This was my bassoon all through high school. And college(The University of Alabama) My private instructor in high school, which is also the bassoon instructor at Auburn University, picked it out for me. It has been re-padded, and plays exceptionally well with a very rich tone. The bocal is a Fox C2(fairly new) It does require a cup strap, but that is included. Also included, is my unused Fox starter reed making kit. I don't play anymore, and I don't see why it shouldn't be getting used.

Antique Vintage Set (23) Road to Paris 1930s Quilt Blocks, Great Fabrics! NR
This is a great set of 1930's quilt blocks in the pattern called"Road to Paris. It's supposed to be a design looking up through the Eiffel Tower. So the story goes. These came through a family, originally from Essie Johnson of Olympia, WA. I am hoping that someone would like to have them to make a quilt. There are 23 blocks, measuring about 10 1/2" I noticed a few were a little bit smaller, but not by much. I did want to mention that, however. They do lie quite flat and are machine pieced. There are some fabulous 30s prints in this set! Actually. Personally I prefer machine-pieced blocks over hand-pieced, simply because it makes a stronger quilt. There are a few blocks with small spots as pictured in the last photo. The spots may or may not come out. They look like they might come out okay, but I can't promise. It would ... morebe fairly easy to replace the solid light pink, if not. Also, if more blocks are needed for the quilt you have in mind, more could be made from either vintage fabric scraps, reproduction 30's fabric, or solid fabrics. Nice Antique French Brass Carriage Clock in Case R & C Paris (Restoration) c1880
This nice antique carriage clock was manufactured by R& C of Paris. France. The brass clock measures 4-3/8" tall(not including the handle) x 3-1/4" wide x 2-1/2" deep. The brass casing is in good undamaged condition and none of the beveled glass panels are damaged. The main winding port just spins around with no resistance(unable to wind) The smaller winding port does not turn. The hand changing port works fine. The face appears to be enamel with Roman numerals. The seconds finger is missing. It comes with its original key and wooden case(the case is a little beaten) Certainly worth restoration and most definitely needs a good clean. The underside has a round bell like dome.
