With crimped, deeply ruffled blush pink edge, the color of a sunset. Handpainted with roses that are the same shade of pink as the top. Signed by Fenton artist, Sue Foster. In 1969. After many trials, Fenton chemist Charles Goe replicated Victorian Burmese glass. The process of making Fenton Burmese glass started by adding uranium oxides to translucent white glass, which gave it the yellow color. To obtain the glass’s distinct pink shade, it was heated with pure gold. The glass was then treated with intense heat, which adjusted the colors to the pale yellow and pink that the glass is known for. From a local estate. This vase was most likely produced in the 1970's. Fenton Ruby Red Bud Vase with White Roses This Fenton bud vase is in excellent condition. Having been kept in a glass-encased curio cabinet since I acquired it from my sister's estate, and SHE kept it in a curio before that. This Fenton piece is ruby red glass hand-painted with white roses and foliage. The main design is painted on the front with a"sprig" painted on the back. It's signed by the artist and measures approximately 8 1/2" tall and 2 1/4" across the bottom of the pedestal stand. There is no Fenton sticker. And if there is an embossed oval with the Fenton name, I can't find it. Personally, I have no doubt that it IS Fenton- based mainly on the floral design which is identical to other Fenton pieces. Antique/Vintage Hand Painted Nippon Vase Urn Beautiful Roses Double Handle
This listing is for an antique/vintage hand painted vase or urn. It measures about 6 ½ inches tall. 6 inches wide at the widest point, 2 ¾ inches across the base, and 5 ½ inches deep. There are no chips or cracks, but there is gold paint loss and a dark spot on the back neck are that is glazed over. And there is a dark spot on the top of the handle and the top rim. These appear to be manufacturing defects, probably from the firing of the vase. There are lovely roses painted on both the front and back, with detailed gold painting. The Nippon stamp is a nice clear mark. As with all antique and estate purchases. These items can show signs of wear. Great hand painted Old Paris porcelain lidded urn dating to the first half of the 19th century. Very large measuring about 16 1/2" tall and about 9 1/2" at its widest. No chips or visible damage although there is a crack in the finial's twisted fish(which probably were reglued upon close inspection) It was re bolted not too long ago which is a positive in my eyes also. There is some light to moderate wear on the some gilt. But overall this is in excellent displayable shape. Very heavy. Unsigned, which is customary. Fantastic to display. I am not an antique dealer. I am not well informed about the old vase, I will show all marks, to help you identify the piece. There are no chips, or cracks, no dings, there is some light crazing, but you(I) have to hold the vase up close to see it. The bottom is marked"Royal Bonn Germany" with what looks to me to be the initials FM or TM and the numbers 1731. There are other marks inscribed on the bottom, it looks like before the vase was fired. The floral design looks hand painted to me. One side has gold leaf around the edges of the design. The piece stands 14 1/2" tall, and is 7" wide at the widest point. I have no idea of the value. I guarantee item to be as described or your money back, including postage both ways.

This is a beautiful. Hand-painted, rose-decorated, vase, made in Japan. It measures about 9" tall and 7" diameter and is decorated in many wonderful shades of greens with red and pink roses. There is an additional overlay decoration of raised motif pattern of roses. A gold wash once topped those. As well as along the handles and neck. The neck area of gold is barely visible. The rest shows years of wear. The one handle has been repaired. The base has a green logo. Japan, Nippon. The base also has remnants of attached paper that carried a hand-written notation that looks likes its from the 1940's or 30's. A beautiful vase for display or use.

These little birds are sitting on the limb of an apple or cherry tree and the soft pink blooms surround them. The vase measures just 7" tall and is 2 3/4" wide at the base. It is extremely well done. There is no signature on the piece. It is in excellent condition with no damage. There are no chips. Cracks, or nicks. There is no crazing and the wear to the base is minimal. There are no scratches. The bottom is marked with the word Germany and a round logo that also has Germany imprinted in ... morethe center.
