The top ... morehas the rough surface on it and it seems more child size than regular size. The colors. Style of painting, gilding and the paste lead me to believe it is by Nymphenburg but it is hard to be 100% on a piece like this though it is definitely German and from this period. The piece is not marked but that would be normal on a piece like this. It is in perfect condition. The thimble is 0.75 inches tall and 0.625 inches in diameter. Rare HUGE Antique Sevres Vion Baury French Paris Porcelain Man Figurine Figure
This is a beautiful rare large hand painted porcelain figure created in France circa 1870-90. He is very heavy weighted and a large size at 19 1/4 inches high by 7 inches wide. And weighs a whopping 11.12 lbs. The green anchor mark of the Vion& Baury factory has worn away, but is partially found on his lady mate listed in my separate listing. His face is very finely handpainted and he is walking in the meadow holding a baby goat as the momma goat looks up lovingly. This figure displays very well however the momma goat has one broken ear and the bottom of his scruff and the baby goat has one broken ear. There is a shallow chip on the back bottom base and the pink flowers are chipped on top. There is a tight hairline on the back of the figure near the bottom and also under the base. It is very tight and the figure feels very solid. Superb ... morefigure for the collector! He is a superb example for the collector and has a lady mate in the last picture that will be offered in a separate listing. If interested please take a look. Here is a spectacular 18th C. Vincennes-Sevres poly chromed gilt reticulated plate. Dates to 1751-1753. With the double L mark with no letter puts it in the 1751-1753 production time line at Vincennes. It measures 10 1/4 in diameter. It is in spectacular condition, NO damage or repairs, a true Sevres collector piece. The last 3 photos I show the other almost identical plate with this one that's for sale. The smaller one is NOT for sale yet and its not included in this listing. The smaller plate has the A in the double L which makes that one made in 1753-1754 production. Attractive late 19th century gilt mantel clock. Unusual design with barley-twist pillars and superb Sevres-style porcelain dial. Movement by Japy Freres, professionally cleaned and serviced, fine working order. This is a very nice example of a late 19th century mantel clock in an unusual design with barley-twist pillars to each corner. It features a particularly nice Sevres-type porcelain dial. And a two-train bell-striking movement by Japy Freres which has been professionally cleaned and serviced. The case is a heavy. Solid design in gilt spelter, signed to the reverse by one of the best-known case-makers of the period, P H Mourey of Paris. As well as the decorative pillars, the case is topped by a bust of a veiled lady and floral garlands. To the front, the dial is in the classic Sevres blue. Each roman numeral in royal blue is set in a ... moreraised white cartouche, each with a fine gilt foliate border. The central mask is surrounded by'pearl' dots, and in the centre is a beautifully painted polychrome foliate garland. The dial is very good quality indeed, and the hands are equally superb, finely cut and engraved filigree ormolu. The movement is marked to the backplate with the'medaille d'honeure' roundel for Japy Freres. Dating it to around 1890. Two-train, it strikes the hours and half hours on a brass bell. It has been completely dismantled, professionally cleaned, reassembled and serviced. It is in excellent working order, keeping good time. SIZE: It stands 13.5 inches high. 8 inches wide and 6.5 inches deep. CONDITION: The case has been dismantled. Cleaned, parts tidied with a little gilt wax where appropriate and reassembled. There is a signature I can't quite make out out looks like"Debrie" The plate is in good condition with the exception of 2 small chips on the backside. It's marked on the back with the green. Oval Sevres mark with S.46. in the center, indicating it was fired in 1846. There are additional Sevres decorator marks on the back, indicating that the plate was decorated in 1846. Plate measures 9 5/8" wide.

Vtg Signed French Sevres Porcelain Hand Painted Floral~22"~Lamp heavy gold accents Offering this absolutely stunning old French Hand Painted porcelain Floral 22" tall electric Lamp with frosted glass shade and round etched glass"bulb" shade loaded with gold ormalu trim and very ornate base. I have researched the mark and I do believe it is from Sevres or Vincennes. See photos of the bottom of lamp to see the deep cobalt blue mark plus the words"modele et de'coration exclive a'la main" Which is difficult to see clearly because of the base of the lamp support. Two of those supports are embossed"B7" and"B15" which shows in the photos. Base also has a blue decal that reads"Underwriters Laboratories. Inc. Listed Portable Lamp issue no. 89,632" Please take time to view the photos ... moreto appreciate the highly detail decoration on this beautiful lamp which I would call in excellent condition. The floral design is perfect, it was fired on and then I believe glazed so it has maintained its quality. The gold is very strong on both the metal fret work at the top, the embossed gold floral vines and blossoms on the ring that the round shade rests upon is very nice, all the gold trim on the lamp base is perfect, and the scroll base remains rich with gold. I believe the lamp was made in the 1930-40 Era because of the cord with a on/off switch. One side reads"und. lab inc. list" other side reads"Levitron 6A 125 v. 3A.250 v. 3A.125 VT and works. The bulb housing however is made for a thin base or candelabra base bulb and that area or the pit the bulb base come out of is the only part of the lamp that is discolored with dark marks and looks like there is some wear from the round shade which is held in place by a tongue dispenser like thin metal on each side that must be pinched together to get the shade in place and the reverse to remove the glass shade so the shade sets very secure on the lamp. Vintage Sevres style DRESSER BOX Porcelain Cobalt & Gold w/ Cherubs Putti on Lid

