This Is Another Treasure From My Personal Collection! It Is A Beautiful Woman Dressed In Exotic Clothes Reading From A Book Or Newspaper. I Can't Make Out All The Letters At The Top Of Her Book. But The Hammer and Sickle Looks Russian. If She's A Story Teller. I Would Surely Listen! The Colors and Detail In Her Costume Of This Hand-Painted Figurine Are Simply Gorgeous! She's about 3-1/4" in diameter and about 4-3/4" tall. I purchased her at an antique shop in Belgium in the late 1960's. Not sure the country of origin. Maybe German or Russian. Plays"Anniversary Waltz" Figure painted label 3128/15.000. Features Charlie Brown& Snoopy Approximately 6 inches tall including base Ceramic bottom diameter is approximately 4.5 in. This item is in used condition. The item had defects and needs minor repair. S ee the pictures to examine the details of the condition. I have not attempted to clean or repair the item. Please ask questions before bidding or request more pictures. I have listed the defects I found below. Musical mechanism plays. The on/off lever that controls the music and motion is working. There are two holes on the bottom of the item where one or possibly two screws are missing. The screws attach the inner ... moremetal musical mechanism to the wood inset on the bottom of the item. One hole I cannot determine if a screw belongs there. As it is under the white plastic base. The other hole in the wooden part lines up to a hole in the plate of the inner mechanism. Because the screw(s) are missing, the white plastic base and inner mechanism are loose- the item does not rotate correctly or stand level on a level surface. There are small imperfections/chips/flaws/paint defects on the ceramic. The most noticeable flaws I found were located on the top of Snoopy's nose and his finger(left hand) and the top of Charlie Brown's head and tip of his right shoe. The flaws appear in the pictures for this item. Please refer to them for greater details on the condition. The box is has some old tape on it. It is used and has staining. Bends, dents, and creases. It has some small writing on it(says Peanuts 30th)

Large, Porcelain Figurine of Gunther Gebel-Williams, Ringling Brothers Circus
This auction is for a large. Porcelain figurine of Gunther Gebel-Williams who was an animal trainer for Ringling Bros. and Barnum& Bailey Circus from 1968-1990. The bottom of the piece is signed and dated 1976. Unfortunately. I haven't been able to make out the signature. The last name appears to be Kendall. The recessed center of the base is marked with an impressed centaur(half man/half horse) It appears to be an original piece that was not manufactured for commercial sale. The figurine stands 14 1/2" tall and is attached to a clear acrylic base that measures 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" The acrylic base has a beveled edge. The figurine has a small chip on the bottom edge of the base in the back(see photo) There is a small manufacturing flaw/crack behind the heel of the right shoe that's covered with glaze. Antique Potschappel Dresden Lace Ballerina Dancer Figurine - 2&1/4" w/gold accts
Hi all.this was in my mom's personal collection.I didnt know anything about porcelain from germany when I started this research but I have gathered from the net that the 5 pointed crown with the N means this was made at the Potschappel Werkstaat which was founded by Carl Thiem.one of the big boys in german porcelain art.the dresden lace work is very popular and very fragile.it's real lace dipped in porcelain that is fired right onto the figurine.this is a lovely example.cream lace with pink and purple flowers on the dress.2& 1/2 inches tall with gold accents.there are a couple of ruffles on the front that may be slightly damaged but it's so small I cant really tell if there were chips of lace that came off or they just were never there from the start and a spot on the right side where there seems to be a piece of lace missing.the ... moreinternet said most of the Dresden lace was made before the war but I cant tell how old this may be.anyway.she is in amazing shape and should shine in your collection.enjoy! please feel free to ask any questions about this item…I check my messages 3 or 4 times a day and try to answer them immediately… we do not offer returns or refunds.all sales are final.we ship every other day except where Sundays and holidays interfere…we wrap all of our valuables in such a fashion that insurance would be folly.
