Here is a nice unusual antique Cast Iron seat pedestal base. Great industrial look to it. Refer to the pictures for finish condition. They could be easily cleaned up and painted or left as is to really show their age. The base is approx. 9.5" in diameter. Height adjusts from approx. 10" at lowest to approx. 15" at highest. These are very heavy duty.carrying an eight foot work top when found. They have a notch built in to hold a stretcher/ reinforcing board. The top piece has a built in 1.5" step up from front to back. As well as a brace for a backsplash. There are no maker's or foundry marks that I found. The rust is very light and much of it is'flash' rust caused by all the rain and moisture in the last weeks. No cracks were found. One small chip on one foot can be seen in photo 11. There is some reddish paint on the front of one leg. The height from the floor to the lower brace is 9" To the top of the front section is 30.5" to the top of the rear section is 31" to the top of ... morethe backsplash brace is 37" On the top, the front/lower section is 13.5" deep, and the rear/upper section is 15.5" deep. joe calcite INDUSTRIAL OAK& CAST IRON MACHINE LEGS STAND BASE This offering is for a set of cast iron sewing machine legs/ stand. BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE. I've seen the queen anne style legs, with the curve and'shoulder' part of the cast iron. In this case, the cast iron legs come with oak legs with a groove in the back to fit snugly over the iron and screw on from the rear. This gives you the option of using just the iron legs, or dressing them up with oak as your mood and decor dictate. To complete the transformation, I have included the trim pieces from the original upper cabinet so that the oak runs top to bottom. Unfortunately, the lower 5" of one is broken off, but placed on the side facing a wall or sofa, it would go unnoticed by most. Given the unique character, many wouldn't care. There are no cracks or breaks ... morein the iron. The paint was originally brown. But is now heavily worn with some light rust in places. The finish on the oak was dried out and flaking badly, so the rest of the finish was removed with a stiff brush and the exposed faces were clear coated. The wood itself is also worn. The legs measure 16" wide at the top, 13.5" wide at the bottom. Total height is 28" The stretcher is 23" wide, but can be replaced with a heavy threaded rod to place them closer together or further apart. Casters work but have a few flattened spots where its been dragged perpendicular to the wheels. You are buying ONE(1) Singer sewing machine drop front drawer. 14 1/4 opening. 14 7/8 total length 3 7/8 opening.4 1/8 total height 2 3/4 inch protrusion into the base cabinet. Please note that these old drawers had wooden knobs that did not take screws to hold them in. they had wooden screw threads and screwed into the drawer and they become weak with time. this one is still pretty strongly held but a really energetic person can pull it out of the socket.

Vintage antique cast iron factory machine table base TV stand legs
Vintage Cast Iron Machine or Table Base The wood table height is 24" from floor and 18"wide by 29" width What a great TV stand! The cast iron base is about 21-1/2" height. The feet are 23" square at the floor. This came from a blacksmith shop and had an anvil on it but I think it originally was for some sort of belt driven machine as there is evidence of an arbor. The top shows a lot of wear and grime. There is a semi-circle section of iron that was removed from one of the legs. Please see close up on the fifth picture. On the inside of each leg there is a bracket to support a shelf. What better for a TV stand? As pictured the table weighs 100 pounds with a ship weight of 120 pounds. The scrap sculpture you see was part of an unfinished table project we acquired. We've mounted it to shellacked plywood base which we have engraved with patterns on our laser. There are additional test patterns on the bottom of the base we used for calibrating the laser. Inside the recessed top of the sculpture is a threaded pipe that could be used to mount something else on top it. Effectively using it as a stand as it was intended. It looks fine on its own but could easily be converted into some sort of other useful item with the right piece on top. The measurements are shown in the photos. There are rollers on the bottom. The small stands on the pipes can be moved up and down and turned. The pipes and the small stands are locked in place with set screws. One of the small stands has a small crack. But it will not show up in the photos. Salvaged Hardwood Furniture Base Stand Vintage Antique 22"
Tri leg stand measuring 22" tall with a leg span of about 19" meaning that the bottom will occupy a space of 19"x19" The spindle post is about 2-3/4" thick at the widest point. I have left the insert peg in the top to give the next owner the option of using it or removing it. There are some flaws so examine pictures carefully. One of the legs appears upon close inspection to have been reattached at some point in the past. This appears to me to be a very sturdy solid salvage piece. This is a Great Vintage Mahogany Pie-Crust/ Tilt Top Table Top. It is the top part only. And measures 26” across, with some darker inlay in the center part of the top. The edges are scalloped, and have a beautiful molding. The underside has several small holes from the base it was once attached to. It needs to be refinished, but is otherwise in solid condition. Nice vintage industrial cast iron and steel pedestal base/ legs for a table. Bench, desk or whatever project you need them for! Very sturdy and with a great mix of the original black paint and bare iron where the paint has worn thru from years of use. There is also a small brass plate riveted to the base which could look awesome if you decide to polish it up! Base measures 10" diameter, the top pad is 7" x 7" there are 4 holes top and 6 at the bottom for mounting a table top or foot pads etc(3 of the holes in the base have nuts and bolts in place which can be removed if you need to or left as-is) It adjusts from 18" tall down to 11 1/4" tall.
