With lush pink roses and rosebuds, green and blue leaves, and sponged gilding, all on a pristine white porcelain background. The full-size pattern repeats on the back side. The lid has a capodimonte style finial in the shape of a single rose flower. Marked underneath"Lefton China. Hand Painted, with the number 885 in black ink. Made in Japan. Circa 1940s-1950s. This stacker combination consists of 4 parts. Including the teapot, sugar bowl, creamer and lid which stack on top of each other in a pyramid of 3 tiers or layers. When stacked. It is 6.25" tall to the tip of the finial and 7.25" from spout to handle. This stacked set has no chips. Cracks or stains, except that the rose finial ... moreon top of the lid has lost the tip of 1 of the 3 outer leaves, though this isn't visible unless inspecting closely. The rest of the rose finial is perfect. The cream and sugar dish are excellent and the teapot itself is very good. With just one tiny dark speck on one side and one tiny bump of extra porcelain under the glaze, made during manufacturing. The gold trim is very good, with only the slightest signs of wear. The multicolored floral inset designs are intact and bright. This vintage nesting teapot makes a wonderful display after all these years! This is a very rare and incredibly ornate Victorian Reed& Barton silver plated teapot(could it be water pot. Coffee pot or chocolate pot as well. I have never seen such ornate and detailed design before. With the interesting shape and the lions heads on the top of the lid, the interesting design and the mysterious material of the handle, the flowers( came out of the lions mouths, and the human's heads on the legs of the pot. Truly mysterious and beautiful, just an amazing example of Victorian ornate piece. The cream colored material looks like hard pressed plastic or rubber or bone to me. This auction is for Antique circa 1856-66 BRITANNIA SILVER Plate Philip ASHBERRY& SONS TEA SET. The bottom of the teapot is marked"Britannia. Mark Philip Ashberry& Sons. SHEFFIELD, Nonconducting Handle, 4 over 3283 over v" The SUGAR is very large almost the size of the teapot- this was more common in early sets. The TEAPOT measures approximately 5 inches in height and 11 inches from spout to end of handle. The sugar measures approximately almost 4 3/4 inches to the tip on the handles and 9 inches in length from outer edge of handle to outer handle edge. The creamer stands approximately 4 3/4 inches to the tip on the handle and 6 1/4 inches in length. The silverplate is in excellent condition with no wear through and the pieces. Which are not monogrammed, are heavily engraved with a pattern of floral garlands and scroll with ... morea shield/cartouche in the center. There is a dent in the top of the handle of the teapot where the finial rests when open(please see close-up photo) and there are a couple of light dents in the sugar, but you really have to look to see them. This silverplate teapot was made by the Wilcox Co. The number 1958 with the number 7 under it is engraved on the bottom. It measures 7 3/4" tall and 10 1/2" from the handle to the tip of the spout. There is tarnishing. I have not cleaned it. It weighs 1 pound 15 ounces. There are some scratches, please see the fifth picture. It holds 42 ounces when full. It's a really neat piece.

ANTIQUE JAPANESE BANKO EARTHENWARE TEAPOT LATE NINETEENTH CENTURY
During the Meiji period or the latter half of nineteenth century. This 3-cup teapot was made in Japan, probably for export, and is known as a Banko teapot. Named after an 18th century potter, Nunami Rozan. Who made teapots stamped with bankofueki. Or"eternity, constancy, hoping the teapots would be handed down through endless generations after he made them and passed on. Banko ware was not made for a period after his death. But a revival of the techniques occurred during the Meiji Period(1868-1912) when I am pretty sure this teapot was made. It seems to be made of grey earthenware with a"sharkskin" glaze and raised applied enamel decoration over the matte glaze. It is in excellent condition. It is five inches tall and 5.5 inches diameter and measures 7.5 inches from the spout to the handle. There are no maker's marks that ... moreI can find. I think it is an early Banko ware product. The wheel-thrown marks can be seen on the bottom, as well as the rim on the bottom where the pot was cut from the wheel.

