They have flowers scenes in the centers. They are in very good condition. I do not see any major flaws. No chips or cracks. The only thing I want to point out is there is a brown spot in the porcelain at the bottom of one of them as you can see in the pictures. It is smooth so I would guess it is in the porcelain. It is marked with two printed marks, and an impressed mark, possibly F& M? This arrived with some matching pieces of porcelain that are French. But none of the others had this mark. I suspect it was either obtained to fill out a set, or possibly just made to match the very popular"cornflower spray" design seen so often on sets of French porcelain of the 1840- 1860 era. Antique Early 19c English or Paris Porcelain Serving Casserole GOld & Flowers
This amazing Blue Ground Flower Decorated Casserole/ Serving dish measures about 4" tall and 7" across the handles. It has a small hairline on the bottom. A small flake chip to the underside of the lid. and some light gilding wear. It is a pretty amazing piece of porcelain with the handles having the splitting acanthus exfoliations. Ive seen this type of handle on early English porcelains as well as others. Since it is unmarked it makes it exceedingly difficult for us to identify. It is a very nice piece, a nice addition for the holidays.

Antique Pair of old Paris porcelain garniture vases urns horse head handles
This unique pair of Old Paris porcelain vases or urns are hand painted and have horse handles. The urns are 10 5/8 inches tall. The urns date to circa 1860 and are French. The pieces have hand painted scenes of the water and scenery with the mountains in the background. One of the pieces is in good condition with only a chip to an ear on one of the horses. And a small chip to the other horses ear, and a chip on each side below the handles. The other piece has had a substantial amount of damage with breaks and chips. This important Old Paris porcelain piece is good example of the high level of craftmanship achieved by the French porcelain industry during the 19th century. The modelling in biscuit of the sultan that serves as finial is simply magnificent. From the movement of his clothes to the majestic mien. The 3-dimensional effect of the sultan figure overflowing the mouth of the ewer/urn is stunning. Under the figure, the glazed body with gilded garlands and high relief leaves and fruit complement the piece, and makes one wonder: Sculpture or domestic ware? ON SALE! Antique tall Old Paris porcelain vase with hand-painted flowers
With a cobalt blue ground and a huge multi-color scene of flowers and drapes. This Old Paris(or Porcelaine de Valentine) is 21 3/4" high and in very good condition. The porcelain of the town of Valentine is produced in a factory near the French Pyrenees since the early 1800's. Its designs are very similar to the Old Paris ones, but the cobalt blue is a constant as to colors. Here in the USA, the porcelain Valentine is not very well known, and many of its pieces are generally attributed to Old Paris. To complicate matters, Valentine as well as Old Paris porcelains are usually unsigned and unmarked. Diameter at the bottom: 6 1/4" Diameter at the mouth of the vase: 7 1/2" The vase presents loss of gilt(see photos) and at the bottom there seems to be a crack from the firing that doesn't affect anything in the vase, neither ... morestructurally nor aesthetically. Antique Reticulated Porcelain Compote Basket Pierced Openwork w Gilt Old Paris
I want to begin by saying that the lemons are not included but they will be listed next. They were included when I purchased this compote and the fit it very nicely but may not fit your decorating scheme. For sale in this auction is a openwork porcelain 8" tall X 10" wide fruit basket or compote. Gold trim and floral design inside bowl which seem in excellent condition to me. I see no cracks or chips. I see one little rose colored spot on the underside of the bowl( shown in picture 12) It is smooth to the touch and seems to be in the glaze. The hardware is also rusty on the underside and I do not want to try to take the piece apart. The only mark I see is the number which is M-605. The base is not square but triangular and there is a pattern similar to egg an dart but not exactly that. Old Paris Porcelain Cobalt & Gilt Low Footed Compote Bowl
For your consideration a marvelous compote bowl with cobalt and gilding. All hand painted. Beautiful central design of an apple or pomegranate. Sits on a low foot. Bowl is 9.25" wide. Stand 2" tall. There is some gilding loss on the very edges. As would be expected, but it really does not detract. A few scratches too, but again, not very impactful for such a beautiful antique. The glaze is strong and shiny overall and the painted decorations are also in excellent condition. Just the edges and a few small parts of the gilded flourishes show wear. Exquisitely painted Old Paris porcelain Veilleuse (tea pot with candle stand)
An exquisitely decorated and rare 19th century Old Paris porcelain veilleuse. Or tea pot atop candle warming stand. The veilleuse comes in four distinct parts: a circular base to support the stand, the cylindrical candle stand, tea pot and tea pot lid. The circular base measures in diameter approximately 4 1/2 inches at the base and 3 1/2 inches at the rim. It is gilded, some wear to the gilt, and perforated with 4 holes to allow for escape of candle heat and gasses. Atop this rises the stand. This is exquisitely painted, one of the finest examples I have seen. The main motif features two men in a workshop or tavern interior. The figure at the right wears stands with his back facing the viewer and leans over slightly. He wears a red vest, yellow shirt, blue pants, black boots and a gray apron. He faces a man seated opposite on a beach in ... morefront of a desk or table. This second man wears a white shirt, gray vest, yellow