They're about 10 1/8" tall, and each features Romantic/Shakespearean/Elizabethan hand painted scenes on one side, and then scrolls and flowers with apricot accents on the other. Both urns have wonderful and beautifully detailed Bacchus or Satyr Greek mask type handles, on square bases. Overall great shape, with typical noticeable medium wear to the gilding as you expect with Old Paris, both seem to have their original bolts, and one socle/base has a small chip but this is not very noticeable. Great large size, perfect for tall topiaries, or potted plants, or flowers or even fake grapes/fruit. Truly magnificent pair of antique. Old Paris spill vases. 19th century. These are a large and heavy size. Each vase is decorated with a bisque figure, one man and one woman, each with a swan beside them. Probably an allegorical river depiction, from my research and from fellow colleagues in the antiques industry. These vases have sustained very significant damage. Especially to the vase with the depiction of the male.fingers and toes are missing and a large chunk of the swan's wing is gone. There are chips throughout the edges of both of these vases, and the back of the woman's vase has sustained a large hairline that spans the width of the vase. Easily these vases, in perfect condition would sell for approximately $3000. French Porcelain "OLD PARIS" 1800's Bride's Mantle Flair Gold Gilt Slip Vases
I would date this fine pair of Old Paris slip vases to the late 1800's. A beautiful gift for brides of that period. These two vases are in spectacular condition with no chips or cracks and very very minor gold paint loss. The gold gilt is fantastic! The floral design is quite detailed and undamaged. There are embossed markings on the bottom. And as with most Old Paris pieces, the maker is hard to identify. These vases stand 10 inches tall, 6.5 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep.

Hard-paste porcelain decorated in polychrome enamels and gilding. The bodys with painted figural and Country landscape vignettes on opposing sides gilt borders. The painted scenes divided by moulded handles in the form of gilt winged swan's head handles. Each with intricate cast forms. The Vase. Handles, in the high Neo-classical manner enhanced by matte and burnished gilding the very fine vignettes in the French counrty mannor as found after the revolution. Hard-paste porcelain decorated in polychrome enamels and gilding. The bodys with painted figural and Country landscape vignettes on opposing sides gilt borders. B: the wear to the gilt is typical of a much loved vase and as it should be. As example the section of the vases one would handle them has the most wear. The vases are in the flattened blossoming flower shape and with their wide gilt upper portion are very impressive. The gilt on these pieces is extensive even by Paris porcelain standards and really makes these vases ... morepop. An additional unusual feature is that these vases each have a standing statue. One of a debonair young man, the other of a comely maiden coyly eying each other. The vases are 14 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide and the figures are about 81/2" tall. They are in excellent overall condition with some losses to the gilt on the lower part of the vases where they have been handled over the years. Matched Pair Old Paris Vases converted into Lamps
An absolutely gorgeous matched pair of Old Paris Vases which have been converted into lamps. Stunning color. Painting and gilding. I apologize for the pictures- have a new computer&am still figuring things out)Each lamp weighs 17lbs. is 31 inches tall(19&1/2 inches to top of vase) The round, hand-painted pictures of an aristocratic musical trio in a forest setting are 9 inches across. They are framed with a gold one-inch ribbon with cross hatching, very luxurious bow on top, golden roses and sprigs of gold branches on the back. Absolutely stunning!The set is in very good condition. There is a 3inch hairline on one and a 6inch hairline on the other lamp, with a 1/2inch thin chip on the underlip; some gold gilding has rubbed off on one ribbon; the top to the finial of one lamp is missing.The lamps are solid, sit evenly an their colors ... moreare vibrant!

We are proud to offer at auction this wonderful Pair of French Paris porcelain Vases. They were made in the 19 century. They are all handpainted and wonderfully decorated. They have wonderful designs there's very very little loss to the paint. They were made each in three pieces and are held together by a rod and nut. The Vases are all in good condition with no cracks or chips or repairs. they are 12 1/2 inches tall and 6 1/2 inches across. If you need more photographs sent to you I will be happy to do that.
