This is a single Disneykin Figurine of Snow White made by the Marx Company in the 1960's. She is part of Collectable Set of 36 hand-painted figures made in Hong Kong and copyrighted by the Walt Disney Company. 18thC Italian Earthenware Musician Figurine Le Nove Real Fabbrica Ferdinandea
For sale is a figurine made in Italy in the 18th century probably by the Real Fabbrica Ferdinandea or Le Nove. It is made of earthenware with a glaze that has a bluish tint in the thickest areas where it has pooled during the firing. The figurine is of a gentleman playing a guitarlike instrument wearing a long coat with a fancy shirt underneath and pants that go over his knees. Typical attire of the times! The hairstyle of this figurine is typically Italian! He stands on a very fancy base with lots of fine detail to it. The piece is in good condition with the end guitar missing a piece. One finger chipped a little and some areas where the glaze is gone and the darkened eartherware colors shows through. All in all in very good condition considering this stuff is even more fragile than porcelain. For sale is a superb figurine made by Royal Vienna around 1760. It is of a shepherd and sheperdess sitting together with their dog in front of them. The gnetleman is teaching the lady to play the flute and there is a basket of grapes between his feet. A very cute piece. It displays very well but is missing a tree that used to be behind them and there is a bit of damage to the flute but otherwise it is amazingly well preserved! A lage firing crack to the underside which does not affect the piece at all. There is a rough spot on his hat- maybe a flower was attached there or it is a firing flaw not sure. The figure is 4 inches tall. 4.125 inches wide and 3.75 inches deep. Marked underneath with the underglaze blue shield mark and an impressed O or Q. For sale is a large figure of a scene of what I imagine to be a the goings on in a nobility household during the 18th century. It was made by Nymphenburg around 1900. The figurine is of the lady of the house getting her tall hairdo done by a hairdresser standing on a ladder while a servant is standing next to her by her table. Tons of small detail to this superb figurine with a little dog standing next to her. Lots of small items on the table and lots of other things all around. The figure is 8.25 inches tall and the base is 6.625 inches wide and 5.875 inches deep. The piece is marked underneath with the impressed shield mark and the number 38. incised. Update! Thanks to a friendly eBay birdie I now know that this is a Weil Ware California Pottery piece that features a Dutch Girl in a Dress carrying a couple of baskets. I'll leave the rest of my original description as it has been. Hopefully. With the proper name I can finally find this girl a new home! Up for bid here is what I'll call a Vintage Dutch Girl Glazed Ceramic Figurine. She's carrying baskets in each hand and wearing a nice pink-purple-lavender dress along with a scarf. Bird tapes at approx. 5-1/2" tall, 5-1/4" across wings. Excellent condition with NO chips, cracks or fleabites. Underside base rim has 3 tiny raised feet-noted in photos.
