Antique Edwardian bisque head French German doll dress trim lace & silk collars
This is a lot of 3 antique Edwardian collars that can be used for trimming a beautiful antique French or German doll. The little round silk black and white piece has a cotton lace floral trim. It is 7 inches across and 2 1/2 inches from the center to the base. The cotton lace collar is ecru with one end white. It is scalloped and measures 13" long and is the perfect length to ad a collar to your antique doll's dress. The little white end looks cute with the contrast. The lace is is beautiful. When folded into a collar it is 4" across the back of the neck. the last piece. I have no ide what it is but it would be a beautiful over skirt for a dress or even a beautiful cape or wrap for over a pretty dress. It would just need a hook or button at the neckline. This is a beautiful figurine depicting a mother lying back on a settee with her baby on her knee and a basket at her side. Their clothing is accented in gold gilt highlights and raised gold gilt beads. Approximately 4 3/4 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches wide. There is no manufacturers mark but it is most likey German in origin. There are some numbers incised into the back of the settee it looks like 3997. In excellent used condition. Just some paint rub to the gold gilt on the figurine and the raised beads. No other chips. Cracks or restorations. This larger set of Victorian bisque figurines was made in Germany in the 1890's. They measure 12" tall and are in excellent condition with no noticeable damage or repairs. They depict a boy and girl dressed in blue outfits with peach and yellow trim. It is also interesting to note that the boy has brown eyes and the girl's eyes are blue! I am calling this Butterfly Catcher. Probably dates sometime in the 1880 to 1920 time period. The figure is of a boy in a lavender jacket with a butterfly net. It is very detailed. It has a steamhole in the bottom and in the top of the tree trunk in the back. Condition is fair to good for age. Rare Antique Bisque German Schafer Vater Hungry Monk Nodder Figurine Figure
This is a rare German porcelain nodder created by the Schafer& Vater factory. It is one of two nodders I have listed this week! A fabulous hungry monk eating from his bowl! He measures 4 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches wide. Wire needs to be fixed or replaced so it goes to other side(if being picky! and I don't see any chips unless his teeth are not supposed to be as low but it looks as though it was made this way. Some wear over the years and a little discoloration near one ear. This monk could use a cleaning but he is such a great piece. Well worth it!

They have no makers mark, only numbers which are listed in my title. I know these were made in Germany and also Japan, and my guess is Germany, but I do not know for sure. She's been played with and has some worn off areas where the white shows through, ends of toes, fingertips, one cheek, crown of hair(looks like a molded bonnet) The rare dressed charlotte measures 2" and has a white gown, deeply molded facial features and nubby hair in the back. The backside has the unfinished areas typical of the charlottes. Again this one has the left hand re-glued from the fall from the basket. The fourth one is 2" tall& has wire- jointed arms& legs and wears a lacey little dress. Her right hand has been re-glued. The fifth one is 1 3/4" tall and has wire-jointed arms, and wears the original worn crocheted dress. This one made it through the tumble without any breaks. The paint wear is over-all on this doll with a lot of exposed white bisque. Wonderful, wounded group.

This is a wonderful gorgeous very RARE and SIGNED(marked) example of the bisque spill vase work of the famous porcelain bisque model artist Carl Schneider(who has worked closely with Unger and Hutschenreuther) It has the impressed mark G double arrow. With the DEP dating it to 1879- 1886 t he Early Victorian Period. Or Romantic Period, spanning 1837-1860. It is a boy figurine with a blue hat and sash leaning on a set of three columns. Gold is splashed on his necklace. Around the columns, and on the footers. There is some blue on the florals and footers as well. The top is open with deep pockets down each column to allow for the"spill" or match holder. Below is a description of a"Spill Vase" for those who are not familiar. It was usually kept on the mantle(fireplace) It was filled with rolled paper or very thin wood sticks(Spill) which where used to transfere fire from the fireplace to candles. Lamps or a gentlemans cigar. Matches being costly or dear. Carl Schneiders history and porcelain Marks(signed pieces) that verifies age: Based on a ducal concession. The businessman Carl Schneider(who had worked at the Wallendorf factory for some time) together with modelling artist Karl Unger and businessman Hermann Hutschenreuther founded their business in 1859. As Hutschenreuther was a sleeping partner. His name does not appear in the company name until 1885. At first the company only produced tableware. Miniature sets for children and a few kitchen utensils, mostly decorated in the cobalt blue'Zwiebel- and'Strohblumenmuster' styles which sometimes included gilding. This is a late 19th century Rudolstadt, makers of fine antique German porcelain, bisque statue of a loving couple flirting on a loveseat. This pair have such animated detailed faces, typical of Victorian era work in Germany and the pale pink bisque is detailed in gold and turquoise blue, particularly on their clothing, as shown. This is a nice large figurine measuring 9 1/2 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep, front to back. You are bidding on one vintage bisque figurine made in Germany. This is a boy with 3 green bugs on him. Two bugs on his hat and one on his arm. Not really sure if this means he has been standing outside a long time waiting for someone. This is a nice size piece. It measures approx 10 1/4 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches diameter across the bottom. Issues; I do not really see any real issues. 2 manufacturer defects. One one top of his hat where there is a rough spot and one around the base which would appear to be a chip but it is painted from the manufacturer over this. There are some black spots on this item. There is a little bit of gold wear. This item is marked. There is a number written in black and also a blue mark. I am not sure what the makers marks for these type of items are. So I can not tell you who made them. I will however try to ... morecapture them in a picture for you to see. I was told this was German bisque, but again, I have no way of knowing for sure. This is an adorable item. Please see all pictures. I wish I could add more than twelve pictures for some of these pieces. This is an estate sale find, actually the bisque items came from a place that attends auctions and also purchases entire estates. I recently came upon quite a few gorgeous bisque pieces. I will be listing them over the next day or so. I am not an expert. I will describe items to the best of my ability and tell you what I see. 2 Old Antique German Bisque Figurines SNOW BABIES Girl on Sled Baby in Lap
Sold as one lot of two. From estate. I am not totally sure these items originally went together because the baby does not have a very snug fit. But on the other hand the shoes look very similar. In any event, original combo or not, they do look great together. The larger of the two is about 1 3/4 inches long, 1 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall. The baby is about 1 1/4 inches tall. Both are in excellent condition with no damage or repair. The baby only is marked Germany on the bottom. US buyer adds $6.00 for USPS Priority Mail Delivery; International buyer adds $18.00 for USPS First Class Airmail delivery. I always combine purchases to save shipping costs.

A really pretty pair of tiny 3" tall antique or vintage figurines marked number 19763 Germany( the number is difficult to read but I think it is correct) marked on the bottom number and Germany in the bisque. They are hand painted and stand only 3 inches tall. The paint is beautiful and there are no chips or cracks, A French Victorian man and lady. Here is a nice old Antique Bisque Piano Baby. Looks to be German but I'm not sure as I'm certainly not an expert. There are no markings on the bottom. It was one of many in my late mother's doll collection that she had for over 50 years and I know it was considered to be an antique when she bought it. She was a very knowledgeable and avid antique bisque doll collector. One of the legs was broken in the distant past and was repaired. Looks to be just a simple glue repair. Upon further inspection. Looks like some of the raised golden dots on the collar are gone too.most likely from handling through the years. I did not see this immediately and is not obvious. Also, tops of the toes on the right leg look flat/worn down from shelf wear through the years. Still, this piano baby certainly deserves a professional repair.
