This is a wonderful antique Semi-Vitreous porcelain chamber pot. It is a lovely rusty orange and white around the outside and all white on the inside. It has a scrolling accent design around the center of the outside and a handle with some scroll designs also. The bottom is marked with the green stamp mark of the bird with wings spread and the words. semi-vitreous porcelain" written around it. Underneath that is says, K.T. H. Co. This old pot is in good condition for its age. It does have some crazing on the inside bottom, but not bad. Around the outside, there are some paint scratches and scuffs. The bottom base edge has two 1/2" to 3/4" chips along its edge. But that is it! This piece is very old and looks pretty good for its age. It measures 10" across including the handle and 8 1/2" across the top of the pot. ... moreIt is 6" deep. This is a very nice, collectible piece that is heavy and solid. Antique Vintage White HUGE Gold Trim Semi Vitreous Chamber Pot Water Cooking
Up for sale is an Antique White Ironstone HUGE Chamber Pot or Cooking Pot. I'm not quite sure what the general use of this was. It could have been used as a chamber pot purpose, cooking or even just to hold water. It is enormous, the largest of its kind I have ever seen. It also comes with the rare lid! It is approx. 12 in tall by 13 in wide with the handles. It is marked with a stamp and Semi Vitreous on the bottom. But I cannot make out the maker. It is in fair to good condition. Considering its age. There is a large crack with some webbing of the cracks on the inside bottom. There is also another 3.5 in crack on the one side. Huge crown semi-vitreous Warranted Chamber pot white W/ Pink flowers
This is a huge Chamber pot that is one of the things I need to find a home for from my Aunts house. It has been in her home as long as I can remember, it is a White with pink flowers, it has a lot of cracks and glued back pieces, I show them all in the pictures, the stamp on the bottom is in the picture, I really don't know the history of this pot. My Aunt is in her 80's and she said it was from the Edwardian Era, it measures 12 inches high by almost 15 inches wide across the front in the widest part. The circle opening is almost 8 inches. There is some raised embossing,and there is some gold touches on the rims and handles, and the base. There is some crazing on the bottom and on the inside. It is in good condition for it's age and years of use although it does have some minor scratches. 1 small 3mm chip on edge of handle, 1 1cm x 1/2cm chip on bottom edge of pot, and 1 crack from age on the inside bottom of the bowl 3.5cm long. 1800'S ANCHOR POTTERY FLORAL Chamber Pot Antique Vtg Semi Vitreous Porcelain
LATE 1800'S LARGE CHAMBER POT WITH COVERED LID- MADE BY ANCHOR POTTERY IN TRENTON. NJ This chamber pot is large and has a beautiful floral print on the front. Back and top lid. The bottom is marked with the'Anchor Pottery Logo- Trenton. NJ. I date this to the late 1800's. That is my guess. It is in good condition. There is hardly any crazing. The glaze and color is vibrant. There is a chip on the edge of the underside of the lid(see photo) This cannot be seen when the lid is on the chamber pot. What a lovely addition this would make to your decor. This is the real deal. Antique K T & K & Co.Semi Vitreous Chamber Pot with Lid and Covered Soap Dish
A lovely and rare antique Knowles. Taylor& Knowles& Co. Semi-Vitreous Porcelain chamber pot with lid and matching soap dish with lid. The back stamp on the pieces date them from 1890-1905. W. Knowles opened a small pottery in Liverpool. Ohio in 1854. In 1870, he was joined by John Taylor and Homer S. knowledge. The operation expanded over the next two decades. By 1890, the company was the largest manufacturer of white granite plain and decorative ware. These pieces would have most likely been sold as part of a Toilet Set or Toilet Ware collection often sold through catalogs in the 1800's to early 1900's. Pieces this decorative would have been used in private homes or hotels. Beautiful creamy white ground with transfer printed design of delicate blooms in a soft green hue. The handles on the lids and chamber pot are delicately ... morescalloped and scrolled. The edges of the lids and feet of each piece are delicately scalloped as well. There is raised embossing designs that cover the pieces as well which helps to make the florals come to life. Amazing antique condition. There is some small spots of staining to the interior of the chamber pot along with the age- related craquelure or crazing that is so common of porcelain pieces of this age. There is also a small chip to the underside of the lid of the pot. This small chip cannot be seen unless you hold the lid upside down. The soap dish also shows age-related crazing and some some staining to the interior. I have taken many detailed photos. So please examine for condition. Amazing and rare examples of antique American made porcelain. Would make beautiful additions to any fine antique porcelain collection. Would make stunning display pieces in a powder room.
