This is a Beautiful Victorian seated lady figurine made in Germany. She is seated and holding a fan in her hand. She is wearing a lovely pink and white dresden lace dress which is accented with little porcelain roses. Approximately 3 3/4 inches tall and 4 inches wide. Marked on the bottom of the base in Green with the FW Frankenthal mark and the number 13. In red are the words Made in Germany. There are some numbers incised in the porcelain as well. It looks like 529. In very good condition with some chips to her lace and a chipped pinky finger. She still displays beautifully. Oldest Volkstedt- Dresden Lace Description: Very nice courting couple. Obviously in love. The Beau is looking into her eyes- and she into his. The lovely Lady is reclining on his lap. History: I have had this figure for many. Many years. Adored it. Seven years ago, I sold it to a party in Germany. When it left my possession- it was in perfect condition. Unfortunately, the buyer sent the figure back claiming it arrived in a"repaired state" I had it shipped back to me and issued a refund. What I recieved was my figurine- but with different hands. For what reason this was done- I do not know. I am hoping someone will find the figure worth saving. Condition: Please Note: I am not a Dresden Lace or German Porcelain Expert. This is a rare and gorgeous large Blanc de Chine porcelain figural that bears both a Nymphenburg factory marking and another than looks like a Frankenthal mark. Could of perhaps be created at two factories. Very fine and large gorgeous piece displaying a young couple in the garden with a little goat at their feet. Measures 12 inches high by 9 1/2 inches wide and is in overall excellent/very good condition with a few small broken pieces. The goat has one broken leg and there is a piece of the basket missing on the bench in addition to a decorative finial on the outer edge. Few tiny nicks to the florals. Overall very minor on display. For your consideration is an antique German Soft Paste Piano Baby/ Bust/ Figurine of a young girl in a bonnet. The piece has lovely soft muted colors ranging from robin's egg blue. Pinks and creams. There is quite a bit of detail to this piece. It has been sitting in an area that has accumulated a bunch of dust and I have not attempted to clean it. In the second to last second image, I tried to show a close up of an old repair to the arm area. The repair basically encompasses the entire elbow area. Antique Vintage German Bisque Doll or Girl figurine Planter with Cherub or Angel
You are bidding on one vintage bisque figurine made in Germany. This is a nice size piece. To me it looks like paradise. This is a very whimsicle piece. It measures approx 8 1/4 inches tall. Across the bottom 7 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches wide. Measured across the front approx 8 inches long. This item is marked. It appears to be a G Dep and a number 8712 etched in the bottom. This is of a girl with a cherub or angel looking into a planter of some sought. On the bottom are two ducks drinking water from a water fall. Very nice piece. There are a few small chips. Around the top vase type part at the tips. I see three of the tips have small chips. On the cherub or boy his hand has two chips one on the inside and one on the outside. His purple wrap also has a small chip on the front and a larger chip on the side of it. I see a little chip ... morealso on one of the pieces of wood along the bottom basket. All chips are small. I used a magnifying glass to find most of them. There is some gold paint wear on the bottom of the girls skirt and other places. I am not sure what the makers marks for these type of items are, so I can not tell you who made them. I will however try to capture them in a picture for you to see. I was told this was German bisque, but again, I have no way of knowing for sure. This is an adorable item. Please see all pictures. I wish I could add more than twelve pictures for some of these pieces. This is an estate sale find, actually the bisque items came from a place that attends auctions and also purchases entire estates. I am not an expert. I will describe items to the best of my ability and tell you what I see. Because I am not perfect it is possible for me to miss something that is important to an expert. If I did not mention any other issues, I do not see any other issues. All of the pieces seem a bit dusty and could use to be wiped down with a damp cloth. An excellent quality German porcelain figurine. Heavy and very nicely modeled woman with hat and beautifully hand painted dress. She is standing on a scrolled square base up against a tree stump. The stump is open for matches or a planter. Bottom has what appears to be the initial"GgD" Also has a"V" to base. No other markings found. Not for sure who made it, possibly Meissen or Volkstedt or. Stands about 11 1/4" tall, base is 5 1/2" square. Great condition, lady has no breaks or repairs. She does have a factory hole to the top of her head shown pic# 12. This is a Beautiful Antique German Dresden Muller Volkstedt Lace Lady Porcelain figure. She is seated in a chair. The figure is beautifully detailed with a pink lace dress, and there are several gold roses applied to her dress. She also has a lot of gold painting details on her dress as well as detailing the chair and fan that she is holding in her hand. Condition is very good with no cracks. Chips and repairs on her body. There is some very minor lace loss(as shown on the photos) but nothing that distracts the eye, and nothing out of the ordinary with these very delicate figurines. Please. Stamped on bottom of base with the mark for