Sifrhippus Sandrae Eohippus Hyracotherium Mammal Fossil Tooth Big Horn Basin WY
The Eohippus speciman was found in the Big Horn Basin on the surface of the Willwood Formation near Worland. Wyoming. Lower jawbone with a nice m2 molar. A great addition to your fossil collection. My father and I hunted these fossils in the 1960's and this speciman is part of the collection. The Sifrihippus Sandrae previously known as the Hyracotherium and Eohippus is thought to be the first known horse.

Phenacodus vortmani Mammal Fossil m1 molar Tooth Eocene Wyoming Big Horn Basin
The fossil was found on the surface of the Willwood Formation in the Big Horn Basin. Near Worland, Wyoming. Nice m1 molar with a partial root. My father and I hunted these fossils in the 1960's and this specimen is part of the collection. The Phenacodus is one of the earliest and most primitive of the ungulate mammals.

VTG Victorian Barbers bleeding/shaving basin/bowl,Antique Ironstone transferware
From the late eighteenth to the early nineteenth century bleeding bowls like this rare find were used by barbers for blood letting as well as for use as a shaving basin. Both jobs being carried out by the same tradesman. The crescent shaped cut out area is used under the customers neck for shaving or on the arm for blood letting. The indentation is for a shaving brush to rest. You can see in the picture how your arm would lay for the practice of bloodletting. This is in mint condition and is an estate sale find.
