There is a small metal'button' foot welded on the end of each leg. These legs are made differently than is typical. Which can be seen in the photos. This attachment system seems to be stronger/ sturdier. Also, it allows for the legs to be spread or squeezed slightly when attached to get a thinner or wider appearance. These have all been wire brushed. Rust primered, and sprayed with one coat of black enamel. The result is a nice clean finish. However, i may well have missed a few spots, and there will likely be dings from shipping, so anticipate a second coat of black. I have a complete set of four ball and claw style feet for free standing bath tubs. These are very heavy cast iron. Each foot weighs about 3 pounds! Here are a couple of measurements for you: Height: About 6.5 inches Width at claw and ball: About 3 inches Width opposite claw: About 5 inches Length of tub mount: About 3.75 inches Length of tub slot in mount: About 2 inches As you can see in pic number 5. One of the feet has two metal pieces taped to the back. These are the only two present. I am assuming that they have something to do with the mounting of the pieces to the tub. I am not certain but someone obviously taped them on there for a reason. I do not think that the finish is original. It appears that they have been primed. A set of 4 unusual style porcelain casters. The porcelain wheel is apr. 1 7/8 inch in diameter and apr. 1 1/4 inch wide. The overall height is apr. 5 inches with the shaft part being 3 inches long. One of the casters has some chips on both side of the wheel by the hub/ axle part which is shown in a close up. The chips do not affect anything. The porcelain does show wear/ staining? where it made contact with the floor. The porcelain will need a good cleaning with the proper cleaner. The pictures should show the rest. Vintage Set of 4 Brass Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage brass wheel casters with brass yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 9/32 inch inside diameter 1.5 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. Vintage Set of 4 Steel Wheel Casters Swivel around the Stem
Set of 4 vintage steel wheel casters with steel yokes have swivel posts in good working condition. These casters measure 2.75 inches long including the post. The caster posts are meant to fit inside a socket with 1/4 inch inside diameter 1 3/8 inches long. They would be used to support a mid weight piece of furniture and raise its height by 1.25 inches. A caster set like this could have been used on a table where the post was inserted into a socket in the leg. The socket could have been metal or just a hole drilled in the wood as sometimes seen on contemporary furniture. Please view the pictures carefully. Set 4 red wood 1 5/8" Furniture Casters Wheels replacement vintage/antique new
This is a set of 4 new replacement wood furniture casters. The wheels are 1 5/8" in diameter. 3/4" width and the post is 1.5" long making the entire unit around 3.75" tall. Once you install this unit it will make you chair/furniture sit about 2 1/4" off the ground. I do not have mounting brackets for these units as the stem is a little wider than a standard unit so the auction is just for the wheels.

The measure 6 1/2" across, the bracket sticks out about 2 1/2" by 1 1/2" the slot opening is 1 3/4" long by 1/2" wide. They stand about 8" tall. They seem to be in very good condition, minimal paint loss, don't know if the paint is original or not. The set of four feet weigh almost 22 pounds. These are extremely rare! I've only seen ones with clear marbles! You are bidding on a set 4 vintage/ antique handmade marble claw feet for a table. They measure approx 4" tall and the opening for a table leg is 1" The marbles are swirled with a variety of colors in them. One of the marbles is in poor condition and has some cracks in them although it is still in one piece. Vintage hairpin legs 12" set 4 table chair Eames metal midcentury modern atomic
Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair.
