This is an antique Porcelain Enamelware Chamber Pot by Federal of the United States of America. It has the original lid and has the classic color scheme of white with red trim. The wire bail is in excellent condition and the wooden red handle is very nice too. I would say that it should hold up to about 1-1/2 gallons. It stands approximately 8 inches in height to the rim and is 9-3/4 inches in diameter at the lid rim. There are some chips in the porcelain enamelware finish. That lend to it's country vintage charm.
