It has a very nice Detailed Decoration round the edges of the bowl and it's base and a beautiful Pierced Design to give it such an attractive Finish. Lovely little Victorian sterling silver footed bowl. It has a ridged pattern all the way roun d. And a bla nk oval in the centre th at could be engraved. It has a partial hallmark of the lion passan t and the Queens head duty mark. So I know it dates from before 1890. The rest of the hallmark has worn away. The bowl has been acid tested as sterling silver. It is in very good co ndition. Apart from one tin y hole just to the top left of the hallmark. There are no dents and just slight surface scratches. Nice little vintage collection of victorian majolica to include two small round 5 3/4 inch bowls. Predominately turquoise and green with a pink center flower, some edge and surface wear to the glazes, typical crazing and one's slightly darker than the other, The brown and green leaf dish is about 7 inches and other than a couple of small glaze misses on the surface is in near perfect condition. Here is a nice jam/ preserve spoon with engraved bowl which I'm guessing is probably Victorian. It's quite heavy for its size. Made of electro plated nickel silver(EPNS) and has a pretty mother of pearl handle. It needs cleaning- I seldom clean metals before offering them for sale as I prefer to leave this up to the buyer who may wish to keep the patina. Overall length is 6" Excellent condition. No sharpness on the bowl or movement in the handle. Spitoon shaped, Victorian Art Glass Bowl- decorated with bright white raised enamel DAISIES with yellow centers, gold& brown shaded leaves, gilded accent sprigs- repeated 3 times around the bowl, separated with a band of white beading. Measures: 7.125" across, 3" high edge. Condition: Very Good ++ There is a shallow inner rim flake- photo#10. And a couple inner rim nicks, a tiny scrape on the center of one of the daisies- photo#2. Overall, the enamel is in Excellent condition. Lots of tiny bubbles in the glass. Wear to the gilding- may have had a gold rim- mostly worn away. All mentioned for accuracy- a perfect fit in the frame- very likely original. The Silver Plated Frame measures 10.5" across ... morethe handles. Has a 4.5" wide honecomb hammered platform base, it stands 6" high on 4 fancy reticulated legs. The shape of the bowl is unusual in that there are four indentions on the sides for the silver plate grape cluster to fit into. The bowl is original to the holder and measures about 8 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall. The insert stands 6 inches tall to the top of the grape cluster on the rim and 7 inches wide. Edging the top of the bowl is an ormolu bronze design with twisted bronze handles on either side. With flowers and red gemstones. This piece is in very good condition and measures 8 3/4in from handle to handle x 5 1/4in wide x 5 3/4in tall, without the handles. The top opening is 4in x 5 1/2in oval. The handles add another 1 1/2in each.