Porcelain Cobalt& Gold w/ Cherubs Putti on Lid Maker: Has a Sevres-like hallmark but is probably made by someone else. I am not familiar enough to know for sure. Hallmarks: The bottom has a blue hallmark of the twin“L’s” and an“R” inside. Above that is a three dot triangle. Pattern: Simply gorgeous hand painted cherubs/Putti on the top of the lid. Done in pastel colors with a soft blue and white background. The faces are professionally painted. I’ve looked at hundreds of pieces to see if I can say for sure that this one is or is not(I think it is not) Sevres and many of the imitations have badly painted figures and faces. The sides of both base and lid have a deep cobalt blue background with gold paint. The flowers are flat but the stems. Shield-like ... morepieces and the dots are raised. The insides are pure white. Size: It is about 6” round with the top opening of 5” and the ring that sits on the table is 3-3/4” round. The lid is about 5-1/2” round. The bottom is 2” tall and with the lid on. It is about 3” tall. Total weight is 1.8 pounds. Features: There is a brass collar around the opening of the base. This collar has a small piece on its side(see photo#10) which looks like a 3/8” long solid tube– no openings. Since there is no sign of a corresponding piece on the lid. I’m baffled at its purpose. Inside the gold circle that surrounds the cherubs on the lid there are tiny raised dots– a bit bigger than the gold dots that are painted on the blue. I’m not sure what they are made of but they are painted gold. Some puzzle as to its maker but the design is intricate. The quality is evident and the painting is very professional Personalization: No personalization. Condition: The painting of the cherubs has two flaws– both I think were in the manufacturing. The Clock has its original quality movement which is signed by the fine period French maker Japy Freres. When I picked up the clock at the estate is was in good working order. And rings on the half and full hours. To be safe for the auction I will assume the clock may need a servicing or light cleaning to keep perfect time, which I am sure has not been done in some time. The Clock itself is in very fine condition showing very light wear to the panels, and no chips, cracks, missing pieces, or repairs. The Clock displays beautifully measuring 12 ½ inches wide, by 5 ½ inches deep, and sits 14 ½ inches tall. You rarely see examples of this truly superb period quality come up for auction. These Yellow Roses are just sumptious. This is a beautiful Bavarian Hand Painted plate but I could not find an artists signature. The plate is 9 3/8 inches across not including the handles which make it 10 1/4 inches across and has a gold trim around the edge. It is in excellent condition with no other damage. Welcome. Bidding is for a wonderful old Sevres box. Probably for powder, possibly for trinkets. The base is porcelain and the lid is porcelain with a metal filigree. Overall. The box is 6" tall from the doll's head to the base of the bottom. Just the box is 2 1/4" tall and is 4 1/2" in diameter. The filigree and doll can be removed for shipping. Rare Antique Jacob Petit French Paris Porcelain Mantle Clock Case Gilt Sevres
This is a superb beautifully hand painted floral and gilt clock case created circa 1850-90 by the Jacob Petit factory of France. It has a turquoise blue base with gold gilt raised decoration and a lovely colorful floral spray on the front. Overall excellent condition with no major breaks or repairs. Gilt has some wear and also the blue paint mostly to the backside. There is a small firing line in the inner rim of the open clock case in the upper left and a nibble to the right side. The firing line occurred in the make. There is some porcelain material on the bottom of the clock case between the upper part and the base that I believe is original and how they merged the two pieces. Both bear the blue underglaze J.P. marking. Measures almost 12 inches high by approximately 8 inches wide and is very heavy weighted! Amazing! Pair of 19thC Antique FRENCH "SEVRES" PORCELAIN URNS Bronze Figures
This is an unbelievable pair of antique 19thC Sevres urns. Heavy gold gilt bronze mount decorated with four nude women on base of each. Winged cherubs for handles and a child for top finial. Also heavy gold gilt bronze base and other ormolu. Beautiful hand painted scenes on front and backs of each. One side depicting children learning with books. One holding compass, a world globe and scrolls on one and the other has children as artist painting with canvas. The other sides have hand painted portraits of women with cherubs surrounding each portrait draping fabric. Both are in great condition except the porcelain cap of lid on one has been replaced many years ago with a carved wood lid that is painted to match original. It still has original child finial. This is a great restoration, obviously done by a professional. Like I said. Could have ... morebeen done in the late 19thC. There are no other nicks. Chips, cracks or repairs to either. Each one measures 10" tall to top of finial. Bases each measure about 4" x 4" square. I have not disassembled to see if these are marked. I do believe they are Sevres. Wonderful Sevres urns! Up for bids is this Antique Late 19thC Authentic Sevres Porcelain Portrait Plate Of Woman In Mansion. This plate was made during the late 19thC in France by Sevres. This fine Sevres portrait plate depicts a scene of a woman sitting in a highback chair at a dining table with a fringed tablecloth. On the dining table there is a plant in a silver bowl. A statue and a covered compote. The background are two large paintings one of two women and a man kneeling in front of one woman. There are sheep in the background and the other painting on the right is of a castle on the side of a mountain. There is a magenta sofa with gold fringe behind the woman. The center scene is surrounded by a cream color and gold gilt leaves and garland done exquisitely. The artists signature is on the lower right hand side of the hand painted center scene. We can not ... moredecipher the signature but it is dated 1891 and the piece is truly by a master. The plate has the Sevres mark on the back as well as a small gold sticker saying: Gift of Nina C. Mackall. Georgetown University. Nina C Mackall, perhaps the last of the"grande dames" of Saucon Valley in Lehigh Valley Pennsylvania. Home of Bethlehem Steel where her brother was a Vice President and whom she shared a 33 room mansion, traveled abroad and picked up antiques in her travels and brought them home. The Mackalls were not natives of Lehigh Valley, they came from an old Virginia family whose roots went back to the early 18th century. They lived in Georgetown, now a part of Washington, D.C.
