FOUR Superb Ruby Red Original Antique Art Nouveau Floral Tiles Circa Early 1900s
Set of Four Beautiful Original Art Nouveau Floral Ceramic Tiles The colours are beautifully saturated- I estimate them to be from between 1905- 1915. The faces of the tiles are in good vintage condition- expect some marks. But nothing too detrimental. There are some areas of repair in the corners of the tiles(an example of which i've shown in the third photo) to be honest, it's unlikely you'd notice these areas if the tiles are grouted in somewhere- and the overall condition I would describe as good. Marked'England' on the reverse(see second photo) They measures approximately 15 x 15 cms. Will be packaged securely and posted with insurance. I'm starting the auction at only £29.99. Although similar individual tiles often sell for over £50 each! Overall a beautiful set of tiles!

Measuring just under 12 7/8 inches long by just over 4 3/4 inches wide and approx. 15/16ths. of an inch when measured from side. This piece features a blue and white tile set much like blue onion pattrern with turned wood spindles and carbon steel blade. Condition is good used with some staining to lower tile with chips, burn to lower tip of one spindle and cap board has been nailed where cracked. These are Antique Decorative Stamped Tin Metal Roof Panels from the late 1800s to early 1900s in Victorian style. 5 per order. They are from an historic home in Columbus GA. I have about 1000. They are all similar to the ones shown. Most have gothic arch design but some have interesting arrow design. Great for design projects. Lot of 17 H & R Johnson Ceramic Tiles England Vintage Antique Pink Rose Gray
For sale are 17 vintage ceramic tiles made by H& R Johnson Ltd. in England. I don't have any history about these tiles- I bought them online about 15 years ago for a remodeling job. And never used them. I would describe the design as Art Nouveau, with a Moroccan accent. Two pink roses with green leaves are featured against an off-white background, surrounded by a Moroccan-style black"frame" The background is a true gray(not bluish) scalloped design. Measurements: 6 in x 6 in square each 5/16 in to 3/8 in thick(slight variations between tiles; most are close to 3/8 in thick) CONDITION: All tiles are in good condition. The fronts of the tiles have some crazing; see 4th photo. There are no chips on the fronts of the tiles and no chips on the front edges. There are some minor chips on the back edges, which don't detract ... morefrom the tiles' appearance. I see no grout on the backs of the tiles- just some darkening of the light-colored ceramic. There is some variation between tile colors, especially the gray background(see 2nd photo) There are some manufacturing defects(see discoloration in off-white areas in first photo) Please contact me if you would like more photos, or need more information about the tiles. The tiles are not returnable, unless it is determined I have purposefully misrepresented the condition of the tiles.
