ANTIQUE ENGLISH PORCELAIN CABINET PLATES DECORATED BY JAMES ROUSE - DERBY MINTON
I have for sale a beautiful pair of Cabinet plates probably Minton. Derby or Worcester? Both appear to be by the same hand although I can find a signature only on one- that of James Rouse an important artist/ decorator of the time. Both are in superb condition with beautiful gilding(please see pics) The marks on the bases are incredibly difficult to photograph and each plate has what appear to be 3 impressed marks. On one plate the smaller marks look like a capital'H' and the Minton 1855 mark and a larger circular mark(I have tried to photograph obliquely) The other plate has two indiscernable small impressions and a similar larger circular mark. The circular mark somewhat resembles a Worcester mark but this quite outside my field of knowlwdge. These are absolutely beautiful and in super condition with some minor rubbing to gilding ... moreon very edge but not to the intricate inner section of gilding(please see pics) The postal charges quoted are for one option- I can post by other methods/costs etc Any Questions please ask

*Antique 19th Century English Armorial & Lions Porcelain Hand Painted Cup
Antique English armorial porcelain cup from the first half of the 19th century. Hand painted(NOT a print or transfer)with a central Coat of Arms flanked by a pair of rampant lions and mounted with an armorial helmet and breastplate with pennants at the top. The colors all look fresh and vibrant, which was difficult to capture with the camera. The photos do not due this piece justice. This is an oversized cup. Measuring about 3 1/8 inches high and about 4 3/8 inches across the mouth, not counting the handle. The painting is beautifully detailed and extremely well executed. The gilding is in very nice condition with no obvious wear although it does have typical hairline scratches as you can see in the photos(the gold in the photos looks a little washed out but that’s just in the photos-it’s not washed out in real life) No chips. No cracks. ... moreNo flaking or wear to the enamel. A few tiny frits from the firing process which is typical of the time period. Nothing that detracts from the piece. I haven’t had the time to research the Coat of Arms. So I don’t know if it’s from an important service or from a notable family. But it does display well and would be a wonderful addition to any collection! It is from a smoke free home. PLEASE READ: Payment must be received within 3 days of end of auction. OLD antique 19th Century English Fine MAJOLICA Art Pottery Ceramic Porcelain $$$
Up for sale here is a very hard to come by Minton majolica. Antique, figural tray depicting a Monkey holding a Basket. Bowl. The piece is glazed in yellow, dark green and various colors on the monkey. The bowl measures about 6 1/2 inches long by 5 inches across by 4 1/2 inches high. The piece has quite a few marks on the bottom including an impressed"Minton" mark. what looks like artist's initial"DN" or"DV" the letter"N" which could be a date code and there is also a blue triangle. We were trying to do some research on the mark and from what we could find the word"Minton" starting being impressed on pieces made between around 1861 to about 1873 After 1873 the word"Mintons" started being used to mark the pieces. We also think that this piece might be a piece that was not meant ... morefor production and could be a prototype piece made in a limited quantity since it does not have a mold number or a complete date code, but it does have what looks like artist initials that you find on the more higher end pieces. We were not able to find any old works like this one and we were not able to find any reproductions of this piece either. Scrolling through nearly 1500 images of auction results on the popular auction result site liveauctioneers(tm) using the key words Minton Majolica, we did not find another tray like this one and Monkey themed pieces were also found in very small quantity with the old Teapots being produced the most and only one result with a monkey tray/ holder was found. The condition of this piece is very good, no chips, no cracks other than the very fine eggshell type crackle from the firing process on the bottom that you don't see. The piece also feels quite heavy despite its delicate looking nature. If you collect nice antique and hard to find majolica this would make a nice addition to your collection. Thank you very much for visiting our ebay store. Shipping to Europe is $55.00 Shipping to Canada is $32.95. International customers are respo

CHAMBERLAIN WORCESTER old antique Fine Art PORCELAIN Tea Pot English China arts
Up for sale here is a vintage. Antique circa 1840s or earlier Chamberlain Worcester finely executed hand painted Tea Pot. We will also be listing matching cups, saucers, cream and sugar so be sure to check out our other listings) This Tea Pot is decorated in what looks like a Japanese Tea House pattern because you can see what looks like a Japanese House painted around the bottom. The Tea Pot measures 11 1/2 inches from handle to spout, 5 1/2 inches in width in the middle by about 6 1/2 inches high from the bottom to the top of the lid's finial. The Tea Pot has a red hand painted signature under the lid which reads"Chamberlain Worcester Warrant" and what looks like the pattern number 323. There are a few major condition issues to not with the piece. There is a 3/8ths of an inch chip of porcelain missing from the edge of the ... moreTea Pot's lid. The lid is not cracked or repaired but it does have the chip. There are also some old spots of tape adhesive where it looks to have had the lid taped down at one time to keep it from falling off, those spots are not major and can be cleaned. There is a 1/8th of an inch diameter chip missing from the very tip of the spout The most major defect, though it is not really visible is a 4 inch hairline stress or heat crack. The line extends from the navy blue decoration above the spout and curves around to the right diagonally to the red orange paint, it does not run around the spout and the decoration is intact through most of the hairline except for one very tiny spot behind the spot. The handle is in good shape and not damaged. The piece is also very sound the hairline appears to tight though when you gently tap the piece you can tell that it is there. This is a very elaborately decorated Chamberlains piece and is in a pattern I have not seen before. There is a lot of workmanship in it. If you collect rare English China, Chamberlains or Tea Pots this would make a nice addition to your collection despite the flaws since it is difficult to come by. Thank you very muc

Vintage Magnifying glass Porcelain English design handle antique brass carvings
This magnifying glass was given to me by a friend. This was her Mother's. It is a nice collectible item. And very useful too. The handle looks like it is made of porcelain in an English design pattern. Holding the magnifying glass itself is an antique-carved brass/metal again with an intricate design which adds beauty to the whole piece. It is 4 1/4 inches long and it is packaged in its original box. Please look closely at the photos as they form a big part of the description. Payments are accepted thru Paypal only and the item will be shipped to you within one business day upon receipt of payment.
