Each caster measures 2 7/8" tall and the steel wheel has a 2" diameter by 1" wide. The mounting plate measures 3" by 1 3/4" This pair was purchased at auction from the closing of the Historic Hershey Chocolate Factory Plant in Hershey. PA. 4 + 2 Antique Industrial Brass Cup Swivel Casters Furniture Wheels
Lot includes 4 matching plus 2 matching antique brass cup/ swivel casters. One of the larger casters is locked up- both the swivel and the wheel. The larger ones have wheels that are just under 1 3/8" wide and 5/8" thick- the cups are 1 1/2" wide to the outside edges(inside is just under 1/4" wide and it tapers down) the cups are 1 1/4" tall. And the entire piece is about 2 3/4" tall. The smaller ones have wheels that are just over 1 1/8" wide and 7/16" thick- the cups are just over 1 1/4" wide to the outside edges(inside is about 1 1/8" and it tapers down) the cups are just over 1 1/8" tall, and the entire piece is about 2 7/16" tall.

Antique set of 4 cast iron furniture casters 1.75" wheels hardware lot
This is a matched set of 4 cast iron furniture casters. The wheels are 1- 3/4" in diameter. The tapered shanks are 2- 3/4" long and just about 1/2" in diameter at the base. These will raise a piece by 2 inches. The casters roll freely. They have some surface rust, and they are not bent or otherwise damaged. One of the casters has a little paint on it(see 2nd photo, 2nd caster from left) This is a nice useful set. If you have any questions. Please ask.

Here are 2 sets of 4 vintage casters. One lg. 1 sm. The large are 2" high and the wheels are 2" in diameter. The smalls are 1 5/8" high and the wheels are 1 1/4" in diameter. All 8 work fine, wheels all turn and they all spin around a complete 360 on ball bearings. Each has 4-hole hardware for attachment. Condition on all is very good, all 8 could use a light cleaning, I'm selling these right out of the garage I found them in. You are bidding on one lot of four seemingly very old casters by the Phoenix Caster Company of Indianapolis. They are cast metal and each caster has two 1.25” metal wheels. They are each about 2” total height with a 2.25” x 1.75” platform with four holes to screw or bolt into the furniture. These are old casters and have some storage grime. Light surface rust, and scruffs and scratches. They need a thorough cleaning but all are in good sturdy condition. There are 8 wheels total and all turn freely and the platform pivots as well. Here is a nice little set of replacement casters. Made just like the old ones which were on the antique oak dressers, washstands, and all sorts of furniture of the time. The little wooden wheels are 1 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the stem is 1 and 1/2 inches long, and the caster sleeves are just under 1 and 1/4 inches long. Regarding the caster sleeves, some of you may not need to replace this part(which is usually in your favor) as long as the casters will fit firmly in your existing sleeves. You will receive 4 casters and 4 sleeves, as shown in the photographs. These are a nice way to replace old, damaged, rusty, or simply lost ones. For sale is a lot of 4 victorian style porcelain casters with cast iron fittings. The size is 5" tall and the caster is about 2" wide and 1.5" on the roller side. The porcelain is quite dirty. Has a few small areas of discoloration but generally very nice. They all roll well and would be perfect for that vintage furniture piece. Pl ease email me with any questions. Nice group of 4 matching steel casters. Each measuring about 3 inches from top of the post to bottom of the wheel. Wheels are approximately 1 and 3/16 inches in diameter. Traces of the original brass plating remain. Need some clean up but all turn well and look great. We are happy to combine shipping so take a look at our other auctions for more casters.
