It has four drawers, all quite large, and a design that gives it a "chest on chest" appearance. The chest of drawers has a gorgeous fan motif pediment at the top of the back trim, and bracket feet at the bottom. The drawers have the original drop pull brass handles.

It is done in the beautiful Eastlake style with carved accents, fluted pillars on each side at the front and a gallery top. The mirror is 51.5" top to bottom, about 2.5" front to back, and 35.5" side to side. It is a beautiful Eastlake design pier mirror that is sure to be a welcome addition to your antique collection.

Tiger Mahogany" an endangered species.saved! This is a gorgeous customized classic antique chest of 4 drawers. I restore fine antiques and make customized furniture. This beautiful chest I found as a diamond in the rough needing TLC.I fell in love with the"tiger mahogany" drawer fronts and all of the trim details. I restored this piece from top to bottom. Including custom made drawer slides/runners. Complete drawer rebuilding including gluing and clamping. The veneer was repaired as need on the drawer fronts.I added custom trim to the drawer fronts. Like a picture frame adding great detail and beauty. The hand carved Celtic circle was a custom addition. New polished nickel hardware. Notice the fluted ball feet and the original scroll trim on the lower front skirt of the dresser. The upper drawer middle trim"grille" ... morepanel is awesome as well as the trim just below the drawer. The front corner posts of the dresser are fluted.As you can easily see this dresser has many wonderful details. The drawer fronts are rare featuring exotic"tiger/curly" mahogany. This piece is very nice! I'm not sure exactly the age of this piece nor the manufacturer as their are no markings but I assume it's from the early 1900's but by no means am certain. The ornate wood carvings on the face of each cabinet are one of a kind! Beautiful antique piece perfect for an older style remodel or could be used in a restaurant location.The vessel sinks are real copper and are already have the tailpiece installed for the drain& already has small hole in the back to run the plumbing on each side! The doors open and close good and the pulls are solid. I'm not sure if the locking mechanism works as I don't have a key for it but I'm pretty certain it would work just fine. If you were to remove the sinks it would make an amazing buffet table or entry way table with a little work! It is not in perfect ... morecondition as it has a few cracks as can be seen in the closeup pics of the middle and left door but overall it looks amazing and the cracks don't affect it's durability. The front and sides. Besides the cracks pictured, are in great shape but the top around the sinks as can be seen pictured could use a light sanding and a fresh coat of stain to make the piece perfect. The Mirror is Original to the dresser and in fantastic shape, No cracks, smoke or haze. It has a 1/4" bevel around the outside perimeter. and hung via two supports, that allow it to tilt. The front legs are a lions claw foot design, the back are square. There are removable casters on all four legs. The drawer locks are skeleton keyed. All drawers open and close smooth. GORGEOUS vintage/antique mahogany two piece dresser victorian/french provincial
This is a gorgeous mahogany dresser.I'm not sure of it's age.But it's a high quality REPRODUCTION of 19th century furniture with all the details and craftsmanship.It's made of mahogany inside and out.The seven drawers have dovetail joints and four have a lock.I don't have the key but I'm sure you can have one made. Oddly enough.It has two different name brand tags in the small top drawers.One is KAPLAN of Cambridge,MA the other says the BON MARCHE' Lowell,MA It's needs some work but overall in very good condition. There are some minor scratches.Chipped veneer and chipped molding as seen in the pics.There's also some indentations on the top from someone using it as a writing surface but this piece is fairly tall so it's not that noticeable.However,this can easily be removed once stripped and sanded if ... moreyou choose to repair it. Beautiful example of waterfall style art deco dresser set. The finish is original. All parts as far as I can determine are original. The vanity dresser has added support on the back of the mirror itself and the ornate part of the vanity where the mirror rests. As you can see in photos 7& 8 the wooden supports are not very attractive. These can easily be replaced. I didn't bother because no one sees behind the dresser, but if you are planning to resell, it would be advantageous to replace the supports. It is quite possible that the supports are not really needed, and that they were added as a preventative measure. The mirror itself is in excellent condition. The high boy dresser is missing two very small pieces of wood- see photo 6. The top right edge of bottom drawer and the lower right edge of the second to bottom drawer. I did not ... moreuse stain to hide it. I did not doctor it in any way. I will leave that to you the new owner of these lovely dressers. The wood is in wonderful condition.