pants and blue stockings and holds a pipe in his hand. The background to the scene is a brownish tone. This painted scene is framed in a border of gilt. The rear sides of the cylinder are decorated in a motif of ashlar masonry with brownish-plum colored blocks of stone. The top of the cylinder is gilt and perforated with a ring of 7 holes to allow for escape of candle heat and gases. The crown of the cylinder is decorated with an encircling band of white glazed beads. There is a minor chip on the interior of the cylinder and on the interior upper rim of the cylinder. Neither chip is visible when the cylinder is inserted into the base or when the teapot is placed atop. The cylinder measures approximately 4 1/2 inches in diameter and rises approximately 51/2 inches tall. The teapot is a glazed white porcelain It has a bulbous form with a scroll handle and stylized animal head spout. A lovely 19th century Old Paris porcelain vase in deep. Rich tones of maroon, lavishly gilt leaves and grisaille medallion profile portrait of a Roman or Greek matron. The woman in the portrait faces in profile to the right. Her head is covered with a veil and she is seen against a black background surrounded by a gilt border. The front of this vase is entirely colored in a deep, rich plum or burgundy color against which a raised interlace design of a vine with tendril and berries encircles the medallion portrait. At the sides and bottom of the vase project fully three-dimensional gilt leaves(at bottom) and flowers in bud(along the sides) The rim of the vase is also edged in gilt as is the bottom foot of the vase. A beautiful. Exquisitely proportioned and rare Old Paris porcelain berry bowl with liner tray and lid. The piece is lavishly gilt with a pattern of scrolling vines complete with tendrils, leave and clusters of berries. This motif appears on the lid, sides and around the outer rim of the plate. The berries are decorated in a rich pinkish-purple silver gilt and each cluster is further lobed so as to resemble raspberries or blackberries. The lid is mound-shaped and accented by a handle shaped like a large cluster of berries amid leaves.It has eight scalloped sides to correspond to the eight scallops or flutes of the bowl. Fine Paris Gilt Bisque and Porcelain Reticulated Figural Corbeille 19th Century
This auction is for a stunning 19th Century reticulated porcelain and bisque corbeille. The piece is painted cobalt blue and gold with gilt accents. It has a lion footed ovoid base with a lion and floral relief design around the sides of the plinth. Two kneeling angels in chitons act as supports for the dramatic. Pierced porcelain bowl which is also decorated with gilt and has a gold feather at each end above the winged lady columns. As you can see, the corbeille has a removable cast copper insert that fits it perfectly so it can also be used as a planter. This is in very good condition. There is some minor paint loss to the gilt detailing and you can see where the blue paint is worn from the very tips of the base but there are no chips, cracks, repairs or discoloration. The piece is not signed but had two old Drew's Antiques(Omaha) stickers. ... moreDrew's Antiques were a renowned purveyor of fine European antiques and art for 50 years, though they have now been closed for close to 30 years. The Durham Museum even has an exhibit dedicated to the now defunct store. I tried to remove the stickers along with the felt off the feet but some residue remains which a careful but more comprehensive cleaning should take care of. This is a sizable piece, measuring approximately 12" long, 7 1/2" wide and 13" tall. Shipping reflects the considerable weight and delicacy of the piece.

Although the leaves’ surface is not as smooth a surface as that of the pink Flowers. It is made to appear. I believe, as a Cache Pot holding a darker pot inside it. What gives me this idea is the fact that the very top White ... moreedge of the Pot is rimmed with a Darker Green or Black rim, giving the feeling of one pot submerged into the other one. In addition, It is very realistic in feeling as to looking like soil into which the shrub is planted including bits of a material that reminds me of Moss and varied colorations to the‘soil’ The Pot itself. From its base to the top Rim stands about 3 ½: Tall and has a Bottom surface Diameter of about 2 5/8” The Pot has what may be a Chinoiserie sensibility– a Chinese-Inspired Design. Here is a set of 4 antique Paris Porcelain cups and saucers in overall great condition. Saucers measure 5-5/8" wide and about 1" high. Cups measure 3-7/8" wide counting handle and 2-3/4" high. Condition: in my opinion very. Very fine. There is just one small chip to the rim under one plate, and the bottom of one cup has what appears to be some bubbling along the very inside of bottom rim. But I think this occurred in the making(see photo above) Otherwise. Very minor age-related wear. Please study photos carefully to assess condition. Both vases have on the front and back different panels of flowers and insects. On the bottom inscribed marks 103/2 and on one vase also inscribed a'cm' mark. And letter c mark. Size: Height 13 3/4" 35 cm) and widest at 7" 17.5 cm) Weight of both vases together: 2.800 kilograms Condition: One vase is in an excellent condition. Description Unusual Fruit and Berries Coffee Pot. Produced in the 19th Century by Paris Porcelain from France. Decorated with bands of hand painted strawberries and cherries to a white glazed porcelain ground. Further embellished with gilding to the handle and spout and gilt banding to the borders and rims. And with a neo-classical face to the base of the spout. Not marked but guaranteed to be an early and original Paris piece. Please view additional photographs below. There is a ¾" chip to the top rim of the pot and some wear to the banded gilding. Conducive with age and usage.
