CONDITION: Very good. Minor porcelain chips. There are minor chips in the porcelain glaze at the rider’s right front shoulder; to the rider’s waist, behind, center; to the back side of the horse’s right leg; at the edge of the horse’s stomach, right side, center; and at the rider’s left elbow. There is as well a scattering of minute porcelain chips throughout, and the top of the horse’s right ear is also chipped. Other than cleaning, there has been no restoration work. The minor chips could be repaired, without additional cost, if you would like our conservator to repair the chips. There remains some mild soil adhesions, small areas where soil still adheres to the statuette, despite our best efforts to clean away all soil adhesions. For your consideration we have a very Rare piece of Royal Doulton. This is a porcelain Footbath from the Victorian Era. It is all hand painted at the Doulton Burslem Art Pottery Studio's. Every flower back and front is outlined in heavy gold. The edge like many Victorian pieces of this elegance is decorated and gilded even on the underside top edge. The bottom bares the mark of Doulton Burslem from before 1901. The Footbath measures 21" long by 8 1/2" tall by 13 1/2" across in width. The large handled porcelain vessel is undamaged with no chips. Cracks nor restoration. Simply amazing for a used item of its kind. This piece has been treasured spaning two centuries and kept in pristine condition. Antique Chamber Pot w/Lovely Flowers Hallmarked BOOTH'S Royal Semi-Porcelain
DESCRIPTION: I’m offering today an Antique Victorian Chamber Pot with Lovely Flowers Hallmarked Booth's. This large size Victorian Chamber Pot is from my personal collection. I've collected Chamber Pots for many years and love all the different patterns and designs from the Victorian era. This particular Chamber Pot is ivory or cream color with soft pastel flowers flowing around the circumference of the large bowl. The shades of the flowers are in pinks. Lavender, pale yellow, blue with a small amount of red and of course, lovely stems and leaves in muted green shade. The bulbous pot has embossed indentures giving the bowl a scalloped look. Under the top edge of the rim of the pot are embossed floral designs within the semi-porcelain bowl. The ornately curled handle for carrying from one area to another is embossed with lovely floral ... moredesign as well. The inside of the bowl is cream or ivory color with no decoration. The semi-porcelain is very thick and heavy for durability. It has debris in the bottom of the bowl which was fired into the semi-porcelain back in the 1800's. This was a common occurrence for the era. The bottom underside of the large chamber pot is hallmarked: BOOTH'S with a crown above and below that. Royal Semi-Porcelain. I use my chamber pots for many different items. I put them in the ladies room for magazines; simply roll the magazine and you can place many within the bowl. I put extra toilet paper rolls and sit the chamber pot beside the toilet or on an antique table in the restroom. I put hair products; which stand nicely within the confines of the bowl. It's also great to have in the hallway to store your keys when you come in the door. So many uses for this wonderful item from the Victorian era. This porcelain chamber pot is in excellent condition. No chips or cracks. It does have some glaze crazing and has just a little discoloration inside. This set of cobalt blue transfer ironstone“sanitary ware” was produced by the Maddocks Lamberton Works in 1893-94 in Trenton. NJ. The firm added the name Royal Porcelain because the original owners of the firm were trained in England. It includes a chamber pot and lid. A covered soap dish, and a mug, each highly decorated with seaside scenes. All three pieces are in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. Only slight crazing due to their age. The chamber pot measures 9 1/4" diameter and 5 1/2" high; the lid 9 1/2" diameter. The soap dish measures 4 3/4" diameter; the lid 5" diameter. The mug measures 3 1/4" diameter and 5" tall. This handsome set was once used everyday. Today it would make a nice addition to a seaside bedroom as a reminder of days long ago.

Antique Maddocks Lamberton Works Royal Porcelain Chamber Pot with Lid. Pot is 9" across and about 5" high. There are two chips on the inside of the lid(see photo) and a tiny hair line crack(looks brown in photo) on the outside of the lid. No cracks or chips on the pot. Note the"pimple" on the handle.
