4 Antique Vintage Metal Tin & Brass Furniture Remnants Hardware Drawer Pulls
Up for auction are four matching metal antique Victorian era hardware furniture pulls recently found at auction in the Lancaster County. PA area. They are offered in good used condition and feature a nice cartuche form and retains original screws in two of the four pieces. A cleaner pull is on one piece, but one with the original patina is included. This is what was found and all will be included to the winning bidder. The backing is tin and the pull is brass. The backings are approximately 1 3/4" in diameter. Pulls extend approximately 2" from the backing. A very nice find, great for reuse on any piece of furniture or to be repurposed on any steampunk style project. Vintage, beautiful solid brass drawer or door pulls marked on the back as being made by Keeler Brass Company, no. 12391. Keeler brass first opened its doors in 1893. These are large, 6 ounce each pulls that measures 6 7/8" long and 2 1/4" tall. The space between the screw holes is 5" center of hole to center of hold. Some of them have screws in them, some do not. All are in excellent solid and strudy condition with age darkened patinas and oxidation that can be seen in some spots too. They all could use a good ... morecleaning- I have not tried to clean them in any way. so you know, it's only 6 that I have- if I had more, I would have listed them with these. They are gorgeous! 4 fancy Victorian squarish stamped brass drawer, door pulls 2"" OC LOOK
A lot of 4 late 19th century or early 20th century brass drawer or door pulls with a lot of embossed fancy detail. Unusual shape and style. All have the bails. The basic shape of backplates is almost a square but measure approx. 2-3/4 x 3" at widest areas. The backplates are stamped brass and the bails are cast brass. Have great original darkening or patina. Which I wouldn't think of cleaning or polishing. Have some greenish oxidation and varying surface darkening. Looks like they are meant to be oriented with the 3" dimension up and down and the 2-3/4" horizontally. The bolt holes are 2" on center. The only thing not original is that only one of them has one kind of mounting bolts with the pan head type heads and the others have the tapered underneath side with flat heads. I don't know which style would have been ... morethe original but it is easy to find old bolts though so shouldn't be a problem finding all to match if you feel that is necessary. 4 Shabby Rusty Vintage Brass Finished Steel Drawer Pulls I had an opportunity to go down state Illinois recently for the homecoming of my Alma Mater and shopped the wonderful sales. Barn sales and antique shops along the way. I have a huge variety of oldees for you this week- from 19th century primitives to 1950s kitsch- there’s something for everyone! At first glance. I thought that these old drawer pulls were brass- they have an age darkened patina and peeks of the brass color that you can still see(they're small, but they are there) But then I saw the light surface rust, and indeed, a magnet does stick to them- they are steel, with what's left of their original brass finish. I'm calling them shabby in my title because of that. They are in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally, and will come with the screws that ... moreyou see inside of each one at the back. It's a matching set of 4, each measuring 3" wide by 2 1/2" tall, and the screw holes at the back are 2 1/2" apart. All have their original swinging handle. They are dirty, and could use a good cleaning. The rust is surface only, with no sharp edges or eat throughs. As little clean up, a little finish, or leave them primitive as they are- you can't go wrong! Please ask if you have any questions.
