Measures 6 1/8" wide from the spout to the opposite side by 5 1/8" from handle to opposite side by 2 3/8" tall. Base rim is 2 1/4" diameter. Cup opening at the top has a scalloped edging and inside 5 strainer holes that lead out to the spout for pouring and feeding into person's mouth. Plain white porcelain without any decorations or colorations. Condition is as you see in the photos. The while porcelain china has crackle which is typical with old age. NOTE: at the spout tip there are a few tiny nips on the end. I tried to photograph but it was difficult because so small and underneath. There is also a hairline inside the cup bowl at top that does not extend to outside so it may be original to when the feeder cup was made. A few knot imperfections also from time it was made. Small marks. Rub and scuff on base rim. Feeder cup is not dated. However, you can tell by the maker's mark, crackle, and aging that it is old. I am estimating circa 1900 and could be a bit earlier like late 1800's I just can't be sure. It is pre-owned, old and was used so buyer will be someone who understands current condition and is ok with it. Item is being sold“as is” as was found. Crown and unicorn, with CHARLES MEAKIN ENGLAND under it. This printed mark was used on the earliest pottery made at the Burslem Works location. From 1870 to 1882. There are a few expected minor anomalies inherent with hand-made pottery. The inside is quite clean. Close inspection reveals very minor scratches on the bottom from use over 130 years ago. The glazing on the exterior is very nice There are no chips on the top edge. As shown in the photos. There is a very small crack at the top right side of the handle that appears to have been glued, possibly prior to glazing. This is not very obvious to the eye when on display, and in my opinion it is a minor visual issue. I have tried to be as complete as possible in my description. But I'm not an antique expert and have assessed this chamber pot based on the research I have done. Please look carefully at the photos. As they are part of the description. Because of the age of this item. It will be sold AS IS and returns not accepted. so if you have any questions at all about the condition of this piece, please be sure to ask before purchasing so there are no surprises. There is one small chip on the base ring(see last picture) No other chips or cracks. I did clean this with soap and a soft cloth, I was afraid to use anything abrasive but it does still need some cleaning inside. Nice and clean on the outside. Measures 8 1/2" in diameter, 5" tall. The makers mark underneath is the royal arms surmounted by the words ROYAL PATENT IRONSTONE and beneath. In three lines, WILKINSON& HULME, LATE RICHARD ALCOCK, BURSLEM, ENGLAND. see 5th and 6th pictures for mark) I do combine shipping on multiple purchases.

VERY NICE VINTAGE CHAMBER POT! JOHNSON BROTHERS! MADE IN ENGLAND! WITH LID! NICE BLUE FLOWER AND STEM DESIGN! This is a vintage chamber pot that was made by Johnson Brothers in England. It is the Royal Ironstone series and is made of porcelain and heavy! It comes complete with the lid. It's a great piece! The chamber pot measures 9 inches tall and 11 1/2 inches wide. It has an interesting handle and knob on top of the lid. The floral design is on both sides and extends to the lid. It looks like it had gold paint along the edge. I like how the porcelain is shaped along the top and bottom of the pot and on the lid. It's a beautifully made piece! The chamber pot is in good condition. The design has endured well for its age. These chamber pots are very collectible and rare. Especially with the lid. This one also has a crocheted lid cover. There is a chip on the lid(mostly on the underside) and a few small cracks on the lid. The pot has no chips, cracks, damage, or repairs. The pot is 5" high and with lid approx 7 1/2" high. The bowl part is approx 8 5/8" across and from the handle across is approx 11" I really like this piece but we will be moving in 3 years and we are downsizing. This is a very heavy piece.

