Antique Staffordshire blue & white transfer ware octagonal chamber pot 1840-1860
This chamberpot is"cold white" and blue. With no markings except a small impressed"O" on the bottom. It is 9 inches wide. Not including the handle, and 6 inches tall. It's quite heavy. The transfer ware pictures are the same on both sides; and there's a chip under the lip of one side(1.75" x a little more than one half inch) As shown in the photo, and a very tiny chip at the top of the handle. The pot was used to hold plants. So the inside is somewhat dirt stained, but I imagine bleach would fix it. The pot was evaluated by a professional. Who wrote the following: This is an old English chamber pot made in Staffordshire. Possibly by a company named Ashworth that was taken over by another one called Masons Iron stone China. The transfer ware design is a give away clue. Made at the height of the British Raj ... moreit depicts what people in England imagined what life in the colonies in the Far East was like. The temple. For your consideration is this really lovely blue and white ceramic chamber pot. It is English in origin and the makers mark on the bottom reads. Ridgways England Semi Porcelain" and I think under that is reads" Dog. Rose" The pot measures about 6" high and about 9" in diameter. It has a raised pattern on the white background underneath the blue flowers. Some of the blue flower design spills over into the top of the lip onto the inside. It is in excellent age appropriate condition. There are no chips. Cracks or nicks. There is an unglazed spot which was a flaw in the making underneath the lip. Stilt marks, crazing caused by quick temperature changes, pigment or glaze skips, grit specks under the glaze, clay cracks made during the firing process, firing separations, etc. are examples of the type of manufacturing imperfections that can occur. I have checked and can not find this pattern. On the last pic you can see the hair line crack that is in top. There is a bit of crazing at the top of the bowl. There is a smear in the blue transfer at the edge of the cover. There are some minor flea bite chips on the rim of the cover. All of these areas show clearly in the photos. So please look closely to make your own determination of the condition. This chamber pot is 9" in diameter and is 11" across to the handle. Antique Victorian Ironstone Chamber Pot and Pitcher Transferware Blue & White
I am offering for auction this very nice white and blue transferware Chamber pot and pitcher. They are in good vintage condition. The pot and the pitcher have few flaws. A couple of small dark spots inside. There is no printed or incised makers marks. Most likely the pieces are American or English in origin. The lid has crazing and chips and stains from use. Antique Chamber Pot / Planter Keeling & Co Losol Ware England Blue & White
This is an antique chamber pot made by Keeling& Co. in England about 100 years ago under their Losol Ware trademark. It would make a beautiful planter. It has a glossy glaze and gold trim on the handle and top and base rim. The pot has a 10 inch diameter and stands 5-1/4 inches high. It is in very good condition; no chips. Cracks, crazing or scratches.

This auction is for an antique chamber pot by W. H. Grindley& Co. The registration number is 2194? the last number or letter cannot be read. However, there are two marks like the top of an"M" This chamber pot is white with a rich, deep blue floral and a raised art nouveau design of swirls. It also has four rectangular panels of sprayed antique gold, along with sprayed gold on the outer edge and highlighting the raised design. This is truly a gorgeous chamber pot. It measures 10 1/8" in diameter and stands about 7" high. There is a brownish line about 1/4" long which looks like it took place in the making, but may be a stain. 3 Triumph" appears in blue letters on the bottom, as well as"31" and an"F. ANTIQUE c1896 WOOD & SON Semi Porcelain CHAMBER POT England TRILBY Blue & White
This Wood& Son Trilby chamber pot is in excellent condition. Wood" Son" vs and"Sons" dates this piece between 1891& 1907. Other than a superficial shallow chip on base where it sits no damage. Very clean with very little wear. It is the Trilby pattern in blue. It stands about 5 1/4" high with a rim diameter of 8 1/2" and about 11" from far side to handle. It weighs 2 lbs 10 ounces. A very nice antique. I have taken photos from several sides and angles. Please view them as they often speak for themselves. Please ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. Large Enamelware Chamber Pot. White with blue trim and wire bail with wooden handle. Measures 9 1/2" tall x 9 3/4" top diameter, with lid on measures approx. 11 1/2" to top.
