Just under 3 inches across the bottom, 5+3/4 inches across including spout and handle, 1+1/2 inches across top opening. jade rings measure 9+5/8 inches around. Lots of metal work dragons around the sides between the rings. base of spout is a dragons head. Top surface is cloisonne dragons. On the lid a monkey sits in the middle of 3 frogs. I believe this is for decorative use. I would be afraid of damaging it by using it. Bottom shows wear. there are some scratches or scuffs on the jade rings that will need to be polished out. With its elegant lines, great ribbed texture and the most gorgeous patina contrasting with bone handle on the lid and additional bone accents. Amazing! This very beautiful ornate antique teapot is in very good condition. I can not find any dents or repairs at all. The lid hinge is in tact and the lid closes properly. The inside is in quite nice condition as well. The marking on the bottom of this teapot is as follows"American Silverplate Co. Quadruple, 600 Tea" The pot itself stands 6" tall, total height to the top of the lid is about 8 1/2"The ingraving all over the pot is very pretty and you can see this in the pictures. I have not polished this pot and it is therefore somewhat tarnished. The dark spots you see are reflections from the camera. If questions, please E-mail. The markings on the bottom have been translated as such: Sheffield Design~Made in the USA H.M.C. = Homan Manufacturing Company E.P.N.S. = Electro Plate Nickel Silver W.M.M'T'S = White Metal Mounts 0624 = Model# The 3 crest's at the very bottom have not yet been identified. There is some tarnish especially on the spout and handle. There is a small"dent" in the base and a small dent on the body of the pot near the pour handle. HISTORY: This elegant pot shows its age of almost 100 years beautifully. The Homan Manufacturing Company has a history dating back to 1847. Henry Homan and Asa F. Flagg formed a partnership in Cincinnati. Ohio, for the manufacture of pewter wares. Homan& Co. pieces ... morewere often marked"Flagg& Homan" At that time. After Henry died. His widow and sons ran the firm until 1887. During this period, they changed over a great deal of their production to electroplating with silver and sometimes gold. In 1896, the firm was listed as the Homan Silver Plate Co. and between 1904 and 1915, they became the Homan Mfg. Co. They were out of business by 1941. The bottom of this beautiful piece is marked Sheffield Design. Made in USA, with the Homan Manufacturing Co. initials H.M.C. and the company Hallmark. The pot is numbered, 0624. The letters E.P.N.S. and the letters W.M.M'T'S are on the bottom as well. Sheffield design refers to the electroplating process used. E.P.N.S. stands for Electro Plate Nickel Silver. W.M.M'T'S. Which stands for white metal mounts, is a generic mark used by many manufacturers to indicate that the applied decoration, in this case the handle, spout, and finial, are made from cast white metal. It is a Lovely teapot. There are no markings present to show who made this item and where it was made. The handle, legs, and spout appear to be made of pewter however I am not certain. This is only my guess. The top does open and close with the hinge being secure. This item measures 11 and 1/2" tall by 11 and 1/2" long by 5 and 1/2" across. Presenting 2 antique Sheffield James Deakin and Sons Regancy style EPNS silver plated teapot and matching coffee pot. Both are in good condition with wear and both having some scratches and a few teeny tiny pings on pots. The teapot's hinges need a missing pin but it still opens and closes fine. Both pieces need to be re-silver plated and the wood-like perhaps bake-lite handles are in tact but worn. The bottom of the teapot reads 15216 and the bottom of the coffee pot reads JD& S.EPNS, WITH A LAMP INSIDE THE SHIELD EMBLEM AND 15216. The JD& S stand for James Deakin and Sons with their emblem. 2 nice pieces of history. Probably very early 1900's or late 1800's.The teapot is 9 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" wide from spout to handle, opening is 3" in diameter. I am loathe to sell this lovely silver-plated set of teapot. Sugar bowl and milk jug but will soon need to downsize. It was probably made during the 19th century. It doesn't bear the'EPNS' mark which probably means it was made before that mark was introduced. The maker's mark on the base of all three pieces is'H.B. H. and each of these letters sits in its own shield. Above is a coronet and the word'ALPHA' Which may refer to the pattern, and below is the number 6244, and these appear on all three pieces. To combat the heat conducted through the metal. There is a bone handle on the lid and two small bone insulators on the handle. The set is beautifully made and in excellent condition. With no wear or damage, except a tiny pin-head dent on one side of the teapot. Bid with confidence!

An original antique shell pattern china tea pot with unusual moveable brass& wood handle and flower maker's mark on bottom. The shoulder of teapot has raised sea shells and nice pattern around the rim.original lid has matching unique pattern around finial knob.5 petal flower embossed on bottom with"sunrays" which is a maker's mark. but not sure what pottery used it?Brown glazed earthenware.5 1/2"tall(6 3/4"to top of lid.9 1/4"to top of wood handle) The unique handle is made of brass or copper wire which loops through mounts on the shoulder of pot. There is a wood handle in middle joined to the brass wires with adjustable screws. The handle is designed to move back and forth for easy pouring.a very interesting and unusual design! Handle is in excellent condition. It has a shallow chip on end of spout.a ... moresmall shallow chip on top rim.some shallow chipping around top inside of pot(which is hidden by the lid)and a small glaze chip on edge of lid. Knowles Floral Bouquet Aladdin Teapot This is a lovely antique Tea Pot or Tea Server made by the Edwin M. Knowles China Company in 1941. It has an Aladdin Lamp style shape with scrolled loop handle and curlicue finial on the cover. It is decorated with a multicolored bouquet of roses in pink. White, pale lavender and yellow with green leaves on a creamy white background. Gold trim provides detail to the design. This teapot is 5.5" tall to the top of the handle and 9.75" from spout to the outside of the handle. It has no cracks. But it has extensive crazing of the finish inside and out, and a 1" chip from the inside rim which has been neatly reattached(see photo) The interior shows browning along the craze lines, with just a hint of darkening on the outside only under the handle. Stains can be lightened with a weeklong soak ... morein 40% peroxide, available from hairdressers. The floral designs and gilding are 95% intact, bright and unfaded. Antique Hallmarked Silver Samovar Set. Iranian, Persian, Teapot Urn Cup Tray Urn measures approximately 5 1/4"W x 5"D x 8"H with spigot. Teapot measures approximately 2 1/2"W x 4 1/4"D x 2 1/2"H. Cup measures approximately 3 1/2"W x 1 1/4"H. Tray measures approximately 5"W x 8"H. All pieces are made 0.875 silver with wood handles. Pieces are marked with an Iranian silver 84 Standard mark. All parts together weigh approximately 31.8 Troy Ounces with the wood included in the weight. Pieces are heavily decorated with detailed engravings. Some of the decorations include birds and flowers. Hammering marks are still visible on many of the parts. The hinge of the steam release"valve" is partly broken and can be seen in the eighth image above. Silver is very tarnished.
