Up for auction is a Vintage Antique ENAMELWARE CHILD'S CHAMBER POT ~ ~ Circa 1930s-40s ~ Maker mark appears to be"AM or MA" the outside is a robbins egg blue with a black stripe around the rim and inside is off white. There is a small chip inside the size of a pinhead. See pictures. This pot is in beautiful condition. ~ This potty was probably used in a wooden potty chair. Chamber pot was probably used for more than one child in a family ~ Would make a great planter or flower holder for a nursery ~ Good luck!

this is the real deal- when the family farm was sold in the 40's my mother in law took it away. It is the Royal Ironstone series and is made of porcelain and heavy! It comes complete with the lid. It's a great piece! The chamber pot measures 9 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. It has an interesting handle and knob on top of the lid. The floral design is on both sides and extends to the lid. It looks like it had gold paint along the edge. I like how the porcelain is shaped along the top and bottom of the pot and on the lid. It's a beautifully made piece! The chamber pot is in good condition. The design has endured well for its age. Up for auction is an antique chamber pot in flow blue made in the 1890's. It was purchased by me in London in an antique store in 1968. The original price tag is still with the pot. I didn't know at the time what I was buying and thought it was some kind of vase. In my travels in England later on I discovered its nature because I stayed in some hotels that had chamber pots under the beds. It was used as a vase for many years. The dimensions are: circumference at the lip; 8.5 inches; circumference at the lower bulge; 9.25 inches; height; 5.5 inches. It is in excellent condition having only small ding on the underside of the bulge. About 3 mm long. It was originally gilded, but most of the gilding has been worn off. Offered is a great vintage enamelware child's potty or chamber pot in dark blue with a white interior made in Poland in great condition for a piece of vintage enamelware. There is no missing enamel; there are some scratches on the bottom and some minor rough spots along the outside upper edge. There is a small pea size blemish on the outside that shows up as a lighter blue which is a manufacturing defect. The bottom is marked in white with a teapot MADE IN POLAND 18;and this potty measures 7" in diameter at the top. 4" in diameter at the bottom, and 3-3/4" tall. Vintage Chamber Pot Enamel on Steel White w/ Blue Trim and Lid Black Wood Handle
Vintage. Antique porcelain enamel on steel, enamelware chamber pot. The base has gently curving sides in white with a line of blue trim around the top rim. It's large enough and sturdy enough to sit on(of course) The lid fits well and is also white with blue trim. There is a wire handle on the base that has a rotating, black wooden handle and it also has an assist pour handle on the side. It stands about 9 1/2" tall, is 10" wide and weighs just under 3 pounds. It came from an estate sale and it's not marked for manufacturer or age. It's clean and in good condition. There is one little nick in the porcelain and a few small rust spots. The metal handle is rusty and it's left rust stains down both sides. There is some staining on the inside. All questions are welcomed. This interesting little bowl is not for soup. It is a child's chamber pot(a potty) It is 5.75 inches in diameter across the top and just over 3 inches tall. Presumably this is for a boy because it has light blue piping around the rim. The bottom is stamped"KRUEGER. N.Y. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF. MADE IN THE U.S.A. The pot seems to be made of tin that is coated in Porcelain or enamel. There is rust around the rim. Around the edges and seem of the handle, and there are several other rust spots on the outside and inside. Antique Staffordshire blue & white transfer ware octagonal chamber pot 1840-1860
This chamberpot is"cold white" and blue. With no markings except a small impressed"O" on the bottom. It is 9 inches wide. Not including the handle, and 6 inches tall. It's quite heavy. The transfer ware pictures are the same on both sides; and there's a chip under the lip of one side(1.75" x a little more than one half inch) As shown in the photo, and a very tiny chip at the top of the handle. The pot was used to hold plants. So the inside is somewhat dirt stained, but I imagine bleach would fix it. The pot was evaluated by a professional. Who wrote the following: This is an old English chamber pot made in Staffordshire. Possibly by a company named Ashworth that was taken over by another one called Masons Iron stone China. This is an unusual slop pot or chamber pot in a very pale blue. It was made in Burslem. England where Mellor, Taylor Co. was located. The stamp/mark on the bottom dates it specifically to 1887-1904. There are no chips or cracks of any kind. Inside or out. It weighs 6lbs. Very heavy ironware. It measures 11"wide and 7.5" tall. The bowl is 8.25"inches wide.

Very Sriking Flow Blue pattern accented with a bright red poppy and green foiliage on one side and the rim. Other side does not have green accwnts. There are gold accent lines. But some areas have faded especaially by the handle.No crazing,cracks or chips. Tiny manufacturing flaw on the side of the rim to the left of the handle mentioned for accuracy.