Antique German Jasperware tea set, consisting of the teapot, the creamer, the lidded sugar, and 6 cups and saucers. It looks and feels like Schafer& Vater Jasperware but it is only marked with numbers. The winning bidder gets the entire set. SIZE: The cups are small. Approximately 2 inches tall. The saucers are approximately 3.75 inches long, and just under 3 inches wide. The teapot is just under 5.25 inches tall, and is just over 7.25 inches from handle to spout. The creamer is just over 2.5 inches tall. The lidded sugar is just under 4.5 inches tall. CONDITION: The set is in very good condition. One saucer has a chip on the inside of the foot underneath that is not visible unless you turn the saucer upside down- the ... morepen is pointing to it in the close up picture. There is a tiny rough spot on the rim of the teapot lid that may be a flea bite or may be a manufacturing flaw- the pen is also pointing to this in a close up picture. There is no other damage. Nom reserve auction for a vintage or antique handpainted& gilded teapot& matching cream pitcher. The teapot has a crossed swords mark inside the glaze on the bottom that I was unable to identify. Input appreciated. Teapot measures 4-1/4" tall with lid, 7-1/2" wide, spout to handle, and the cream pitcher is 2-3/4" tall. Real nice vibrant handpainted scenes. No cracks or crazing starting on any of the 3 pieces, and their insides look nice, no stains or damage.The creamer has a surface chip in the blue to the left of it's scene and a swipe of paint near the bottom, spout smooth, but gilding wear, see photo#9- 10. You see chained to the legs of the burner stand are two keys.You insert the keys one to the side of the kettle and the other to the stand to keep the kettle in place,when you are ready to serve,you remove the pin on the back but leave the pin in the front locked,and then pour. The whole piece measures 12 inches tall and 9 inches wide at the widest part-the kettle itself is 9 by 9 inches and the stand is 8 inches wide and 3 inches tall.The stand stands on 4 claw feet and the burner sits in the middle,on each side of the stand there are 2 pins chained to the feet ... moreso it would not get lost,the chain is long enough to insert the pins into the locks. Conditon is very good.Clean inside and no visible scratch marks or dings I can see,the handle of the kettle could be bakelite,not sure. Four vintage mercury glass tree ornaments. All in vintage condition. No breaks on the teapot or bird. I don't really see any damage other than normal wear. One has its original wire hanger and plug. Santa has lost some of his color.

With rich, realistic coloration created by blended handpainting and airbrushing by skilled artisans. The glaze is semi-gloss. The base clay is a creamy tan which shows underneath and inside. Stamped underneath"E& R est 1886. ERPHILA" inside a cogwheel with"Germany" underneath. All in green ink. The base is also incised with"6703B. Circa 1940's to 1950's. 7" wide from spout tip to outside handle(on a horizontal line) And 8" tall. Excellent condition. With no chips, cracks or stains, and just a few tiny finish blips. This pattern was produced from 1916 to 1939, then discontinued. Ranging in age from 74 to 100 years old, it has become hard to find. The D4051 patten is multisided with bright floral spray and brown band. This teapot has black back stamp with Royal Doulton Lion logo and Made In England. Size: About 5-1/2" height with lid; 9" spout to handle. Condition: Very good for age with lots of crazing. Floral pattern and accents are bright and complete. It has a small spot on bottom that looks like a burn spot. This is not seen except when turned upside down. In my opinion the crazing complements the appearance and value. Antique TAKITO Japanese TEA SET - Vintage GILDED FLORAL Teapot Cream & Sugar
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Antique Takito Pink& Red Roses Japanese Tea Set ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a beautiful and rare antique Gilded Porcelain TEA SET hand decorated with pink and plum-purple colored roses with green and blue leaves and stems. With a white beaded moriage over teal green band around the upper middle and gold woodgrain tracery above. The body is a glossy white porcelain with gilding trim. Marked"Hand Painted-Made in Japan" in green lettering around double diamond shapes with a capital T in the center of each diamond. Made by the Takito Company. Which operated from 1880 to 1948. This particular Takito mark was used from 1922 to 1944, but judging from the shape, this set was made in the earlier part of this range. The teapot is 4.5" tall to the top of the lid finial and 7" from ... morespout to handle. The sugar dish is 3.75" tall to the tip of the cover and 6" from handle to handle. The Cream Pitcher is 3" tall to the tip of its handle. This elegant old tea service has no chips or cracks. Except for a small faint star hairline under the base of the teapot which is not visible from inside(see 2nd photo, just to the right of the mark) On close inspection, some minor manufacturing blips can be seen: a few tiny glaze pops(pinhole-sized pits in the glaze) and a few black dots. Also, the underside edge of the teapot and the interior bottom of the sugar bowl have several grainy, sandy bits that were glazed over during firing of the original porcelain(not visible during normal use) The teapot lid is a little loose and poorly seated, though it was clearly made for this set. The floral design is intact and unfaded on all the pieces, as is the moriage beading. The gilding is also good, with very little rubbing. This is a beautiful and hard-to-find vintage Japanese serving set for display or use! I've seen matching cups. Little Chinese export porcelain teapot from the late 18th