or cobalt blue with gold decoration. Believed to have been made by Sevres. Each urn stands 22 inches tall and is 3 1/2 inches across the top and about 7 inches across the base. Pieces are in good condition. However both pieces have some light crazing. The urn on the right in the pictures has two small holes in it(See pictures) and a repair to the top portion, which also seems to lean to one side a bit. Also pictured. Pair Early Sevres Bisque Goat Head Urns
Here I have a pair of very early Sevres Bisque Urns with a goat head motif. They have a garland and fruit design on bodies. Each urn is hallmarked on base. They stand aprox 7.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide( largest size from outer goat heads) They have had restoration some time ago. A lot of the fruit& garland design has been worked on and there are still losses. The tip of one horn& on one urn the small section above base has had restoration. This is a beautiful pair of small German Dresden Floral urns. They are gorgeous little displays at only 6 inches high by 3 1/2 inches wide each. One is in excellent condition with only a few tiny nicks to a few of the floral bocage however the other one has a reglued lid and handle and each cherub is missing a limb. Few small nicks as well. They have small handles on either side and are decorated with tiny hand-painted roses. Leaves and forget-me-nots on both sides. The COALPORT name appears on the base together with the words BONE CHINA/MADE IN ENGLAND/EST. 1750. One bears the hand-written artist’s number 973 and the other 525 T. One is in perfect condition but the other has a broken petal on one of the roses. It’s not immediately obvious and anyway this can be turned to the back. Fortunately this double-sided quality means that you can still have a pink and a yellow rose at the front. Or two yellow, but not two pink!
