Up for sale is a pair of Maytag twin cylinder engine cylinder head jugs. These are original Maytag parts in used condition. I did not remove it from the engine. I am not extremely familiar with Maytags. Either, so my description of what this thing is used for is limited. The part number cast into the piece is S299. The outside has been repainted. And the inside has a little scattered surface rust. The spark plug threads are in decent shape. I have know way of knowing the condition of the bore for compression purposes, but they seem to be in good shape cosmetically. You get two jugs for the money! I have a few other Maytag parts to list. Up for bid are two vintage minature Mohawk liqueurs. One says Coffee Drip and the other says Cherry liqueur. they have their original wax and paper seals but I do not know if there is still liquid in them or not. They have their original advertising mohawk stickers on the bottle. The brown crock shows a crackling finish. They both measure approx 3 1/4 inches tall. these are pretty nice and in pretty good condition for their age. Mohawk originated in 1935 for their first trademark. So these could have been made anywhere within that time period or shortly their after. Tese are in pretty nice condition with no cracks or breaks.

Both jugs are of the same design and by the same maker and year– one is very slightly larger than the other and has a bigger handle– which is not unusual for the time that they were made. As they would have been crafted by hand. They are in brilliant condition for their age of almost 100 years old- hallmarked for Birmingham 1925. They have hinged silver lids on cut glass jugs. The base of each is cut into a star pattern. HALLMARKS: Both silver collars carry the hallmarks of solid silver for Birmingham 1925. These are: S.B& S.Ld into an oblong chamfered rectangle for S Blanckensee& Sons Ltd of Birmingham; the Anchor for the Birmingham Assay Office; the lion passant ... morefor English silver; the letter“A” in a shield for the year 1925. The lids are matching and also have the lion passant and the letter“A” in a shield. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS AND WEIGHT: Height(excluding finials on top) is 11cm. One weighs 140g and the other. Very slightly larger one, 150g. CONDITION: They are both in excellent condition for their age. There are no chips to the glass on either apart from a tiny one on the slightly smaller jug at the top where the neck meets the collar. Similarly. The silver on both is in great condition. Both have a few small spots of wear on the outer rims of the inside of the lid where it meets the collar. As is normal. And the slightly smaller one has some spots of pitting near the back of the collar. You can see this on the photo although they look more noticeable because it needs a clean. There are 4 Platte Valley Corn Whiskey jugs. 2 whiskey style jugs that have no writing on them, a small vintage bottle that has"Mercury" stamped on it and a small vintage R. H. Parker- Old Style- Nelson County jug. Listed below are details of each jug in order of how the images are posted above. The first 2 jugs are 6 inches tall. They are in very good shape. They do not have and text stamped on jugs. I do not know what kind they are. Both bottles are empty and do not have corks in them. There are no chips on either of these two jugs.