century. This piece was made between 1760-1785. This piece is hand enameled with various brilliantly colored flowers. There is also a gilded and red painted band of design around the rim of the teapot and cover. Inside of the teapot is an old tag from the 1920s with a description and price for the teapot. The bottom of the tag reads: Formely in the Aberfoyle Collection: Sevenoaks. Kent. This tag incorrectly identifies the pot as being Lowestoft. This is a common mistake as Lowestoft copied Chinese Export pieces, oftentimes so precisely that many are fooled. This piece is the harder porcelain Chinese export, it was made in China ... morecertainly between 1760 and 1785. The overall condition of this piece is excellent considering its age. There is a slight hairline crack on the handle that does not go through completely as well as a small. Very old chip to the finial. The line in the handle was probably original to the manufacture. Otherwise, there are no splits, no breaks, no other cracks, no other chips, no repairs and no other problems of any kind. This offering is for an antique Staffordshire tea set. And includes the large teapot, generous covered sugar and creamer. The pattern is the Chelsea Grapevine Copper Luster pattern(sometime referred to as Grandmother's) All of the pieces are footed, with square handles and consist of 10 panels with a formed design of beading with inverted crowns. There are beautiful purple grapevines with copper luster on each of the panels. Our research indicates that these would have been produced in the 1830-1880 time frame. It is a beautiful set for use or display! Measurements in inches: Teapot- 9" to top of lid and 10" across handle/spout. Sugar- 8" to top of lid and 7.5" across handles, Creamer 5.4" tall and 5.25" across handle Condition: All have age related crazing. It is in very good condition. The pot has a shallow flake on the inside rim(pictured) and the lid has several tiny glaze flakes around the bottom rim. This piece has been truely cared for. Antique Wedgwood Light Blue Jasperware Teapot with matching Sugar Box Made in England c. 1891 Here we have a Two pieces of a beautiful Jasper Dip Tea Set which was given as a gift in 1891. There is a nice written note on the underside of the Teapot with some history. The color is a slight bit paler than the blue Jasperware dip of today. The Lids on both the Tea Pot and the Sugar Bowl are lavishly decorated with relief foliage. White Greek Mythological figures on light blue Jasper ware depict the Sacrifice to Ceres on the Sugar Box. We are unsure of the names of the figures on the Teapot. However Cupid appears on one side. These pieces are in excellent condition with no chips. Cracks or repairs. There is some staining on the inside of both. Which possibly could be removed with a professional/correct application of peroxide. Beautiful New Hall teapot with the"Boy Chasing Butterfly" pattern. The pattern is don w/ a base transfer that is the hand painted& detailed w/bright colorful enamels. 7" tall; 9 1/4" wide handle to spout. The teapot is part of a collection that came from the estate of a avid teapot& tea cup collector. The piece is unmarked. But the teapot form& decoration are known to be from New Hall Ca. 1810. There is a simialr example at the V&A Museum. The piece is in good condition for age- there are three chips on the underside of the lid rim(see last photo) There is glaze wear to the finial point(the very tip may be gone, but it is smooth now& I do not know the exact point he teapot had in new condition) There is glaze wear to spout rim& handle which has caused some black flecking. Minor glaze wear to other ... morerims. No other chips or cracks. The teapot's hand painting& design are in good condition. The listed flaws do not effect the beauty& display of this old teapot- Thank you for looking! This auction is for a Lovely Antique Porcelain Teapot and lid made in Czechoslovakia by Becher& Stark- Schwalb Brothers circa 1882. The teapot and lid are in good condition. Especially for its age. There are no chips or cracks or repairs. There is extensive loss of the gold accent designs. The pot has a neatly shaped handle and a nice raised or molded dot pattern in its white porcelain. The teapot measures 9 inches tall including the lid and 9 inches wide from spout to handle. It has the green BSM backstamp used by the company from 1882-1891. RARE ANTIQUE SILVERPLATED TEAPOT W/ BURNER AND TILTS WOOD HANDLES ALA1800s +
This is a rare antique teapot that we believe is from the turn of the 20th century. It could have been made in America or Europe. We aren't sure. There is a picture of the bottom of the pot where the stampings aren't clear enough to read. They are: F&F SEP" A1" Warrented" Hand Soldered" The handle appears to be wooden. From our research, if it is made in Europe, the wooden handles were obsoleted in 1830, which would place it's age to be much older. The pot sits on a base with four legs as pictured. The center of the base contains the oil pot where a wick would go. As mentioned in the condition description, the snuffer is missing. There are two keys connected by chain to the base. The keys are used to lock the teapot to the base. When pouring, one key should be removed and the pot can then be tilted forward ... morewithout taking it completely off the base. The lid of the pot is on a hinge which is soldered to the pot itself. The piece is quite tarnished which is appealing to some so, we left it that way. This very unique looking piece was a family heirloom of a friend. It was given to his mother from his grandmother. The mother passed away about 7 years ago at the approximate age of 85. This is all of the information we know about the piece which has come from our own recent research. This item is as is and as stated.
