This lovely rose bowl has beautiful coloration in the glass with dark pink at the top shading to faint pale pink at the bottom with a satin finish. The glass is cased with a soft white interior. Antique Victorian Hand Enameled Bristol Glass Covered Bowl, Candy Dish, Jar
I get most of my items at estate auctions and sell them in an"as found" condition. I do no repairs or alterations. I do this in the belief that most buyers prefer to receive their items as original as possible. Because I get my items from anywhere and everywhere I can't guarantee they all come from smoke free environments. DESCRIPTION: The jar is in good condition with no chips or other damage. It does have a strange little opening at the bottom of the handle on the lid(see next to last photo) There is also something loose inside the lid but it's not glass but probably something that was dropped into it at one time. The hand painted enamel is unusually pretty and shows very little wear. Counting the lid the jar is about 8 1/8" in height. There are no maker's marks. In payment I accept PayPal. Almost certainly English in origin, and dating to around 1870- 1880. The bowl has a flat bottom. A scalloped edge detail, and the interior has a Chinese or Japanese figured garden scene in gilt- please see photos. Condition is overall very good. With no damage or repairs. The gilt decoration is extremely good with very little rubbing, and there is the expected light rubbing to the rim and base commensurate with age. The bowl has a diameter of just under 9" 22.5cm) and stand approx 2 1/2" 6cm) tall.

Old Pretty Victorian Style Silver Plate Bon Bon Bowl. It has a Beaded Edge and Nice Shaped Centre and was made in England c1910/20. A Lovely Silver Plate piece to hold all sorts of things like Sweets. Candy, Chocolates, Nuts etc. It measures 7 3/8 inches or 18.5 cms by 5 3/8 inches or 13.5 cms and is 4 1/4 inches or 11 cms in height. Set 3 Antique Porcelain China Victorian Handpainted Fluted Bowls Spectacular set of three intricately handpainted fluted. Footed bowls, one large one and two small matching ones. All three pieces of the set are painted in the extremely popular roses pattern of the late Victorian years, elaborated detailed in gold gilt. The large piece measures 5 ½-inches across and stands 3-inches high and the two small pieces stand 3-inches across by 1 ½-inches tall. The two smaller fluted bowls are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The large bowl has a clumsily repaired leg– please see photo. The large piece weighs 8.3 ounces and the weight of all three pieces is almost 12 ounces. The gilt is worn in places. As would be expected of such old pieces. They are not marked on the base. MERIDEN B COMPANY PLEASE enlarge the photograph(s) to get a good look at the condition& detail. Very rare find with so many pieces. Exquisite Meriden Napkin Ring Caster, with salt dip. Pepper shaker and cruet. Adorned with floral and scrolling motif, and in very nice vintage condition. The cruet has the smallest chip in the lid. At the point that is furthest inside the bottle. So does not show. Very close inspection shows cruet has no other chips or cracks. Inside slightly cloudy, especially the bottom. Both cruet and lid have"47" etched on the bottom. Do not see any dings or dents on the salt bowl. Or pepper shaker. Top of pepper shaker comes on and off with ease. Neither of these is hallmarked. The stand is fabulous. Harker 1840 China bowl Old Orange Flowers Gold Trim Vintage Victorian ? Antique
Harker Bowl-Measures about 2.5" tall-Measures 8.25" across-It is marked Harker 1840 on the bottom! It has gold trim. But it is starting to wear off at the very edges and raised ruffle type places. This dish shows it age. Which gives it character! I have cleaned it with regular dish soap and it still has stains on it. I am not sure if you could use something else to get them out or not. There is one chip which can be seen in the photo. It is under the top rim of the bowl. There is one place where it is like a hairline crack. I can't feel it. But I can see it, I took a photo. Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Bowl / Basket in Brass Holder
This is a more unusual piece of Cranberry. Which comes in two parts: a red glass bowl and a brass basket in which the bowl sits. The bowl has an upper diameter of 10.6cm and is 6.8cm high. You can see that the glass is mouth-blown from the small bubble enclosures and impurities. The glass is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The bowl is made of a network of brass acorns and oak leafs with a hinged handle on the top. It stands on three legs, and with the handle in its upright position the basket is ca. 16cm high. The metal was once silvered, but the plating has all but worn off. The piece sports a registration pattern number for 1892. This is a J Rogers Silver Co. piece. I believe it is silver plated since I do not see it marked sterling any where. It is a figural sugar bowl. Also known as a Victorian spooner. A footed sugar bowl with a spoon rack on the outside. There is one handle on each side with intricate detail. Around the middle is an intricate floral detail. On top of one of the spoon racks it is marked"PAT. NOV. 13-1923" On top is a bird. The tip of it's beak is bent/crooked. And the tip of one of the tail feathers is broken. There are a few marks and signs of it's age and use, as well as some discoloration. I tried to show all flaws in the pictures. Over all I still think it to be in very god condition as wel as a very unique piece. To the very end of the bird it would measure about 10 inches long. Nice little vintage collection of victorian majolica to include two small round 5 3/4 inch bowls. Predominately turquoise and green with a pink center flower, some edge and surface wear to the glazes, typical crazing and one's slightly darker than the other, The brown and green leaf dish is about 7 inches and other than a couple of small glaze misses on the surface is amazingly perfect. The fourth and stylized leaf dish almost 8 inches long and predominately