This is a Beautiful Antique German Dresden Muller Volkstedt Lace Lady Porcelain figure. She is seated in a chair. The figure is beautifully detailed with a pink lace dress, and there are several gold roses applied to her dress. She also has a lot of gold painting details on her dress as well as detailing the chair and fan that she is holding in her hand. Condition is very good with no cracks. Chips and repairs on her body. There is some very minor lace loss(as shown on the photos) but nothing that distracts the eye, and nothing out of the ordinary with these very delicate figurines. Please. Florence Ceramics Figurine Fair Lady, Porcelain Lace Like Decoration As Found
This AS FOUND Auction is a figurine of a woman who strongly resembles a Gibson Girl and is titled Fair Lady. Since the figurine is on a white platform trimmed in flowers. I assume she is to represent an entertainer. The figurine is about 11-1/2" tall and is wearing a long pink gown which has a white fabric insert, heavily trimmed in what appears to porcelain lace. The gown is a fitted off the shoulder style with full cap sleeves. It has a bustle in the back. The figurine has painted fingernails and flowers in her hair. This figurine is sold as found for two of her finger have damage and some off the flowers are missing petals. She is a white top with pink ballet dress and colored flowers on white lace and gold pointe shoes. Her hair is in black with a white and gold crown. Sculpture stands on pedestal decorated with gold arabesques. Genuine texture of porcelain beautifully resembles ballerina’s body. artist markings are located on the bottom of the dress. unfortunately the bottom layer of the dress is missing a piece that is very hard to notice. One or two of the flowers might be missing I assume that it would be attached to one of the leaf's. Over all this is a great treasure to enjoy and has survived all these year's as fragile it appears. This delicate antique German lace figurine is 6" long x 4" wide x 4 1/2" tall. It was made in Germany by the Aelteste Volkstedter Porzellanfabrik AG and bears the appropriate mark for the period between 1899 and 1912. Per the AeV marks table. A Victorian lady is dressed in a flowing porcelain lace gown accented with flowers. Her suitor is knelling on his knee as he asks her an important question and she is evidently refusing. The base and sofa are trimmed in gold. The woman's right arm has been reglued above the elbow and the hand is missing. The little finger is missing from the other hand. The man is missing lace from the left sleeve and jabot. A small amount of lace is missing from the ladies dress and there may be a missing flower petal or two. Vintage Dresden Porcelain Lace Figurine An adorable figurine of a young girl wearing a lacy pink dress and a yellow bonnet. Measures approx 5-3/4" tall. Oval base measures about 3.5" by 2-1/4" There is a repair on the pole( see pic. 11) Also. Some of the pink porcelain lace has chipped off the back( see pic. 10) and also found a few areas on the front of the dress( see last 2 pic. for close-ups. we are pleased to offer you from our collection an old and rare sitzendorf porcelain lace ballerina figurine. Marked in the bottom sitzendorf as you see in pictures, in very good condition for it's age with minor lace loss it's normal for this material of porcelain, and there is a small chip in the tip finger as you see in pictures, very amazing and delicate work. size: 13cm. high X 12cm long X 9cm wide. please see more in my other listings.