ANTIQUE HAND PAINTED RUFFLED CASED PINK GLASS RINGED HOLDER VICTORIAN BRIDE'S BASKET A lovely. Original, antique Victorian Bride's Basket with a cased, ruffled, pink& white Blown Glass Insert. The glass bowl is hand painted with green& orange leaves and gold flowers. The metal holder has three feet and scrolls with three arms that are decorated with hanging rings, leaves, and berries. The metal base has something inscribed, underneath, but I can't make it out. The glass bowl measures approximately 10 1/4" in diameter x 3 7/8" high(at the tallest ruffle) On the stand it measures approximately 7" high. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks to the glass bowl. The glass does have some loss to the hand painting. The metal holder looks good with only minor wear to the finish. Handsome antique majolica bowl. 19th century, of stylized floral form centering a water lily surrounded by lily pads and seaweed motifs, finished in a high glaze in tones of white, red, and dark gray-green, the bottom with impressed mark, approx. 5.75 in. in diameter. Usual stilt marks to underside, a few tiny rough spots to glaze on underside of rim(quite minor and not affecting body) and some very fine, nearly imperceptible crazing, otherwise fine, with no cracks or chips. A distinctive. Lesser-seen Victorian majolica form in striking colors. Though I was unable to identify the mark(which is only partly distinct) it appears to be a cross, stylized flower, or snowflake. P olished pontil on the bottom. Bowl rim has no chips. Hairline breaks or mineral deposit. Glass does react neon green. 2-5/8" tall with a 5" diameter rim. This type of glass can be seen in the"Decorative Victorian Glass" book from Cryil Mannley on page. 61, example#64. Author also comments on this same example shown in the book that he believes this is a Frederick Carder design while he was working at Stevens and Williams. On page 33. Author explains Silveria as a type of glassware which has particles of mica or silver and are trapped between layers of glass, see 93-5 for examples, as described. Example 93, on page 63 is the same ... moretype of glass blown in the vase that is also the same colour as the rose bowl. He comments for the#93 example that it is cased with Rockingham crystal, and is a forerunner of Silveria. Wooden base is not included. It is an exceptional example with bold wildflowers on the open handles. The four feet are figural faces of Bacchus. The god of wine. The frame is made to hold an oval shaped bowl. It measures 11/4" high, 7 1/2" across and 5 3/4" wide. It will accept a bowl 5 3/4" long and 3 3/4" wide. The bottom has the Rogers Brothers quadruple plate mark and is numbered"228" The frame is in very good estate condition with no damage or repairs noted. The original patina is just beautiful. The frame holds an oval insert in the Early American Pattern Glass"Shell and Tassel" design. It was made by George Duncan and introduced in 1880. This is a beautiful brides basket with an ornate quad plate frame by Wilcox Silver Plate Company. The frame is 8 ¾ inches tall and 9 ½ inches wide. The bowl was made by Stevens& Williams and is peachblow. The bowl is hand blown. Is 8 ¾ inches in diameter and 2 ½ inches high. It has an amber border. This set dates to the late 19 th century. The bowl is in excellent condition with no damage. The frame has no damage but it has lost some much of its silver as is common with quadruple plate.

Victorian Bohemian Spatter Art Glass Bowl w/ Silver Plated Stand Description: The stand is marked and is from James Deakin and dates from around 1871-1898. Stand is 5" tall. The holder for the bowl is 3-1/8" diameter and the base is 4-1/2" diameter. Art Glass bowl is cased glass. Interior is opaque white and the exterior is a spatter decor of blue. Green and brown. Shape is unique and the rim reminds me of the edge of a scalloped s hell. Glass is not marked. And beli eved to be Bohemian. Harrach. As a possibility. Antique Victorian Huge English Wash Bowl Water Pitcher Aesthetic Blue Transferware HARVEST by Della Robbia Lovely and large water pitcher made by a not so well known North Staffordshire potter called Della Robbia Co. They were only in existence from 1894 until 1901. Located in Birkenhead. The pattern name"HARVEST" is printed on the bottom of the pitcher. The center swatch is indeed that of some workers in the field with flowers and stems projecting through it and around it. On the back side of the pitcher, the scene is repeated but in a smaller size. Between the two scenes there is a small sprig of flowers and leaves. This pitcher has a segmented melon shaped body. Scalloped top and rope handle. The pitcher measures 11-1/2" tall and about 8" wide(across the widest part of the body) This is the size you would find with ... morea wash basin bowl! Would look so nice in a cottage decor or at a bed and breakfast. The pitcher is in excellent condition! If I didn't know its age and only looked at its condition. I would think it was nearly new! There are no chips or cracks or crazing. The only very minor thing I see are some light grayish marks along the rope handle which appear to have been done in manufacturing, perhaps thinner paint coverage. Also, a few craze lines on the bottom exterior of the pitcher and a few inside the pitcher, only on the surface. The pitcher is immaculately clean, inside and out. The glaze is nice and shiny. A true beauty!

Swag and ribbon decoration incorporating two vacant bordered circular cartouches to either side. It has a very unusual impressed mark(please let me know if you are familiar with it.I've managed to get a pretty good picture) Overall condition is very good with no chips or cracks however there are some minor surface scratches to the glaze consistent with age and use. The bowl measures 1 21/2" across from outer handle to outer handle and 8 1/2" across its center point. From the highest/center point top edge to base rim measures 3" along the outside surface.
