Antique Leeds Creamware English Pottery Candlestick Rare Form second period Offered for auction is a very hard to find second period. Circa late 19th century possibly early 20th century creamware candlestick. It is faintly marked on the base, mostly filled in with glaze, but I believe it is a"Leeds Pottery" mark. It's great looking and very intricate with a pierced foot and double twist handles. One of the leaf ends of a handle is chipped off and there is a slight amount of discoloration on the interior of the socket, but this is otherwise perfect and probably as nice as you will ever find. Antique 18th C. Leeds English Pottery Creamware Glaze Coffee Pot Embossed Faces
Antique 18th C. Leeds English Pottery Creamware Glaze Coffee Pot Embossed Faces Very hard to find small size 18th century creamware glaze coffee pot. It is unsigned but could be from the Leeds factory. It displays great but there is some old restoration and damage. There are three tight short hairlines off the rim. A repair to the edge of the foot rim to what was probably a chip and there is a small circular repair on the underside of the base that does not go through to the interior. There is also a little minor pinpoint roughness on the rim and a minor tiny glaze flake on the edge of the spout. For the record, there is a potting separation where the spout attaches to the body. It is under glaze, as made and typical. The lid has a repair to the edge that was probably a few small chips and maybe a few small chips on the flower form finial. ... moreThere is also a minor small spot on the lid next to the finial that looks like the restorer dropped a little bit of pottery and forgot about it.not sure what it is but it does not have original paint over it. It's minor as you can see in the photos. Sounds like a lot but this pot displays great and this is in better condition than most of them that turn up. Measures only 7&1/2" tall, 7" from spout to handle. Insurance is now included in the cost of Shipping. But you won't need it with our Professional Packaging! We do combine multiple purchases for lower shipping costs. Full refund if not Completely Satisfied. All items are guaranteed as described. WE WELCOME BUYERS OUTSIDE THE U.S.A! Import duties. Fine and Rare ANTIQUE DELFT CREAMWARE POTTERY BASKET WEAVE BOWL English Dutch ?
I will be listing a variety of nice Antique and Vintage Items this week. Here is an Unusual and Elaborate ANTIQUE CREAMWARE-STYLE CERAMIC BASKET with BLUE DELFT HANDPAINTED WINDMILL SCENE IN CENTER. Basket is 8-5/16" diameter. I've never seen anything quite like this fancy basket before. There are several marks on the bottom of the piece. There is what is probably a 19thC Boston Importer's green mark with a Crown over"R B. BOSTON" I doubt this is a maker's mark but likely an importer's mark. There are also a couple of impressed marks. Including an Arm with Up-Raised Sword mark and an early-looking impressed"2" I have been unable to find this particular Arm and Sword mark elsewhere in my quick research. I do not know if this is a 19thC piece of English Delftware or Dutch Delftware? Whether basket is ... moreolder than that I do not know. Very fancy and finely made antique basket however. Extra-pretty piece which is coming out of an estate which had a nice collection of early and antique pottery items. Perhaps you experts out there can identify this piece better than I. Condition: One of the top rim strips was broken off on the end and glued back on in it's history(see close-up photo) Also a chip to an edge of a strip on the underside of bowl(see last photo) Neither imperfection is that noticeable or offensive on this fancy piece. Otherwise good. I find it remarkable this delicate old piece of pottery doesn't have more imperfections than that. Will pack with care for buyer as with all my items. INSURANCE INCLUDED in the shipping total. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS will be responsible for any fees that may be due at customs- I must declare full sales value on all postal customs forms. So please bid accordingly. Massachusetts buyers pay the 6.25% sales tax. Look for my other nice Old Items I am listing as well. See listing for payment and shipping details. ANTIQUE WEDGWOOD CREAMWARE (?) COFFEE CAN/CUP IN EXCELLENT CONDITION 1896-1924
This is a very elegant coffee can. With minimal decoration, that I have had for more than twenty years. It stands 2 1/2" high, and is the same in diameter, having a nicely balanced loop handle. Apart from the age-related characteristics mentioned above, it is in extremely good condition with no chips, cracks or crackling in the glaze. On the base is an impressed WEDGWOOD with an impressed 3 above, and an impressed Y above and to the left. Although I have a fairly extensive collection of coffee cans, I am no expert and rely heavily on my reference books and Geoffrey Godden's Encyclopedia of British Pottery and Porcelain Marks, which is what I have based my dates on. I don't think it is any later than 1924, and might be earlier than 1896. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Should any kind of a problem arise, please email me ... morevia eBay messaging prior to leaving feedback, so that I can work with you to amicably and quickly resolve it. Thank you for looking.

A Fusiliers creamware pitcher sold for $11.000 at auction last year This may be a highly important ... morepiece because its so scarce? DESCRIPTION: This is quite a remarkable piece. To have survived all these years. Several Liverpool Creamware Jugs(pitchers) from England with the same design, the crest of the Boston Fusiliers have survived, and were definitely made late 1790. This has the same identical design- but the tall jug had cold paint touches of color. Whereas this is all black on creamy white. One of the 18th century jugs has a home in Boston Museum, since 1943, and one just sold last year at Skinner Auction house for $11,000! If this unique WINE DECANTER dates from the same time period. It could be a highly important piece because its so uniquely scarce. It is dated 1787, but we dont know its exact age. We have NEVER seen one like this in all our research. Perhaps through the decades, the thin neck design led to breakage through the years, making this survivor a rare piece. We wonder if this might have been made for the 100th Anniversary of the Boston Fusiliers. Patterned after the earlier jugs, making it 1887? Any info. Please share! We aim to be as correct as possible and never intend to mislead. Whether 1790 or 1887 or in between. E
