This auction is for one antique Gorham Sterling Silver Solid Flat Handle Master Butter Knife in the Etruscan pattern. This item is from my Mom's estate. Inherited from my paternal grandmother, and has been used. The Etruscan pattern is simple and elegant, with stepped, squared-off handle end with a Greek Key pattern. There is a ridge on either side, just inside of the handle edge, the length of the tapered handle. There is oxidation in the recesses of the key design and the recess between the ridge and the edge of the handle, accenting the lines of the piece. The handle is gently curved and the blade has a curved notch in the top edge and curved point. This is thick, sturdy, solid Sterling Silver nearly 2mm thick. It's a simple and elegant piece. The title designation"Solid Handle" is to differentiate the piece from the hollow handle butter knife; this does NOT mean that only the handle is solid Sterling Silver. The entire knife is solid Sterling Silver. CONDITION: Fair antique. Pre-owned, used, with no large structural damage; not misshapen, other than tip of the blade, which has a tiny push-scrape, blunting and roughing it a little, when you look really closely. Please see the photo. It's very tiny, and it was difficult to get clear focus on it. There is no monogram or monogram removal. Most signs of use are on the blade, some use scratches, fine polishing marks, some small dings on the bottom and a couple of tinier ones on top. There are some on the handle as well. These could be professionally buffed out, if desired. May need light polishing. Please see the photos. Quality antique Sterling piece. Needs a little TLC. Free

Here is a butter pat or nut dish from Royal Winton/Grimwades in the Summertime Chintz pattern. This is the older version of the pattern. Which was produced from 1932-60. 3 1/4" across and in very good used condition for it's age. Please see our other listings for more of this pattern. Here are 4 little butter pats.interesting shape/ sort of oval with a pointed end that turns up.I think they are flow blue/ sort of have a blue cast on the backside BUT not positive.I purchased a plate with them in the same pattern and the mark on the back of the plate has a Capital"T" with a lion on the side and GERMANY so I am assuming they are from Germany but the pat's are not marked.I think this pattern is Blue Danube but again not positive.I think they are older. Antique Doulton Burslem Arundel Butter Pat– Cup Plate#2– As Is Rare and lovely Blue and White transfer print. Arundel cup plate or butter pat, dating from 1891-1902. I am offering three of these little gems separately as they each show different degrees of wear. This piece shows normal crazing which would be expected from a piece of this age, more so on the back than the front and magnified to the eyes in my photos. Three stilt marks, which are normal from the firing stacking process, are on the front and back. You may be able to see them in my photos. This little piece measures approximately 3 1/8” in diameter. Overall condition of this plate is Very Good. There are no chips. I see a few very light utensil marks but they are noticeable only if you angle the pat in perfect light. This auction is for 6 RARE Furnival transferware butter pats. The Flow Blue set is in the Touraine Pattern and was manufactured by both Stanley Pottery Company and Henry Alcock& Company in the same pattern design. The Touraine Pattern features a floral design with a very dark blue border and has a slightly embossed design. It is a vintage set, and contains no reproductions pieces. The Stanley English Registry Mark on the back indicates a Circa date of 1898; while the Henry Alcock& Co. backstamp indicated a Circa date of 1891- 1900. One dish has a large black bubble pop in the center surrounded by a lot of crazing discoloration. Another dish has a small chip on the top edge. One dish has a large amount of discoloration on the bottom. Another dish is very damaged. With a large black chip on the top side, a chip on the underside and two hairlines. This auction is for a neat 3 piece Aunt Jemima Black Americana condiment set. Each piece has a picture of Aunt Jemima on it. The set includes a creamer.A sugar jar with lid and a butter pat/plate. The creamer measures almost 2 1/2 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches across the bottom. The sugar dish measures 2 3/4 inches tall with lid and almost 2 1/2 inches across the bottom. The butter pat measures almost 3 1/4 inches across in diameter. They have no chips,cracks or breaks. They do have crazing as shown in the photos. I will be happy to combine shipping. IT'S A VERY CUTE HAND DECORATED DESIGN WITH THE PHRASE, IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO MEND. IN THE WELL OF THE TRAY. THIS PROBABLY REFERS TO SEWING. BUT COULD HAVE EMOTIONAL APPEAL, AS WELL.