turquoise with brown has a couple of small chips to the underside and I notice an even smaller chip on an upper edge however the piece displays beautifully regardless and small imperfections should be rather expected on this type of softer pottery and they will age from between 120 and 150 years old give or take a few years so it's hardly surprising.Low opening bid and no reserve.Actual ... moreshipping charges only apply and can be calculated or seen on the auction page. Punch bowl is 6 1/2 inches deep and 13 1/2 inches in diameter; base is about 7 1/4 inches high and 7 1/4 inches in bottom diameter; and cups are 2 inches high and 2 7/8 inches in diameter. Total height of punch bowl on base is about 13 1/4 inches. The punch bowl has a small chip on one of the points on the rim(pictured) which is hardly noticeable. The stand itself is missing the very top tip but is in excellent shape except for that. There are grapes and rams heads featured on the stand. BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN ROSES RIMMED SOUP BOWL UNKNOWN MAKER. UNKNOWN NUMBER This came from my late Aunt's estate and is very old. Most likely from her Mother or even her Grandmothers china. There is a mark and number on the bottom but both are fairly unreadable. I took a guess at the number on it but I may well be wrong. It appears to be from the Victorian Era and has a pretty pattern of roses, leaves and smaller purple flowers around the rim and down into the bowl itself. It does have a few defects.there are a couple of chips& pit marks all on the underside that cannot be seen from the top. Some scratches in the glaze from use and smudging. It has a gold trim edge at the rim that is pretty worn but still makes the bowl stand out nicely. Victorian Antique Cut Glass DISH BOWL on footed stem. Pickles, Sweetmeat. vgc
A large and substantial, 19th century cut glass bowl on heavy foot and stem. This is an individually mouth-blown. Handmade piece. A stunning centrepiece. Possibly intended for pickles or sweetmeats. Over-large for an individual bowl. Could be used as a rose bowl. Would make a great addition to a Victorian glass collection! The base and stem are plain; the bowl is of clear glass. With deep cutting in a simple style. Ovals and narrow leaf-shapes. The bowl and the foot ha ve been joined at either end of the stem. All the glass is of a substantial thickness. Appropriate to the size of the item. There are one or two very tiny bubbles in the glass, and a larger one. Just off-centre, in the base which can be seen looking down through the stem. The bowl is certainly hand-made and has som e age to it. There is a realistic amount of very fine grazing ... morearound the edge of the base. A great piece to acquire for a 19th century collection. The rim is no t quite smooth. But not rough or sharp either; it feels. With the fin g ernail. As though it is lightly ri dged on one side. Manufacturing fault? This brides basket is stunning! Its incredible! It has three figural. Cherub winged putti and they are holding on to the middle of the lower part of the basket.They are nude except for a tiny leaf covering their fronts.Their back sides are showing. The bottom of the basket has a leaf in the middle and their toes are attched to it. The bowl of the basket is flutted all the way around. When you look at it from the top it looks just like a flower. The center of the silverplate bowl has a scene on two diffrent sides. On one side there is a house and trees and mountains. On the other side there is flowers and leaves and a tiny blue bird. This piece has so much going on.No damage to the piece we can find and the silverplate seems to be 85 per cent there maybe more. The mark is under the tiny leaf and hard to read but i know what it is it says Rogers ... moreand Brothers Tripple plate and in the middle of a circle it has a hand with lightning coming from it, it's very worn and I'm sure there was a number but I can not read it. This mark dates it to 1860. This piece was professionally sealed years ago to keep from cleaning it so often. It is starting to turn dark in some places. The sealer can be removed easy with hot water. The bowl inside is carinival glass, green is the base color then looking at it it has many colors pink, purple,dark blue,gold, A lot of color hews. The only damage i can find to the bowl is a tiny sliver chip on one of the flutted areas on the rim. Hard to film. No maker mark on the bowl. The AF in my title is for AS FOUND. This truly gorgeous antique bowl has a hairline crack which is well hidden in the decoration and the shaping of the bowl. You are purchasing this lovely piece knowing this condition. The outstanding shape is rather like a huge blooming flower. Or perhaps a multi lobed shell. The footed base is gilded, as is the rim. There is mottling of gold inside and out, also. The bottom of the bowl has an English registry cartouche as well as a crown mark under which is a banner that says ROYAL. Below is the word Adderley. The may be the progenitor of the currently active“Royal Adderley” bone china manufactory, or it could be an original Ridgways company. The Bowls are of exceptional quality made of the finest Pure White Porcelain. The Bowls are also completely Hand Painted with the finest details I have ever seen. The Eagle Armorial and T family Monogram appear to be American and possibly ... morefrom an important dinner service that was commissioned. The Armorial is certainly worthy of looking into as I am sure not just anyone could have afforded to have had a service like this commissioned. The Bowls are each Hand Signed in Red on the bottom for the Important Paris Studio of M. Lerosey on the well known Rue de Paix in the French Capital which opened in 1880. Although the artist himself was well into the porcelain business earlier and had many ventures with other prominent porcelain workers during the 1800's. I am told the mark dates the Service to the period of 1880-1890. The Bowls are in excellent all original condition, some showing some wear but certainly no chips, cracks or repairs.
