Machine Age cast iron adjustable table legs antique vintage old cool DIY
Here is a nice set of Kenney Bros& Wolkins cast iron adjustable table legs. They would make a great coffee table. End table, or whatever else you can dream up for them. Great industrial look to them. Legs are in great shape with no cracks or repairs. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. There is light rust in places. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The legs are 11 and 3/4" wide at the base, and 7 and 1/2" wide at the top. They adjust from 15 and 1/2" tall at the lowest to 20 and 1/4" tall at the highest. feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking.

Description Set of 4 antique cast iron and glass claw and ball feet. They are 6" tall with 3" diameter glass balls. The hole at the top is 1 3/8" at the widest and tapers smaller. Three have no cracks or big chips. One has a chip under the face and along the edge of the metal. See photo) Looks like it was factory flaw. Has air pocket in the chip. Very old chip and not very noticeable because of the jaw of the face over it. The feet fit a stand parlor type table from the turn of the century era. We have up for auction today a set of 4 M atching L arge Cast Iron Eagle Claw and Ball Bathtub Feet! They are in good condition, but not perfect. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. This is a beautiful turn of the century matched pair of genuine Kenney Wolkins signed thick cast iron table legs. They are in excellent condition with no breaks or cracks and the black paint is in good condition with moderate paint loss. They adjust from 17.5" to 24.5" and are all original with large nut screw adjustments. Screws and slides all run smoothly and they lock down nice and tight. I wanted you to see what it could look like as a desk but the wood is bad in some spots but you could easily replace the wood if you wanted it as a desk again. Before you ask the only way I would sell this complete is if you come and pick it up because it is just too heavy as is. The metal legs could make an awesome table base or whatever else you can think of. I'm not sure if they are cast iron or steel but they are heavy which is good for using as a base. They are smaller and skinnier then the legs you will find normally making them perfect for a coffee table or a side table. These legs are adjustable up to about 17 1/2 inches tall and as low as about 12 3/4 inches tall. When measuring the feet of these legs from toe to toe these legs are about 8 3/4 inches wide. Up for auction are four(4) cast iron furniture legs from the 1800's. These legs are 24" tall and about 16 pounds each. They have factory holes in the top for bolting to a table top. They are in great condition with no breaks or cracks. These were originally the legs from a milling machine from back when objects were much more ornate. Now they can be turned into a beautiful and valuable piece of custom furniture. I prefer local pick up(in New Rochelle. NY 10801, about 20 minutes west of Long Island) but if you really want them shipped, email me and maybe we can work something out by packaging the legs in individual boxes. Antique CAST IRON ADJUSTABLE LEGS 16" - 23" Industrial Stand Base
joe calcite ANDREWS CO. INDUSTRIAL AGE CAST IRON ADJUSTABLE LEGS This offering is for a pair of adjustable cast iron legs from A H Andrews Co. The legs have one inch increments cast into the metal from 24" to 32" This apparently assumes a desktop with storage would add 8" to the height. The ACTUAL HEIGHT ranges from 16" to 23"+. They also have a cast iron angle brace. Making them stronger and more stable than some legs of this type. There are a few notes about condition. The hardware holding the braces is newer, not original. The head of one of the carriage bolts used to adjust the height has a slot cut into it(photo 6) This was necessary to dismantle that leg set, as it had been put together incorrectly, and the square under the head was not aligned with the square hole intended to hold it while undoing the nut. ... moreComparing the area immediately above these bolt heads in the same photo, note the right leg is missing part of the plate that should fit over the tab. This does not effect the strength of the leg, but makes the height adjustment more of a 2 handed job. The back of this same area shown in the next photo shows the backing plate on one leg is not as wide as the other. Again, it does not effect the strength. To restate. The legs adjust from 16" to 23" Width from the outer tips of the feet is12" Width of the mounting plate is 9" Weight before packing is 18 pounds. This is a pair of antique adjustable industrial cast iron table legs. The model is THE BOSTON by CHANDLER. They are marked Pat'd JUNE 9 1896 and marked with Design Patent 1897. At their lowest adjustment they measure 16" high and at their tallest adjustment they measure 24" high. At the feet they have a width of just under 12" At the top it measures 8" wide. They are raised and lowered by loosening and tightening a nut and bolt. They are in very good condition with no damage and adjusting smoothly. They appear to have old paint in great condition with very minimal rust. Overall sturdy old legs and in very good shape. High bid pays postage.

Vintage Cast Iron Machine or Table Base The wood table height is 24" from floor and 18"wide by 29" width What a great TV stand! The cast iron base is about 21-1/2" height. The feet are 23" square at the floor. This came from a blacksmith shop and had an anvil on it but I think it originally was for some sort of belt driven machine as there is evidence of an arbor. The top shows a lot of wear and grime. There is a semi-circle section of iron that was removed from one of the legs. Please see close up on the fifth picture. On the inside of each leg there is a bracket to support a shelf. What better for a TV stand? As pictured the table weighs 100 pounds with a ship weight of 120 pounds.
