this is an extremely rare 18th century large hand carved wooden stylized horse corbels. it is pretty large and cut from a piece of solid very heavy piece of oak.i believe" which has wonderful grain, and a great patina from age. it is beautifully cut into the shape of a stylized horse with lots of deeply cut detailing. And a nice flowing shape. its extremely ornate with exquisite age. it is cut flat at the back to fit a wall. It measures 24 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 2" including the knob) As you can see from the photos this cabinet is carved by hand. The carving is rough and irregular but still beautiful in its intricacy! The pattern looks like it depicts a thistle plant inside of an arched design. You can also see that there are a couple of pieces missing from the design including one of the oval shaped designs in the top left and possibly two rectangle shaped pieces at the top of the columns below the arch. The knob also looks to have been hand carved. This door still has the original hinges which are rusted in place. The back of the door looks as though it had 2 cross ... morepieces which have been removed. The door does have some cracks developing in the bottom as you can see in the photos. Here's a pair of highly carved antique oak panels with a beautiful original finish. Of considerable size. They each measure 12" wide by 24" tall with a maximum thickness of about an inch. The condition is outstanding with the exception of a nail hole and a small edge chip on one. Probably from the sides of an impressive sideboard or cabinet. I would estimate the date of manufacture to be from about 1880 to 1900. With classic florals, urns, vines and griffins. The camera flash makes the finish appear much more shiny than in real life. Up for your consideration are these two oak or ash decorative wood panels. I am hoping the pictures will give you a better description as to condition and actual type of wood. The panels are in nice condition considering their age. There is some age cracking and other slight cracking, especially around the dowel areas. However, the panels are very solid and any cracking has not affected the panels durabilty. The panels weigh about 3 pounds each and measure 14.5" long, 11.5" wide, and.75" thick. Pair Antique Oak Matching Table Leaves 48 Inches long !
A nice pair of old oak table leaves. They each measure 48 inches long and are 8 3/16 inches wide. They are nice and straight and flat but. As you can see, need some light re-finishing. The circular stain you see is not a burn but just the bleeding of a rusty old metal can. They each have pegs and holes on the edges for a tight fit. It appears they were made in or sold in an old store in Buffalo. New York. I took a picture of the old label on the back. The edges are a standard beveled edge that are each about 1/2 of an inch wide(see photos) Can be cut to the size you need or used as is. Please do not hesitate to email with questions.

A dresser, or an armoire. It has a mortise and tenon construction, and I believe it dates back to the 1870s or before. It would make a perfect wall shelf bottom. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger. This is a lovely solid oak backboard from perhaps a small bureau. Dresser or maybe a dining room server. It has acanthus leaves across the very top with a dart design beneath that and swirled leaf or fronds motif below. It measures 40 7/8" wide at the very top. 40 3/8" at the bottom x 10 3/8" tall(not including the mounting boards which are attached to the back and protrude down below the backboard by about 5" It is 1 1/2" thick at the very top and 3/4" thick at the bottom. I would guess that it is from the 1920's. It will be packed carefully and insured which is reflected in the S&H amount.
