Two Victorian Copper Lustre Jugs: larger size C.1840- 70 both A/F Here are two Victorian copper lustre jugs. One with moulded and enamelled flowers, the other with a decorated blue band. They date from the mid nineteenth century- sometime between about 1840 and 1870. Size: one 5 1/2 inches high. The other 5 3/4 inches high( 14 and 14.5 cm) Condition: The one with flowers has a large crack. But is otherwise undamaged, the other has one chip on the rim, both look good and display well. perfect on that high delft rack. Weight: 894 grammes before packing Shipping to mainland Uk is £6.50 by courier- to highlands/ islands it would be £9.50 by royal mail. Rare old Mexican pottery face jugs German Influence
A very rare pair of matching old man/woman face jugs by Mexican pottery Anfora- signed. The Anfora company. Still in existence, is best known for their Tlaquepaque and Tonala-influenced designs. The company was founded in the 1920s by German immigrants(who lost the company to a Mexican takeover during WWII) and today the company is best known for producing Mexican-patterened ceramics for the U.S. hotel market. In all my years collecting Mexican pottery I have never seen two pieces that were distinctively based on German desgin; and while there is a lot of online information about the Anfora company, I have not been able to find anything resembling a similar design. Vintage Souvenir Pottery Jugs - 2 Madrid Spain Meson del Champignon Brown Glazed
Set of 2 vintage souvenir pottery jugs from the famous Meson del Champinon Tapas Restaurant in Madrid. Spain. The"House of Mushrooms" specializes in tapas made with mushrooms. Two little jugs are made with a rough pottery style. They are glazed inside and out. But are NOT SAFE FOR FOOD. They are purely decorative, but could be used for flowers or any other decorative purpose. Each is handmade, so each is slightly different. Both are glazed with two different color glazes, a dark brown, and a lighter yellowish brown. Meson del Champinon Madrid" is handwritten on both jugs. The only damage is a tiny chip in the side top edge of one jug. And the other has a 1" scratch on the side by the handle. 3 1/2" tall x 2 3/4" wide.

This auction is for a collection of miniature crockery or stoneware. There are 3 tiny jugs ranging in size from 1 1/2- 2 inches.All have some issues like missing handles.Chips,missing spout,but are still really cute! The shoes are another story! They are in very good condition with some very minor chipping as can be seen in the photos! They are a dark brown in color and though very similar they are not quite a pair. One has a small piece of paper rolled up inside which was there when I bought it. It reads"Found in the barn at the farm Douglas Twp. Mich" Not sure when this was written but it will be coming with the boot it was found in! I have been told by different people that these were give aways from tobacco company's back in the 1800's but haven't been able to confirm this.I have also been told that the boots were ... morematch holders.