I got this antique ironstone chamber pot from an estate sale in Ohio. This was quite dirty and I cleaned it up some. It had a note taped inside that I will send along with it. It tells who it belonged to and has it dated 1824. One side of the pot has some black stains that look like mildew. It isn't pitted. So it's possible this may come out with further cleaning. This is a listing for an Alfred Meakin Royal Ironstone chamber pot with its lid. It dates from 1881-97. Based on the pottery mark. The handle of the lid is a flower and leaf design. This design repeats on the handle of the pot. The pot and its lid are in excellent condition with just a few issues. There is a crack starting at the top part of the handle where it attaches to the pot. There is a spot on the handle of the lid where the glaze is missing. I believe it chipped off likely because of an air bubble underneath it. There is one small glaze pit on the rim of the lid. The outside of the pot has a small amount of scuffing. The interior has some minor scratching and wear to the glaze on the bottom of the pot. Please study the pictures for details. I have finally convinced family and friends to stop bringing stuff for me to sell as I have enough already! If you buy this 136 year old chamber pot no one will ever be able to clain you don't have a pot to p* in. Enoch Wedgwood was a distant cousin of Josiah Wedgwood. He founded his pottery in 1860 and it continued into the 20th century intil being absorbed into the Wedgwood Group. The pot stands 8-1/2" with lid and is about 10-1/2" long. The bowl is 8-1/2" One small inderglaze chip on the foot of the pot. A scratch on the lid and crazing to the glaze. The Wedgwood& Co. Royal Stone China stamp is on the bottom as is a British registry mark for 1877. Inside ... moreand out you can see 3 equidistant stilt marks from when the glaze was applied. I NEVER use the chamber pots for food service! But they are great to hold small potted plants and for other purposes. Some of them are just so beautiful! I have just had it displayed in our home, a beautiful piece to add to any antique vintage decor collection. It has the casting marks inside. The 3 dots inside the pot, and the natural casting marks on the ourside. Wonderful detail on the pot and cover. There is no crazing. Cracks or missing pieces that I can see. A jordan, a jerry, a po(possibly from French: pot de chambre) a piss pot, a potty, or a thunder mug) is a bowl-shaped container with a handle, and often a lid, kept in the bedroom under a bed or in the cabinet of a nightstand and generally used as a toilet at night. In Victorian times, some chamber pots would be built into a cabinet with a closable cover. A.J. Wilkinson(Arthur J. Wilkinson. Royal Staffordshire Pottery) was a pottery or potbank at Newport in Burslem, England. The pottery had formerly been operatedby Richard Alcock. Who enlarged the works extensively. On Alcock's death in 1881, the owners became Wilkinson& Hulme ... moreand in 1885 to Arthur J. Wilkinson. The works at first produced earthenware for the home market. Antique white chamber pot made in the late 1800's Very nice condition for its age! Bowl measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 1/4 inches tall Handle extends out another 2 inches and is approx. 4 inches tall Marked ROYAL IRONSTONE CHINA with the stamp of the lion. Crown and unicorn, with CHARLES MEAKIN ENGLAND under it. This printed mark was used on the earliest pottery made at the Burslem Works location. From 1870 to 1882. There are a few expected minor anomalies inherent with hand-made pottery. The inside is quite clean. Close inspection reveals very minor scratches on the bottom from use over 130 years ago. The glazing on the exterior is very nice There are no chips on the top edge. As shown in the photos. There is a very small crack at the top right side of the handle that appears to have been glued, possibly prior to glazing. This ... moreis not very obvious to the eye when on display, and in my opinion it is a minor visual issue. I have tried to be as complete as possible in my description. But I'm not an antique expert and have assessed this chamber pot based on the research I have done. Please look carefully at the photos. As they are part of the description. Antique Victorian Alfred Meakin England Royal Ironstone China Chamber Pot
This very nice Victorian chamber pot is an English classic as it was part of every home in England during the Victorian period and until modern sewage systems introduced the flush toiled around 1900. This pot may also have been brought to the US during this same period and used as well. It is made from Ironstone with a fine high gloss finish and has a beautiful transparency to it(pictured#1. 2, 4) The under glaze is white and the over glaze is very thick making it transparent looking. It has some vertical lines around it giving it style and a broad serif handle(pictured# 3) It has a raised, curled rim around the top as these pots were used to catch poddie and were usually kept in a wooden commode uncovered. Covered commodes were often much more ornate and sometimes painted with colored glazes and floral patterns these were kept outside of ... morea commode most often in the bedroom near wash stands. Today commodes like this one are used for floor ornaments. Bed/bathroom décor, indoor& outdoor planters or just for fun. It measures 5 1/4" tall X 8 1/2" in diameter around the top and 4" deep. Antique Alfred Meakin White Royal Ironstone Chamber Pot with Lid Excellent Cond!
Presented for your consideration this antique white ironstone chamber pot with lid. It has a simple ornate design on the top and side handles and a simple panel motif around the outside. It was made in England by Alfred Meakin as part of the Royal Ironstone Pottery line. It measures 7-1/4" tall including the lid and 10-1/2" across including the handle. It is 9-1/2" in diameter, not including the handle. It is in excellent antique condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. I did find a few yellowish spots on the bottom of the outside, see close up last photo. Your pot will be shipped either USPS or UPS Ground, whichever you choose. This auction is for a Royal Ironstone chamber pot manufactured by Baker& Co. Ltd in Fenton. Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England c 1893. The pot is 7" tall with lid. 8-1/4" wide, it weighs 3 pounds 15 ounces. The pot has a bluish tint that is very pretty. I do not know the pattern, it looks like a stylized Fleur-de-lis or maybe bundles of wheat. Mark on bottom arched" Royal Ironstone China- Lion& Unicorn emblem- Baker& Co Ltd- England. Item in very good condition. No chips or cracks. There is a stain on the top, it does not go thru to the other side so it may be a scratch. You can see it in the last photo.

It likely was once one piece of a complete chamber set that would have included washbowl with matching pitcher. Hot water jug, and possibly a toothbrush holder. The pot also would have had a lid originally, but alas, that has been lost to the ages. We have looked this item over carefully and found it to be in good antique and used condition. It's damage free having no chips. Cracks, or repairs. We found no crazing of glaze. You will note that the interior surface suffers some stain, discoloration, and residue that's probably commensurate with age and typical use. There are a few scratches and scuffs of the glaze on the exterior surface where the pot has been banged about a bit, but none that would be considered objectionable or offensive. The glaze is well applied, but does exhibit a few of the typical pops and inclusions common to such pottery as this. Taken altogether it's a good looking piece of antique ironstone utility ware that shows well. It has great potential as a planter or simply as a decorative accessory in the right room. There are four groups of embossed leaves on the underside of the top rim, and four larger groups, around the bottom. There are a couple of leaves around the applied handle, also. The pot is 5" high, has an 8 3/4" diameter at the top and a 5 3/4" diameter base. The black hallmark on the bottom reads, Royal Ironstone China Johnson Bros. England" There are no chips or cracks.
