I could find no damge. See image for manufactures marks. Approx. 8.75" diameter and 11" to the handle and 5.25" high. Age is somewhere between 1874 to 1896. Brownhills. Between Longport& Tunstall. Brownhills: The packhorse lanes through Brownhills: One of the main pack-horse roads, which left Hanley by Woodisun(Marsh Street) Brook Street(off Marsh Street North) connected with the lane from Newcastle and wound through Cobridge and the lower end of Hot Lane, Burslem, where it branched; one route going approximately via the present Nile Street, Burslem, and the other, a narrow lane behind, and to the west of what is now Waterloo Road, but which was then a portion of the adjacent fields. Passing Cross Hill and in front of the church yard, it ran by Bournes Bank, a steep incline, to Swan Square. From here the road probably traversed ... morethe slope by way of St. John's Square, or through the Market Square, on to Hill Top. From thence it went down the narrow steep passage of the Back Sytch, past the Sytch Water Mill on the Brownhills Hall estate and past the hall, where it would join the road from Newcastle and Longport, into Tunstall and the north. From Burslem, the Mother Town of the Potteries, an important pack-horse road ran from the Market Square, as already mentioned, via Pack-Horse Lane, winding by St. Paul's Church, Dalehall, via Trubshaw Cross, fording the stream at Longbridge(Longport) by the present road past a group of houses called Longbridge Hayes. This listing is for a Victorian Chamber Pot ~ an especially attractive one with a delicate blue floral decoration. Embossed design and gold trim on both the base and the lid! The base decoration has some fading. The lid is brighter in color probably as the base was washed frequently and the lid was not! Also, the underside of the lid has some discoloration on one side that you can see in the picture. The base and lid measure 8 1/2" in diameter; 10 1/4" including the handle. It stands 8" tall. This is a RARE find and a MUST have for most any collector! A true piece of history! This is a VERY high quality antique late 1700's to early 1800's MELLOR ETRURIA Chamber Pot commode with Lid and inset dish. It is obvious this was created for the very wealthy as it is hand painted in hues of soft teal blue floral pattern and trimmed in gold gilding gilt. The attention to detail and repousse decoration embossed all along the body and lid! The more lavishly decorated chamber pots with this type of decoration can be found in museums. There is an additional piece. A smaller bowl that sits perfectly inside the large chamber pot but may be a spittoon or hair receiver or perhaps even an easy lift out insert for the chamber pot. This Wood& Son chamber pot is in remarkable condition given its age. Mfg'd in England circa 1890 this item is a vintage example of flow blue craftsmanship. The bas relief Trilby pattern is further enhanced by the deep cobalt of the flow blue design and brightly accented by the GOLD decoration. For your consideration today is a wonderful blue and white ironstone pottery chamber pot with lid. This pot was produced by the John Maddock& Sons Potteries. Staffordshire England. It is true vintage and in excellent condition overall with no chips or cracks- there is fine crazing all over but the shiny glaze on the pot and lid is still very nice. This chamber pot retains its original lid. The lid and single pot handle are enhanced by a leaf and vine motif molded into the pot. The blue bands on the lid and pot are surrounded by a fine line of goldtone highlights. This pot is approx 8 inches tall at the top of the lid knob. Diameter of the pot is approx 8 inches, 10 inches across at the single handle. Very attractive and collectible, this would be a fine addition to your blue and white or ironstone collection. This is a smaller size then most I haveseen. It is only 6 inches across the top. I dont know if it was for a chair or what but it seems like it would be to small to use for a baby. VICTORIAN MADDOCKS LAMBERTON WORKS, BLUE WASH BASIN CHAMBER POT, SET OF 4
This set of cobalt blue transfer ironstone“sanitary ware” was produced by the Maddocks Lamberton Works in 1893-94 in Trenton. NJ as indicated by its backstamp. The firm added the name Royal Porcelain because the original owners of the firm were trained in England. It includes a highly decorated large basin with seaside scenes, a matching covered chamber pot, tall mug, and covered soap dish. The only imperfections are the blue smudges from the transfer process(See photos#5 and#7) Otherwise all pieces are in perfect condition with no cracks or chips, only normal crazing from their age.

This one is a pretty white pot with pink roses cascading from a basket held with blue ribbons. And little rose accents on the side, and a smaller version on the back(SEE PHOTOS) Measures: 9 1/2" across plus 2" for handle) x 5 1/2" deep. This chamber pot looks great with a flowering plant inside! Overall EXCELLENT condition: This pot has very little crazing in the glaze. I am no expert but I believe this is what is called Flow Blue. The background is not a white but rather maybe a very light blue. It has a raised pattern on the white background underneath the blue flowers. Some of the blue flower design spills over into the top of the lip onto the inside. This is a small 3 1/4" tall by 6" long including front rim to back of handle by 5 3/4" diameter outside rim to outside rim. Child size enamelware chamber pot. It is enameled metal and some in white with a blue rim and handle. This was obviously made as a chamber pot, versus a decorative reproduction, because of the nice wide tapered in rim. This is for an antique blue and white chamber pot. There are some minor imperfections. Which Ive tried to show in close ups. There are a few small chips, but no cracks, or crazing.
