Antique Payson Mfg Co. 360 Degree Cast Iron Wooden Wheel Furniture Casters
PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION AND TERMS BEFORE BIDDING! FREE SHIPPING! Up for auction are Five antique/ vintage furniture cast iron wooden wheel casters(5) total Circa 1880’s. Recovered from an antique furniture carpenters inventory. They are we believe to be Payson Mfg Co. 360 Degree cast iron casters with wooden wheels. An extensive research of the web produced none like it and only two similar larger casters made by Payton. The casters are stamped P Mfg Co. Nov 22 81 as best as can be seen. But the full name cannot or was not included on these. Two of the five still have the original wooden wheels; the other three have fallen off. They are unique because the three 1/4” mounting holes are hidden within the skirted swivel base which holds the disc shaped Babbitt bearings. The mounting screws are screwed in via the underside access hole ... moreas it rotates around(see pictures) The wooden wheels can be replaced because casters of this era were“pinned” in place. Remove pin insert wooden wheel and reinsert pins blunting the ends. The dimensions are as follows(approximately) Overall measurements of each caster is 2- 3/4' tall by 1– 1/2'wide. Mounting Plates are 1– 1/2" in diameter and the stem insert is 1” tall. The wheels measure 1– 1/8” by 5/8” and provide 1– 3/4” overall clearance furniture. Good condition for their age. All spin freely without extensive rust issues. They were cleaned and lightly oiled and can be easily restored for authentic antique furniture restoration, but some want to maintain the antiquity and current condition so we are leaving restoration decision to you. Antique Carved Wooden Angel from old Oklahoma church
I purchased this angel along with another one from an Ebay listing about 8 years ago. I was told at the time that the angels were from a church in Oklahoma that had been demolished. That is basically all I know! Each angel is different.they look great together so check out my other listing. They measure 16" tall by about 8" wide across the wings. They are carved from wood as the pic shows and have a bit of a vintage. Shabby chic finish. If you purchase both I can discount shipping.

This leads me to believe that it may have come from a Rom an Catholic Church somewhere around Slovenia. It measures approximately 16" long and 13" tall. And approximately 16" wide. This is a very large piece, however, the item is hollow. Therefore, though heav y. It is immensely l ighter than w hat it would be solid. This can be found from looking on the back where it is mounted to the wa ll to see two small hol es on either side where wood pieces s lid into it to mount it to the wall. This item was made for bearing we ight. So it is very sturdy. It is in a green and gold color. With a rosy trim along some of the borders. The paint, unfortunately, has fla ked off in many small place s. Where you ... moreare abl e to see wood and a thin. Plaster-like substance beneath the paint. Over the wood. The wood has se parated in some places. Though not much, and there ar e some chips where the wood has broken. please see pictures for further details) This piece looks like over the years it may have been repainted to keep it looki ng f res h. Bu t it clearly had n't been repainted in a while. Noting the condition, though still in goo d shape. Th ere is one thing tha t caught our attention. T he paint has darkened and began to green/oxidize. Which makes me think, at one time. This piece may have been guilded gold. Antique Trunk Panel Union Soldier Civil War Lithograph Found Object Art Wooden This is a panel piece from an old hump-back trunk. It is a panel from the top shelf insert. I believe it was a folding door panel. The panel measures 18" x 15 1/4" in the open state. It folds closed on fabric hinges to measure 8" x 15 1/4" The panel is made of wood that is covered with decorative paper and a lithograph image of a Union Civil War soldier. The soldier has a drawn sword and sits on a spirited white horse(note the saddle is marked. U.S" The image of the soldier(including decorative boarder around him) measures 10 3/4" x 7 1/2" The panel is covered in various papers and appears to be hand crafted. The boarders are glued on strips of paper. The background paper is blue plaid on one side and a geometric design on the ... moreother side. The paper colors are red, gold, blue, and black. The lithograph of soldier is very colorful with all colors. There is some damage to the middle of the image as you can see.this where it folds in two and the years of folding have worn the paper thru. There are stains and tears to this item. but no strong smell.actually kind of a pleasant smell(maybe the wood) There is a leather tab still attached on the front side. Lot of 6 Antique Brass Claw Foot Wooden Table Legs with Rosettes
Here is a set of 6 antique solid wood table legs with rosettes on both sides of each and brass claw feet. They are all in fair condition with some dings. Scratches, and chips of wood missing from all of them, but they are all solid, sturdy, and perfectly useable or repurposeable. The finish on them is a medium reddish brown and is worn off in spots down to the bare wood. In the surfaces that were attached to a table, there are 5/8" diameter holes drilled where wooden pegs had been glued inside to reinforce the joint. On one leg, the two wooden pegs are snapped off inside and new holes will need to be drilled in order to re-insert new pegs. Some have chips missing around the holes and might require some wood filler. All rosettes are still intact on the curved part at the top of each leg and they look very good with no major chips missing. ... moreThe claws are all 100% complete with nothing broken or missing, but the metal is darkened from age and could use a cleaning. Each claw is tacked on with a small nail on each side. Aside from using these as table legs, I have seen people modify them a little to use as shelf brackets, or they could be used as legs on other furniture as well. They each measure 18" L x 2 1/4" W x 13" H(this is how high the rounded top would be if the claw was on the floor and the side was attached to a table) I will pack them very well and include shipping insurance.

Very nice pieces that were turned on a lathe an individually hand sawed off. Bug damage is minor compare to the overall quality of these feet.
