There is a small metal'button' foot welded on the end of each leg. These legs are made differently than is typical. Which can be seen in the photos. This attachment system seems to be stronger/ sturdier. Also, it allows for the legs to be spread or squeezed slightly when attached to get a thinner or wider appearance. These have all been wire brushed. Rust primered, and sprayed with one coat of black enamel. The result is a nice clean finish. However, i may well have missed a few spots, and there will likely be dings from shipping, so anticipate a second coat of black. Antique Bronze Set of 4 Art Nouveau Furniture Feet/Legs
Interesting set of four bronze pieces that would act as the feet for a table(or other piece of furniture) leg. Not sure of a date of origin. But these appear to have some age on them. They're in good shape with minimal signs of wear and a nice patina. The feet measure approximately 4.5" tall, 1.75" deep, and 1.25" wide. The opening where a leg would be inserted is slightly less than an inch in diameter and there is a hole on the back for a screw to hold it in place. We have up for auction today a set of 4 M atching L arge Cast Iron Eagle Claw and Ball Bathtub Feet! They are in good condition, but not perfect. They are marked on back but we couldn't make it out so w e scraped some of the paint off on the back side and it looks like it reads 1874 not sure. see pic) They need a good cleaning and repainting. SET OF 4 VICTORIAN STYLE PEDESTAL STYLE COUCH LEGS
Here are four legs from an 1870's-1890's couch that had seen better days. In fact these were the best part of it. They do need some help finish wise and the dowels need help also. Set of 4 Victorian Cast Iron Table Legs/Vtg Sculpted Horse Leg/15" Tall/Original
Set of four Victorian cast iron legs. Sculpted in the shape of horse legs. Lovely antique set of table legs measuring approximately 15" tall. Each weighs over 3 lbs and has four notches on top to screw legs onto a table. Bench, ottoman, chair or any number of wonderful creations you can make with these legs. Took many of the photographs with the legs upside down, hopefully to show them off better. Much of the off white paint is missing and there is newsprint stuck to the upper flat side of legs. Where paint is missing it looks as though there may be slight surface rust. But running my hand over one leg, it did not get dirty with rust, so it may just be the metal's natural patina. Checking out the metal I did notice that where paint is missing you can see grooves showing sculpted horse hair- a detail lost when covered with thick paint. ... moreBeing sold as-is, so please ask any questions you may have before bidding. NEW Set of six (6) Hairpin Furniture Legs 4"
These are unused legs leftover from a discontinued line of large clothes dresser. I don’t know exactly what the material is but it is a quality steel given the hardness and finish. The surface is shiny but not polished as in a mirror finish. Measured vertically from base to plastic button the height is 4 inches. The base plate measures 1 3/4" by 3 7/8" I judge them to have about a ten degree angle. The 5/16" rod is welded to the base plate by three tacks at each rod end instead of being welded 360° around. They unfailingly supported the dresser during its production period and will likely hold upwards of 300+ lbs or more when attached to a solid surface with suitable fasteners(not included) I've sold hundreds these over the past months and buyers have used them on beds. Tables, shelving units, desks, trunks, wooden ... moreboxes, and even couches and chairs. Please note that you want to order a quantity of 1 in order to get six legs. The“L” base of the legs are made from 3/16” thick steel and measures 6 inches long x 1/2 inch wide and are predrilled for mounting screws(screws not included) Wrought Iron legs are 28-1/2 inches long with a 10 degree angle x 1/2 inch diameter round and weld joints are strong. Each weighs 3lb-10oz. Some scratches and rust but overall in good condition for age. Refer to pictures for overall condition. These will add a retro-modern look to any table. Wonderful estate find-set of 4 mid century modern chair/table legs. Each measures 12 inches and has a brass/gold finish. Not sure what type of metal they are made of but they are weighty and solid-assuming they are steel. See all pics-there is expected wear of the golden finish but this can be painted over easily or left as is. I see no pits. Dents, cracks, rust or other obvious issues-really a solid set that would make any piece of furniture look great. The bases have solid welding of the legs(pics 4 and 10) Each base has 4 screw holes-2 holes at the"V" and another hole on each side for added stability when mounting to a table or chair.
