this is an extremely rare 18th century large hand carved wooden stylized horse corbels. it is pretty large and cut from a piece of solid very heavy piece of oak.i believe" which has wonderful grain, and a great patina from age. it is beautifully cut into the shape of a stylized horse with lots of deeply cut detailing. And a nice flowing shape. its extremely ornate with exquisite age. it is cut flat at the back to fit a wall. Genuine Period Antique Carved Wood Table Stand w/ Drawer Drop Pull
A genuine early period antique wood table stand. I am in a slight dilemma as to which period it is from. Could be Colonial but cannot say 100% although could be Colonial Revival/ Victorian as well. It does have the appearance and the hardware fits but I am not an expert at furniture so will leave it up to your discretion after reading description and viewing pictures. The table is 20" tall x 21 3/4" across x 12.5 deep, weighs approx 17-18 lbs. It has one drawer that pulls out from the bottom that has a flower carving on each side of it's drop pull. Drop pull and plate appear to be iron with pull itself having a pointed end with rough side surface and smooth faceted, roughly made, pointed tip(somewhat like an old handmade nail look) The drop pull is secured with a staple fastener. The drawer has the triangular cut dove tailing ... morebut odd in that the back side of the drawer's dovetailing is round, see pics. The back of the drawer are carve marked with"+L" The two sides are carved with medallions in a flower design. The legs are turned and the feet are an onion style bun feet, slightly flattened. The wood has the grain of Atlantic White Cedar but will admit I am not great at identification of various woods but when comparing some pictures it looked closest. It is in VG condition, one foot does have a crack in it, there is a small crack on the edge of one of the carved panels on the drawer, and the panel above the drawer where two side by side pieces of wood meet has a very slight space in between them. There is a small light scratch/ scuff here and there. Very nicely kept and cared for during it's 100+ years(as I don't believe it to date early then late 1800's, this I am rather sure of) I acquired this at an estate her in Charlotte where I also purchased an 1880's Minton piece which I recently sold. This ca. 1860-1875 solid walnut hand carved pediment in the rococo revival manner measures43 1/2" wide x 23" tall x 2" deep with the pierced and fruit carved removable section measuring app. 25" x 8 1/2" tall. The piece is in fairly well preserved condition with dry old refinished surface and some sratches. Gouges and scrapes from a recent move. There is a glued breaks in the openwork on one end, but no apparent loss. It most likely graced a stately bedstead or armoire and has a great rich look. ornate claw footed feet set for antique chair carved design
This is an old set of beautiful wing backed chair legs. The back two legs are plain but the front legs are beautiful claw feet with ornate carved design on upper portion and very neat looking claws around a ball design on bottom. These are two toned stained and the finish is worn. These could be stripped and restained to one's liking. Please view the photos carefully and email me with any questions you may have. The front legs measure 8& 1/2" tall not including the 1& 1/2" screw. The back feet measure 7& 1/2" tall and these have slide in rods that are almost 2" long. It measures 24 3/4" x 17 1/2" x 2" including the knob) As you can see from the photos this cabinet is carved by hand. The carving is rough and irregular but still beautiful in its intricacy! The pattern looks like it depicts a thistle plant inside of an arched design. You can also see that there are a couple of pieces missing from the design including one of the oval shaped designs in the top left and possibly two rectangle shaped pieces at the top of the columns below the arch. The knob also looks to have been hand carved. This door still has the original hinges which are rusted in place. The back of the door looks as though it had 2 cross ... morepieces which have been removed. The door does have some cracks developing in the bottom as you can see in the photos. Here's a pair of highly carved antique oak panels with a beautiful original finish. Of considerable size. They each measure 12" wide by 24" tall with a maximum thickness of about an inch. The condition is outstanding with the exception of a nail hole and a small edge chip on one. Probably from the sides of an impressive sideboard or cabinet. I would estimate the date of manufacture to be from about 1880 to 1900. With classic florals, urns, vines and griffins. The camera flash makes the finish appear much more shiny than in real life. I purchased this angel along with another one from an Ebay listing about 8 years ago. I was told at the time that the angels were from a church in Oklahoma that had been demolished. Up for your consideration are these two oak or ash decorative wood panels. I am hoping the pictures will give you a better description as to condition and actual type of wood. It is carved from one solid piece of wood with the exception of the two long pieces of wood on the back. It measures 50-1/4” long(44-7/8” without tenons) 10-7/8” high, and 1-1/2” thick(the solid board measures 7/8” thick. It’s a great piece for a project. Or just as a wall hanger. Beautiful antique wooden carved tri-foot lion claw feet for furniture repair. These are lovely and were made early. Not sure of the age, I unfortunately broke the table that they were attached to. The actual claw feet are 10 1/2" from the toes/claws to the middle base by 8 1/4" high from floor to the base. The center base piece is about 9 1/4" high by 4 3/8" wide. I believe that they're mahogany, but can't be positive. Please examine the pictures closely, there are some glue marks, etc. that show the condition better than I can describe. Thanks for looking!

An old 20" Victorian Chair Splat never used and not completely finished as you can see in the photos. It is 8" across the top and 5 1/4" on the bottom and 1" thick. I got it from a master craftsman who is in his late 80's and was forced to down size to a smaller shop and was getting rid of extra pieces he saved over the years for patterns etc. It would make nice wall hanger with a nice antique finish. It has a slight curve as you can see in the photo. This craftsman had a shop in NY City at one time years ago and once made a set of chairs for Nat King Cole.

Antique ORNATE Carved BURLED Wood VICTORIAN PEDIMENT Secretary Door Hall Tree
Up for auction is this fabulous antique Victorian carved wood arched pediment being offered"as is as found" It is in wonderful condition, though some of the burled veneer is lifting and there is one spot on the top edge of the moulding where it meets the center piece that is chipped(as seen in photo 7) It is very ornately carved with exquisite details. The 2 drop turned finials on either side of the center medallion are intact. Not sure of the wood, it is thick and solid somewhat speckled with darker spots. Exhibits superb craftsmanship. Beautifully curved multi-layer moulding. The underneath has one dowel on the bottom and 2 holes on the other side where it sat on the original piece of furniture which is long gone. This would be wonderful on a secretary, hall tree or even above a doorway. There are different layers giving it greath ... moredepth and interest. Measures along the bottom edge underneath 33 3/8 inches long, 1 inch thick and with the moulding at the sides about 2 1/2 inches thick; it is 16 1/4 inches in total height, the first lower arch is 2 5/8 inches thick, the total depth it would stick out if against a wall would be 5 5/8 inches. Up for auction is a gorgeous set of 4 antique ornately carved wooden Victorian piano legs. These amazing looking. LARGE and eye catching wooden legs have carved fruit and ornate leaf patterns carved into each leg. Each has a nice slight curving to it and a fluted/claw foot bottom. These are a matching set of piano legs#1-4 with the serial# 16357 on each leg(see photos) There are the original cast iron wheels on each leg. Each has the original wooden screw attachment(some areas have been striped of groves) The overall condition is nice for these legs, some do have more damage than others.