Dressel Kister. There is the numbers 5031 inscribed in the porcelain and what looks like a star. In excellent condition the only flaw I see is she was holding a flower in her hand and it has broken off all that remains is the leaves. The finger on the same hand is chipped too. Yellow and gold flowers on the ruffled skirt. She is sitting on a porcelain chair reading a book. Her face is very detailed. Wearing a white bonnet trimmed with gold. There is a small piece of lace missing on the left side and on the right side. Bottom on the fold(see photo) Also the wrist appears to have been broken and glued back on. Stunning Ballerina figurine made by Porzellanfabrik Unterweißbach. Thuringia. Germany. When its was owned by Heinz Schaubach. She is shown with arms up. She is a white top with pink ballet dress and colored flowers on white lace and gold pointe shoes. Her hair is in black with a white and gold crown. Sculpture stands on pedestal decorated with gold arabesques. Genuine texture of porcelain beautifully resembles ballerina’s body. artist markings are located on the bottom of the dress. unfortunately the bottom layer of the dress is missing a piece that is very hard to notice. One or two of the flowers might be missing I assume that it would be attached to one of the leaf's. Over all this is a great treasure to enjoy and has survived all these year's as fragile it appears. Description Fine hand painted porcelain figurine of a beautiful girl by Meissen. The young woman is up on one foot and appears to be holding her skirt while dancing. She is wearing period clothing featuring a bright yellow vest trimmed in gilt with a flowing striped skirt. And is positioned against a tree trunk with flowers strewn delicately on the ground. The figurine has realistic detailing in the face. Hands, and feet and the painting is meticulously done down to details such as the tendrils of hair that wisp against her face and the accents on her clothing. Very sweet and beautiful. Antique German Muff Girl Figurine Match Holder & Striker Metallic Coat
Offered is an antique German match holder and striker with a figurine of a girl in a silver metallic coat holding a muff. It is 4 1/2" high and 2 1/4" by 1 1/2" wide. This handpainted match holder features a figure of a little girl with a muff. She wears a shiny silver coat and shoes and a white cap. The figure has beautiful detail. Sculptured hair and lovely face paint. She is covered with small projecting dots that provide a rough surface for striking the matches. I originally thought these were beads of paint but I now think they are porcelain. Very clever. There is a shadow of a maker's mark. Very faint, and cannot be read. Excellent antique condition. DELIGHTFUL GERMAN RUDOLSTADT C1877 WINGED CUPID WITH BIRDS FIGURINE
This is a superbly modelled figurine. From the German Volkstedt- Rudolstadt manufacturer Macheleid, Triebner& Co, and features a winged Cupid imparting his love on to the two birds he is holding near the tree. The measurements are 4" high by 3" wide, and comes in good condition, with no cracks or repairs, but has had some damage to the tree and foliage, otherwise perfect! You are bidding on: A GORGEOUS ANTIQUE PAIR OF TALL BISQUE PORCELAIN HAND-PAINTED STATUES FEATURING A YOUNG COUPLE IN ROYAL DRESS AND BICORNE HATS. Here's a BEAUTIFUL find from an estate purchase- I acquired these several years back. And am only just now finding it time to part with them. This pair is just. Well. stunning. No other word for it. They stand about 13.5 inches tall, big enough to make a great display statement, and the colors and paint are dreamtastic! Young man is holding a small french horn in one hand and a letter in the other; young lady appears to be reading a letter just received. Both are wonderfully outfitted in period regalia. With pastel mauves and blues and gilt/gold trim, both wearing the very fashionable bicorner European hats often seen in military parades. There are no date or manufacture stamps on these figures, ... morebut experience and research tell me they are European in origin, probably German, and most likely date to the mid to early 20th century. Both have some faint pencil marks in the recessed areas of the bottoms, looks like initials and perhaps a date but too hard to read and I have no idea if that would be the mark of the original artist or a previous owner. Please know that I am extremely tough in grading my pottery. Porcelain and glassware: I've been collecting. Selling and trading antique items for over 30 years, so I know that the only perfect piece is one that just left the factory. And even then it probably has some original-manufacture flaws. I tend to call out flaws that other sellers might not notice or conveniently overlook, so when I tell you it's right, it's right. I want everybody happy. That being said. Here's what I'd note to condition: Both figures could use some light cleaning from experienced hands. For your consideration is an Antique Piano Baby Figurine made by Gebruder Heubach. A Piano baby is a figurine used to hold the edges down on the large shawls that would cover the piano. Doll sits 8 1/4" tall. The company. Which translates as Heubach Brothers, was established in 1843 by Georg Christoph and Phillipp Jakob Heubach when they purchased an existing porcelain factory in Lichte, Germany. The company began to manufacture items such as household pottery. Figurines and novelties, and in 1863 opened a local art school for sculptors. This training led to the company becoming renowned for its high quality and lifelike figurines, including their range of which are highly sought after by modern collectors.
